Apparently, no one pays it... That's why they shut off your service.

If I was to remove my sim from my iPhone 6 and put it into another phone to use for the night, what happens to my data on my iPhone 6?
Will everything remain the same (e.g. photos, messages) when I put my sim card back in my iPhone?

Nothing will happen if you remove your sim card from your iPhone 6.  The only thing that will happen is that you will not be able to use it as a phone - you will have no service.
Nothing is stored on a sim card of an iPhone - iPhones cannot store data on a sim card - everything is stored on the phone itself, with syncing via iTunes.
You can take the sim card out and nothing will happen to your data - it is all stored on the phone.

The same purchases will be available on the new iPhone using the same Apple iD.
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Store then switch Music ON.

  • What will happen when I remove controllers from mobility groups?

    Hi,
I'm wondering what exactly will happen when I remove a controller from a mobility group?
    1) Will it require a reboot? (I don't think so, nothing I've found says so)
    2) Will it deauth/reauth the AP's connected (I don't think so, nothing I've found says so)
    3) Will it do anything else goofy?
I have 2 RF groups spanning continents over low speed links. All that is transmitted over mobility groups is session data correct? Not usernames, not ??? What am I missing here? I'm banging my head against the wall because I can't figure out why someone would configure the system in this way.
    Setup:
    WLC 4404, WLC 2100's
    WCS 5.2.148
    11xx series AP's
    Radius Auth for domain users
a few SSID's, one guest SSID, no DHCP on any of the controllers
    Thanks in advance,

  • What can happen if someone took your SIM card?

Someone stole a relatives iPhone5 and someone found it but said it doesn't have a SIM card. We are meeting and verifying tomorrow. What can someone do with it and how will they benefit? The phone has already been disconnected so it's not like they can use it. My guess is maybe sell it? I'm just curious to know if there's a purpose for taking a SIM card.

It can be used with another GSM phone that uses a nano-SIM card until the SIM card is reported as lost or stolen with the carrier and deactivated by the carrier.
Other than that, there is no purpose or benefit for someone taking the SIM card except for disabling the Find My iPhone option.

  • What will I lose by removing a folder and then resynchronizing?

I am having a problem editing files that I imported into Lightroom from my photoshop elements 6 catalog. The details of what I've gone through are in the thread titled: Problem with "Edit in Photoshop" and Lightroom 2.1 failing to import new file
I think I have a work-around, but it involves writing the meta-data of all files out to disk, removing the folders from lightroom, and then re-importing them.
When I do this, I know I will lose some information. I want to know if I will lose more than I'm expecting.
I expect I'll preserve any changes I've made to any files. I also expect I'll preserve all my keywords and that the keyword hierarchy will still be intact. These are the most important things.
I expect I'll lose my stacks. This is an irritation, but I think I'll be able to recover using automatic stacking by picture time. If I do this, how will the program choose which picture goes at the top of the stack? I have to experiment with this feature before I pull the trigger.
I also expect I'll lose any editing history of any pictures I've edited since I brought them into lightroom. This isn't a big deal for me -- I've only edited a hundred or so pictures in the week or so that I've been playing with lightroom.
So am I missing anything? Is there anything important I'll lose by this procedure?
    Thanks for the input.
    Doug

.....and with any stack open, right click the image you want to be at the top of the stack and select it.

  • What will happen if i plug in an external HD that is/was used for a pc?

Here's the deal: I have a Hewlett-Packard PC which i rarely use anymore and it has one of those dockable-in-the-cpu-tower 300g Hard drives. I want to start using it for my two iMacs that I have. I am surmising that this HD is pc formatted and I want to know how to start using it with my apple computers. What are the steps necessary to do this? Thanks....
....oh, ... when i say that I want to start using it ..."it" means the external hard drive .... I want to start using this portable hd for my iMacs. And what I really want to do is to put my iTunes library and photos on this HD. I just have this thing about using up hd space on my iMacs. Please put your two cents in for me...

    Hi.
PC disks should be FAT32 formatted as they come and if you out the disk into an external drive enclosure be it USB or Firewire, your iMac should be able to mount it and read it.
If you want to use this "re-convert" hard drive as your "permanent" external drive for your iMac and nothing else, I would advise you to reformat the disk to the GUID format (partition), which is recommended for all Intel Macs, because they read and write to external drives a little differently from their PPC counterparts.
Here's the link to how to reformat/re-partition a drive to GUID:

  • What will happen after this?

I have a procedure kicked off yesterday to update a table. But I killed it this morning. Just after I killed the session, I kicked off another SQL to perform the same task to update the same table and same columns but faster.
What is happening right now is: the Oracle is performing a roll back on the killed procedure while the new SQL is running.
    So here are my questions:
    1. what will happen later when the SQL is completed and the roll back is not done yet?
    2. Will the roll back affect the new SQL updates?
    Thanks,

Dive into the concepts manual. A basic concept of Oracle [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28318/consist.htm#CNCPT020]concurrency and consistency is that each (something) gets a view of the database at the start of the (something). (something) is usually a transaction or statement, depending on configuration and programming. Oracle uses System Change Numbers to figure out if each view should include any particular version of block data, kind of like a clock.
So basically, it all works, but you may see performance impacts just because stuff is happening, and you may see odd effects if you don't understand what you are doing. It is different than other database engines.

  • What will happen when Zen7 is removed from eDir?

We are migrating to ZENworks 10. We are almost finished, but there are a handful of workstations that have not got the update, due to individual computer issues or laptops that aren't plugged in frequently.
The E directory administrators would like to uninstall/remove ZENworks 7 from the directory.
We are using Group policies, DLU, and some NAL objects.
NAL is no big deal since the user has to run those.
The absence of DLU should be fine I think since the users already have accounts on the local computer. But once they update their edir password it won't sync. Which is OK, because they'll call the helpdesk and we'll update them to zen10.
Big question, what will happen to the group policies? Will they continue to work locally off a cache or will they cease to work all together?
Are there any other problems to forsee?

There is no supported way to "contract" the eDirectory schema from it
    being extended to support ZENWorks.
You can delete all of the ZENWorks related objects though: NAL Apps,
Policy packages, workstations, inventory, etc. Then, disable the
startup of the ZENWorks services. Finally, remove the ZENWorks plug-ins
from ConsoleOne (or drop C1 altogether if you don't use GW).

  • What will happen to my purchased movies/TV shows if iTunes removed them from the store?

I'm honestly sorry to bother you. I tried to google this and cloudn't find a good answer.
What will happen to my purchased movies/TV shows (that I haven't downloaded on my devices) if iTunes removed them from the store? Will I still be able to watch/download them from iCloud?
I'm trying to buy all my favourite movies and TV shows without downloading them, to keep them in iCloud that I can access from all my devices whenever I want, but I'm scared that iTunes will remove them from my iCloud if something happens to the contract between them and the production company. Should I worry about that?
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate it.
    Best,
    Faisal

Thank you for taking the time to explain this.
But the thing is, I don't want to download ANYTHING because I don't have storage. That's why I want to buy them and watch them through iCloud (on my Mac iTunes) without downloading.
I know that it's safer to download them. But does "safer" mean that iTunes might not let me access my purchases through iCloud?

  • What will happen to the organization of library if I removed the songs from windows explorer? Will iTunes automatically updated without all the deleted songs, or it will indicate 'missing location'? Any fast ways to clear this 'missing location' songs?

What will happen to the organization of library if I removed the songs from windows explorer?
Background: I found it easier to identify duplicated songs in windows explorer as the songs will be renamed .... 1.mp3, thus enabling me to remove the duplicated songs; unlike in iTunes where I know the trick of showing duplicate songs, but you don't know which one is the one with 1 at the end of the file name.
Will iTunes automatically update the library without all the deleted songs, or will it indicate 'missing location' songs? Any fast ways to clear this 'missing location' songs by highlighting them all and delete all at one go?
    Thanks.

One way is to use iTunes Folder Watch with its option to check for dead tracks on start up.
Another option is with a set of Lost & Found playlists.
    Lost & Found
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist. Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist. You can delete them all with a Ctrl-A to select them and Shift-Delete to remove them.
You can then delete the Lost & Found playlists.

  • MY PC WAS REFORMATTED. WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I CONNECT MY IPOD TO MY PC NOW

    Hi everyone!
My pc was recently formatted, and now I want to add new songs to my iPod. What will happen to the songs in my iPod when i connect it to the newly formatted PC? (not all songs in my iPod are in my PC anymore).
Is there a way I can get all my songs from my iPod to my PC? If there is a way, would the songs remain organized from the iPod to the PC? Coz I am very organized with my iTunes and iPod, every artist, genre, album title is fixed.
Would the PC automatically update my iPod? I know there is a setting in iTunes where I could choose if iTunes updates my iPod automatically or manually, but I can't seem to find it. I'm afraid to connect my iPod now to my PC because this might erase and foul up my songs in my iPod.
    Thanks and please help.
    Chad

If your iPod is set to update automatically you just need to take care when connecting back to your computer and an empty iTunes. If it is set to automatically update you will get a message that your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press *No*. Pressing "Yes" will irretrievably remove all songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it: Managing Your Songs Manually
You can also use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys (on a Mac hold down the Option and Command (⌥ and ⌘) keys). This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 20 to 30 seconds depending on your computer. Then go to Edit>Preferences>iPod and check the "Manually manage songs and playlists" box.
You can't sync or drag your music back directly from an iPod to iTunes, the transfer of music is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes
If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod, this is just a selection. Have a look at the web pages and documentation for these, they are generally quite straightforward.
    YamiPod Mac and Windows Versions
    iGadget Windows Only
    iPodCopy Mac and Windows Versions
iPod Access Mac and Windows Versions
    PodUtil Mac and Windows Versions
    iPodCopy Mac and Windows Versions
    PodPlayer Windows Only
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync again. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up in case you have problems again. External drives are comparatively inexpensive these days and you can get loads of storage for quite a small outlay.

  • What will happen after I deactivate my iphone?

Hello, fellow people of the internet!! I'd really like to know, what will happen if I have AT&T deactivate the sim card on my iphone and reactivate the one from my old samsung phone? If someone has gone through a similar experience, would it be possible for you to talk me through the process, or just let me know if there's anything special or worrying that I should know? Can you keep the iphone and continue using it (without any of its actual cellular features, I know), do they charge you for anything , either right there at AT&T or later on in the form of a bill? Is it a quick process or would it be rather complicated? If you couldn't already tell, I'm clueless but I just don't want there to be any surprises if I go through with this 'cause I'd really like to go back to my old phone (is that shocking to anyone? :O) but still keep the iphone around and give it some use without much complications. Anyways, thanks in advance for your time and answers, I really appreciate it!!! :D

Backup your phone before restoring and then you can't possibly lose any data.
You should also be syncing your phone with iTunes, iCloud or some other service, so that data should be safe and re-appear on the phone when you set it up again with the same sync service.
