What will i be missing out on really?
once i update the current "iPhone" with the 2.0 software...what will i really be missing out on if i decided not to get the "iPhone 3G"? just the GPS & 3G capabilities or is there a whole lot more?
well, then im not sure i will be one of the many rushing out to get the 3G version...
i mean, the GPS, although nice to have, i dont need...the current Google Maps with directions is sufficient...
and as for the 3G, is the speed really that much noticeable compared to what it is now?...i mean it would be nice if im talking on the phone and need to jump on the web, for whatever reason, at the same time...or get a call in while actively surfing the web...but not sure if it is worth getting a new phone and changing my service plan...maybe im wrong in my thinking, maybe i need a little more convincing

I am trying to edit my music list and then sync it to my iPhone 5 so I don't run out of storage space. However, I see the check marks on the iTunes library but am unable to uncheck them? How do I manually edit what will be synced to my phone? (the check marks are not bolded, does this mean they are not in my library but only on my phone?)
You uncheck the music in your iTunes library on your computer and along with sync only checked songs and videos selected under the Summary selection for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, only checked songs in your iTunes library will be transferred to your iPhone or remain on your iPhone and the unchecked songs in your iTunes library that are currently on your iPhone will be removed when syncing.
Or make use of iTunes playlists and choose selected playlists, albums, artists under the Music selection for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and select the playlists below that you want transferred to your iPhone. -

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
What are the benefits of buying an iPad 2 with wi-fi, or with 3G when I already have an iPhone 4 with 3G? My plan with was to go for wi-fi and connect to the internet through my iPhone 4. Am I missing out on anything by not getting 3G?

Don't delete your old account yet. Just setup a new one in Mail>Preferences>Accounts, little plus icon. Choose IMAP as account type, not ,mac or MobileMe.

However, the days of upgrading every other version are gone. Before Adobe released the Cloud, starting with CS6, they amended the upgrade policy and were requiring upgrades with every version.
But that all disappeared soon after when Adobe chose to discontinue perpetually licensed versions altogether last year and go 100% Cloud (subscription) only when they launched CC. They're still selling CS6 for those who insist on it but it'll no doubt disappear over time and there will be no CS7 perpetually licensed version.
The future in Adobe's eyes without doubt is the Cloud, requiring monthly payments and automated periodic license checks on Adobe servers via the internet. -
What will happen to " the new iPad " I bought 2 months ego. Now the model is discontinued . What apple will do?....really disappointing.
I just bought two new iPads a few weeks ago. If they're still in the return window they're going back. Maybe it's time to look at some of the Android tablets since all of a sudden Apple thinks the mini is a great idea.

indexing involves additional I/O when performing DML on indexed tables. For example, if your table has 10 indexes, then when you insert or update one table row, you will need to update 10 indexes to reflect these changes. This causes additional I/O.

ThanksNo body knows about the next gen of any Apple products, other than they always advance. There are still many much older products in successful use so that should not be a problem. My iPad original cannot use iOS 6.1.3 but it still does what I want and works great.
If you have the 4th gen, use it aa long as it meets your needs. If it doesn't look at the options for a new one at that time. -

What will happen to the organization of library if I removed the songs from windows explorer?
Background: I found it easier to identify duplicated songs in windows explorer as the songs will be renamed .... 1.mp3, thus enabling me to remove the duplicated songs; unlike in iTunes where I know the trick of showing duplicate songs, but you don't know which one is the one with 1 at the end of the file name.
Will iTunes automatically update the library without all the deleted songs, or will it indicate 'missing location' songs? Any fast ways to clear this 'missing location' songs by highlighting them all and delete all at one go?
Thanks.One way is to use iTunes Folder Watch with its option to check for dead tracks on start up.
Another option is with a set of Lost & Found playlists.
Lost & Found
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist. Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist. You can delete them all with a Ctrl-A to select them and Shift-Delete to remove them.
You can then delete the Lost & Found playlists.
