its to slow to connect..so i decided to run for diagnostic to know y if i cant connect to itunes eventhough i have account..heres the result:
Connection attempt to Apple web site was unsuccessful.
Basic connection to the store failed.
Connection attempt to Gracenote server was successful.
iTunes has never successfully accessed the iTunes Store.

I converted the video to .mp4(MPEG-4) format. I can see the video in iTunes library but i can sync it to the iPod. It is showing that the video cannot be played in iPod. What to do to sync the video successfully??? Please help.........

Highlight the video in iTunes and choose Advanced -> Create iPod or iPhone version and wait for it to finish converting. Then try and sync the newly converted version over to your iPod Classic.

8gig ipod touch screen not lighting up can see if look closely but cant slide the unlock or anything either will not show up in my itunes either

ok so i turned on my ipod but the screen stays dark if look closely at an angle you can see the screen but doesnt light up

Hello,
I take it you haven't unticked any of the songs listed on your iTunes Library? Also have you tried selecting all your songs which you wish to add to your iPod, and dragging them over your Devices "iPod Nano"; and seeing if that copies all songs on to your iPod?
Another idea is just check that your iPod has enough space for the rest of your songs to be added to your device.

I went in and reset my iPod Touch back to factory settings and now it will not let me get in unless I sync to iTunes on my computer. Well, it still will not connect thru the USB cord. Does anyone know what I should do to get this corrected? I want my iPod back.

Is there no sound period? I mean nothing through the headphones or the speaker? If the sound works only through the speaker or just through the headphones the switch inside the headphone port maybe stuck open. Try plugging and unplugging 10 to 12 times to unstick it. If no sound at all, go into Settings>Music>Volume Limit. See if it is turned on, if so check that the limit is not turned down to zero. If still not the problem try a soft reset, press and hold the power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears, about 15 seconds, then release. if still no joy go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. If still no joy, connect to iTunes via the cable and Restore to backup. If that doesn't work Restore to new. Just remember to save all your stuff that can be wiped before you restore, pictures, music, contacts etc. If none of this works, then maybe a hardware issue contact Apple Genius Bar or store and have your iPod evaluated. If you mean the headphones work but the speaker does not:
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

All I can see on my Ipod is the itunes app plugged into the usb. I have reset it and still not working

I am getting a black screen on my ipod touch. I plug it into the ihome or the computer and all it shows it the round itunes and the usb plug in. I have tried to reset it by pushing the home button with the on/off button and it will show the apple for just a split second and then go back to the itune/usb screen. What can I do to fix this.

Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
