My old 6100 AV worked great on A10 ATTACK, back in 1993.
whats a good set up now a days?
I havent seen any MAC set ups as a lot of the after market accessories are on Windows platform.
Is there a way or should I get a dedicated simulator on PC?

The fact that USB flight input devices appear to Windows only is not a limitation; for Mac most are programmed through the sim itself. I know X-Plane does that.
I've simmed a lot and know that good sims need a lot of processor and video hardware horsepower, and you'll also need a lot of RAM. They also run up the internal temps. A Mac Pro has better cooling than an iMac. You can get a program like SMCFanControl to manually set up the fans speeds before starting the sim.
I know of no sims today that will still run on a PowerPC Mac (2005 and earlier) so you need to look to an Intel Mac with top specs. If looking at iMacs, start by looking for the quad-core i7 processor. Those models usually came with an up-rated video card. Thing 12 to 16GB RAM.
My 2010 iMac has the 2.93gHz i7 processor, video hardware (ATI 5750) with 1TB VRAM, and 12 GB of RAM. It runs the x-Plane 10 demo fine but I've not bought the full version because v10 seems to make foot pedals darned near mandatory, and I don't want $100 worth of pedals under my regular work desk at the moment.

Place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod via iTunes. For recovery mode see:

What do you mean by photo gallery? Are you referring to what version of the iPhoto application? What version came with your iMac?
iPhoto 8.1.2 would be a good choice for that system and limited amount of memory. It comes on the iLife 09 disc which is available from 3rd party vendors like Amazon.com or eBay.com.
If you can add memory to your iMac do so. Increasing memory to 4 GB will do wonders for the speed of the system and applications.

About my experience working with events:
In one of my BW Project: we were using AutoSys to do job scheduling (to run InfoPackages).
To automate the loading process we created events for each infopackage. Then in that Infopackage we used to select option "Start later in Background" and then select option "After Event". Then specified the event name and parameter.
Then in the same infopackage we selected button "Subsequent Process" the in that seelct option "Trigger Events" Here you can have options to specify if this event is successful then what next event to trigger and if this event fails what next event to trigger.
So this way we used to automate data loads.
This was dont caz there was no process chains concept during that time. So good example of events and event based process are PROCESS CHAINS.

I'm not affiliated w/ the developer, just a happy user that gave up fighting the apple podcast app a while ago. I used to have a bunch of smart playlists in itunes for my podcasts, and come home every day and pathologically synced my phone as soon as I walked in the door, and again before I walked out the door in the morning.
Since my wife was doing this too, we were fighting over who's turn it was to sync their phone.
Since I've switched to Downcast, I no longer worry about syncing my phone to itunes at all. I can go weeks between syncs.
Setup a "playlist" in downcast (ex., "Commute") and add podcasts to that playlist. Add another playlist ("walk" or "workout") and add different podcasts to that one.
Set podcast priorities on a per-feed basis (ex., high priority for some daily news feeds, medium priority for some favorite podcasts, lower priority for other stuff). Downcast will play the things in the priority you specify, and within that priority, it will play in date order (oldest to newest).
Allegedly, it will also sync your play status to other devices, although that is not a feature I currently use and can't vouch for. It uses apple's iCloud APIs, so to some extent may be limited by what Apple's APIs can do.

I am shooting with the Sony HXR NX5, and i would like to ask what timeline format shall i use for footage in AVCHD format? I do not see any format in the Final Cut Pro and in Motion that matches my camera format.

IF you are working with FCP 7.0.3 (the last version) then you use Log and Transfer to ingest your footage from that camera, and Log and Transfer will convert the AVCHD camera files to ProRes.
Once the camera files are ingested, make a new (empty) timeline, and either drag a source clip or edit it to that timeline and you will be prompted to match the sequence settings to the source clip. Say yes and you should be good to go.
AVCHD, H.264,etc. files are not directly usable in FCP without conversion.

Lots of uses, besides just wireless broadband. You can get a media card reader (I have an 11-in-1 ExpressCard from SIIG). SSD memory. Additional ports (USB, FW, eSATA).

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID?

Just got a new shinny ipod HiFi, however what dock connector can I use for an 80GB (5thG) as the connectors only go up to 60GB??? Or does the ipod come with a dock connector? Can anyone point me in the right direction, pretty please.

You mean the dock adapter, right? The little plastic piece with a slot?
Use the one for the 60GB.
The only thing they do is make the iPods it correctly in the dock.
The dock connector is the slot on the bottom of the iPod.
