Whats an app that my boyfriend and I can use to video chat and text (type to each other) at the same time?

I have an Ipod Touch and he has an Iphone 4. We have tried tango, but the audio on it is awful. He has 4g but on certain apps he has to have wifi to use them, like facetime, but he doesnt have wifi. So I have facetime on my ipod touch, and i have wifi, but he doesnt! so It needs to be an app that can be accessed with wifi AND 4g. So we need this app to allow us to do video, and at the same time type to each other on the screen. ( or at the bottom of the screen, whichever.) Because for some reason on the different video apps we've tried he can never hear me, and sometimes i cant hear him. I dont always have a very good signal, so if we couild just have the video we would be fine with just typing to each other. Also I'm staying at a hotel with my parents and they sleep early and i dont want to wake them, so typing to each other would be very ideal. Anyone know of an app that can do these things?

Have you ever even used skype on an iphone or ipod? We tried it and there is no way to type to each other while you are video chatting. You can do the typing during the video on a COMPUTER, but not on an iphone or ipod.

But what i Want to do is having more than one Tomcats running in those SDK
Of course, the principal matter is about ports, but I wanna know how Can i get them running... Will i call each JVM especify?
Will they use patyh ??
Any tomcat+jdk user can trow me some advice ?

This link pretty much sums sup what I want to do Francesco Tonelli PhotographyPortfolio - 35. I have read a lot of blogs explaining that the way to do it is in the print module page. I tried this but when I save the picture, I lose edits and my whites become off brown. Is there a way to just export the pictures as a 2 in 1 format?

There is not an "Export" option from the Print module, so you need to understand that "Print to JPG" is in fact creating (or 'sending') a new image file somewhere in your computer. You should also have selected all the printing options in the print panels, just as you would if you were printing on your own attached printer.
When you click on the "Print to File" button, Lightroom should offer you a dialog to save the new (dyptych) image in a folder of your choice with a name of your choice. Note: You must remember where you saved this new image file!
This new image file will not appear in the Lightroom library, so to have it appear in your Lightroom library you must either use the "Import" module, or the "Synchronize Folder" option- Locating the new file or folder where you saved it! Only after this will you see it in Lightroom, where you will now have access to all Export functions to resize, etc.
If you do not need to see it in Lightroom- there is no need to import it, just use your computer system file finder to locate the JPG file to send, print, email, etc.

Can I do video chats and Webcam suggestions.

My wife has a G4 iBook running 10.3.9 (Panther). Our son, is away at college and has a MacBook running 10.4.8 and has the built in iSight camera in the Book.
My wife would like to do video chats with him from her iBook.
1. I assume that her version of iChat supports video chats, correct?
2. If that is correct can someone suggest a good web cam to get that will work with her iBook?

USB cams can be made to work with an Add-On, http://www.ecamm.com/mac/ichatusbcam/ They have a Camera Guide to the right. The list is not exaustive of what works but does list the central core of their checking.

This driver is now in the OS and the demo is not need first.
Some DV Convertors also work. These take Analogue signals from older camCorders and can change it to DV over firewire. Useful for importing older movies on tape into iMovie but can be used for iChat as well. (it's what I do)

My iMac and MacBook can't see each other on the same wifi network

I've got a 2010 MacBook running Snow Leopard and a late 2009 iMac running Lion. They are connected wirelessly to a Belkin N+ router and can ping one another by IP. They can also share a mouse using Synergy by IP. They can't resolve one another's hostnames (<compname>.local).
Unfortunately, they don't show up in each other's local network in Finder. They have recognized each other twice in the few days I've had this set up but those times were directly after a reboot of both machines and even then, only one machine could see the other. One time it was iMac -> MacBook, the other it was MacBook -> iMac.

More information: After restarting my router and upgrading the firmware, the my MacBook was able to see my iMac (ping it directly immediately) and it showed up in the list of Shared devices.
My iMac was able to ping the MacBook eventually (after 22 timeouts, it eventually got a few high round-trip pings that lowered shortly thereafter), but it is still unable to see the MacBook in the Shared devices list.
I was, however, able to mount it with Finder > Connect to Server > afp://192.168.2.3. This is useful progress, but it's not ideal because I use some software like "teleport" that still doesn't recognize my MacBook is a shared Mac. The teleport software on my MacBook does recognize the iMac as a shared Mac.

I cleared out my MAC address book and began using my AOL email account. It took a few days and then my AOL email account was infected and has now been send out malicious email to all my contacts for over a month. It has also infected my iPhone--I am no longer able to send or receive emails on my iPhone. Also, once the Trojan Horse began using my AOL email it completely blocked me from using my MAC account by sending never ending popups asking for my email password to access my MAC email account, but it never accepts my pass word. The TH has also slowed down everything on my computer. It's like I am working on an old PC with dial up connection instead of the high speed digital connection that I have. The little color wheel spins constantly as I wait for sometimes over a minute for a page to pull up. If it pulls up at all. I have tried to use the 2 disks that came with my computer to completely remove everything on my computer and then reinstall all the programs, but I am not allowed to sweep my computer clean. I thought maybe my disks that came with my computer were defective so I called Apple and they sent me 2 new disks. I am not able able to clear my computer with the 2 new disks either. I have done this before successfully so it's not something new to me. I do remember when I believe my computer became infected: I had googled an unusual sewing term, and I was opening what appeared to be legitimate sites, when all of a sudden a pop up appeared that said that my computer had been infected. I immediately shut my computer off, but it was too late. I downloaded a virus program for Mac, and it has never found a virus or problem at all. I think it is part of this Trojan Horse, but I am unable to delete it from my computer. It refuses to uninstall. The Mac Trojan Horse is real and it is terrible. If anyone has any suggestions for me I would be very appreciative,

Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.

You can use multiple computers at the same time.. if you use wireless it will go very slowly while they are both running backups.. it would be better to stop the backup on one and wait a half hour and then restart it.. that should displace the time it backs up by half hour.
The max number of computer is however many people can stand it with the speed.. the actual client limit is 50.. but you would start having seizures long before you get there.. a rule of thumb is 10 clients per AP.. and even then it is going to be slow if all are active at the same time.

How to run save for web and contact sheets at the same time

my question is simple and a means to save time-
Lets suppose I have 3 camera images and I want to run either save for web applications on 2 cameras at the same time, how/can i do that to save time or lets say contact sheet action on 1 and save for web on the other to save time or photoshop files and this runs in the background?

Even if you could run the three process in the background at the same time I do not think the duration of the total execution time would be any shorter. You would still be executing the same number of processor instruction reading and writing the same number of files. If the whole processor was constrained by the processing power running them cuncurrenly may increase the processing time because of contention for the processor. If the processes are IO bound that will not change a overlaping the processes may cause more hard disk seaking because of contention of the hard disk arm.
