Whats does this mean?!!! "An Unknown error has occured (-69). What do i do?
I havent been able to open my itunes for a long time now. I've deleted all of my itune files( including the music ones) then i removed it and tried re-installing it a couple times..and nothings working...Can someone please help me?

this is an unusual context (opening itunes) in which to get a -69.
they are often associated with file damage. so sometimes running a chkdsk over the C: drive (or wherever else you keep your itunes program and/or music files) can be of some help.

does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? if so, does you itunes launch again? if not, are you still getting the -69, or is something different happening?

That's an issue with your system. Try removing the iTunes and the other APPLE software related from your system and reinstall it again.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.) -

I have just got an iphone 5c. However i'm having trouble with my itunes on my laptop.
I'm getting 2 error messages:
Error message 1 is ( an unknown error occured 42032 ) this happens every time i open itunes.
Error message 2 is ( itunes cannot connect to this iphone, an unknown error has occured ) this happens every time i try to connect my new phone.
I am running the latest itunes version on windows 7.
So far i've tried uninstalling all components and reinstalling them to no avail.
I've spent 3 hours today on the phone to both Apple and Microsoft with both blaming each other.
Please someone help.

I'm trying to update my apps and purchase a movie from itunes and it keeps saying "an unknown error has occurred." How do I fix this?
Trying to do both at the same time? Try updating the apps first. Maybe one at a time. Then try buying the movie.
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
The last date of my back up was 10/4- keeps saying The backup disk image "/backup disk image "/Volumes/time Capsule/ cheryl lynott's MacBook.sparsebundle" is already in use?
HELP -- what does this mean -- .......
Often, this error can be corrected by pulling the power on the Time Capsule, waiting a few minutes, and powering the Time Capsule back up.

The error for (3F1) does not always refer to the harddrive on your laptop. It appears that it can also refer to the optical drive. I just finished troubleshooting the same error message on a dv6-6000 series - it works fine without the optical drive, but will not boot with the Optical drive in place. I have tried a couple replacement optical drives, all with the same error message. It appears that the motherboard has the issue, not the drive. ANY COMMENTS?
