Whats going on.. its getting stuck?

i have some problems with this program, it seems it gets "stuck" when i try to make a movie.. i add themes and move on to media, both highlight at the same time and the program freezes, so i moved back to the desktop and clicked back on the imovie window, and it works.. is it software?

you gave us little info about your hard- and software setup ...
so, a shot in the dark:
reading 'iBook' (=small harddrive) in your spec, I assume, your harddrive is 'full'...
1h iM project = 13GB... your MacOs likes ~5GB to be a happy OS... and, iM (and iDVD) needs tons of free disk space for running smoothly.. it is recommended, to keep allways free 10 - 15GB of disk space on internal while using these apps...
otherwise, your Mac starts to behave odd, 'til freeze...

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

    Hi ChrisBell,
my Pixi shows me the missed calls in a list of its own? I don't have many, so maybe I'm missing something. But I agree with your half-ranting to some degree. As a long-time Palm-user (my last phone was a Treo 680, terrible form factor, good UI), I am really disappointed with the standard software on this phone. Memos and Tasks, which AFAIK were there and useful even on the first Newton's, have regressed beyond the point of usefulness now (solution: Toodledo and Done!, at least for now).
But ChrisBell: if you feel up for it, you could start tinkering. Many people love these phones so much they have started developing patches to solve the obvious problems skimmed over by developers. Try looking up "webosquickinstall" and "preware", and you will find over 300 patches and a lot of free software to help you out. I am not a computer wizard myself, but I am not scared of them either, and I have been able to make good use of all these extras made available by the community.
just a thought, might help you out on a few of your half-rants

  • I cant authorize my computer Its gets stuck while logging in.

Help please before I go insane! I have not been able to "authorize" my compter, log into itunes or perform a backup to my computer since my inital synch when I got my phone 2 weeks ago. Iv uninstalled re installed to know avail with numerous attempts although, Im still able to transfer music and perform a synch. Iv also tried adding an additional user acct to my computer and tried to access this way. Iv turned off my firewall and my anti virus still nothing. What can I do?.

    Thank You!
If Apple can , as they have, guarantee us full control over the music we already purchased from iTunes for an additional 30 cents per song, then why cant they just give it to us without the 30 cents?
It s huge disappointment receiving generic apologetic e-mail after generic apologetic e-mail asking me to send them my iTunes
account info and all purchase records, which i provide , or asking for my cell phone number , and a convenient time for them to call me , which i provide and feigning interest in my dilemma then hearing zip !
thats not true I hear from Apple and iTunes with nauseating frequency.... Hawking something or other almost daily, esp iLife 8. and, soon Leopard!
If there is a solution to this greed fueled mess They should offer me a time to call them well actually, they seem to have forgotten that service is as as important as Trendy eye candy, to maintain any credibility they are the best , until they are in such a rush to

  • My Mac Book Pro suddenly gets stuck with weird horizontal colored lines across the screen, which will only go once I restart the laptop. What can I do?

Randomly while scrolling, the screen just goes beserk and gets stuck with random colored lines. And, the only way to get rid of this is to restart my entire computer. My laptop is about 3 years old now. Is this a sign of age or what? What can I do to run my laptop smoothly without turning it off and on every time it goes crazy?

    Hi.
    1) First go to SM58....check if any TRFC is stucked......then press F6 to push them....
    2) After pushing also if the load does'nt proceed.......then check for Shortdumps in ST22......
also check the jog log >> copy the request nimber >> go to the source system >> SM37 >> give the request no (BI as prefix) >> check the job log........if you find Sysfail.....that means short dump......
Then cancel the job if it is active.........make the QM status red and repeat the load.......
    3) Also check the system performance........if there is any locks or deadlocks in ST04...........also check SM21......
    Hope this helps you.......

  • DS6.3 Installation - getting stuck at  " Registering JESMF agent into Cacao

    Hello,
Am trying to install DS 6.3 on the Solaris 10 Box. But its getting stuck in the end. I ran dsee_deploy install -v -c ALL /opt/SUNWdsee command. But when it didnt complete the installation. Please see below:

After this it didnt move up in the installation process. What could be the reason.. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
DS 5.2 P6 is running on this machine on a different path. But same installation got completed on another box successfully.
I dont see any log messages for DS6.3 installation under /var/sadm/install/logs directory.
    Thanks in advance!.

    Hi,
Looks like dsee_deploy hangs during JESmf registration. For this registration dsee_deploy launch the following command v"dsccsetup mfwk-reg -t".
You can try to run the command manually and check if it works or not.
Log of cacao ( <install_path>/dsee6/cacao_2/var/cacao/instances/default/logs/ ) can also help to see if JESmf module has been registered correctly or not.
    Hope this helps

    thanks

Do you have a media card installed? If so, remove the battery while the phone is powered on, remove the media card (leave it out), then reinsert the battery and let the phone fully reboot. See if that makes a difference or not.

  • Apple - DualDisc CDs get stuck

I just experienced the most craziest experience with a CD to import into iTunes. It is those entertainers putting out DualDisc (DVD on one side and CD on the other). It gets stuck inside the DVD-RW drive. Does Apple have any plans to address this? I think the industry is creating ways not to import to iTunes from an Apple system. Any opinions?

I'm not sure what you mean by getting "stuck." Does the disk not show up on the desktop at all, does it spin and just not recognize it? I imagine your problem is due to the fact that dual disc is not technically a real cd as it does not meet spec. I don't really have much of a solution for you. I don't personally like the dual disc format at all. In fact, they most actually have a warning on them that says that they may not play in all cd players. It's kind of a stupid format, and yes the record industry is just trying to squeeze a few more dollars out of you by including a dvd. I haven't had this problem yet, but then I haven't tried any dual discs in my machine either. Yet me know if you figure anything out. Good Luck!

Try exporting a Master File with settings of Web Hosting and H.264. If it exports successfully, see if a manual upload works.
