Most rumors say that there will be no new hardware hardware introduced, only software, as Apple states on the page linked to above. Although recently there have been some photos of a next-gen iPhone surfacing. Personally, I don't think they are real, because most feature a larger screen in the same size body. (a smaller bezel) And, I think anyway, it doesn't look good. But, who knows! I guess that would be Jobs, Cook, and a few others.
Actually, I don't think we're supposed to talk about this kind of stuff on here.

I have just upgraded to 4.0.1 and in previous version my download window showed all the details you talk about but in this new window it shows me nothing and I have no idea where it is downloading to - can you help me?

IIn the latest version of Firefox I find I cannot find where any files I have downloaded have been put and I am not given any option about locatiob or opening. In the previous version of Firefox I didn't know where they had been downloaded to but at least I could see the fuile in the download window and open it from there. With this version of Firefox the download window in empty. So even trying to download is a waste of time

Don't know if there is an option make the download window stay up, but you can bring it back with Ctrl+J then right-click on the download to open the folder it was downloaded to.

As long as you're a current subscriber paying your monthly fee, you can download and use any and all of that software whenever you wish.

There are no longer any "Suites" with the Cloud. Web & Design, Master Collection etc are for CS6 and earlier. They do not exist with the Cloud (CC versions) subscription.
Cloud is either:
"Single App" (one software only e.g. Photoshop) OR
Complete (that's everything) OR
Photography Plan (Photoshop+Lightroom only)

Does anyone have ANY idea when the next update is going to happen?

I'm editing a wedding video now and am waiting for the new updates (especially the functionality between Speedgrade and PP) to drop. I had heard a few weeks back that they were going to happen 10/15 but that date came and went. Then at the Create Now tour they said "in the next few days", but that was nearly a week ago. Does ANYONE have the scoop on this? I'm chomping at the bit....

Yes Ben, pure speculation, and you know Apple has always been tight-lip about new products announcement.
But one thing is quite for sure is that right now this latest iMac form factor has been one of the most popular and successful model, and it would probably stay for a while, we may only see internal enhancements like faster processors, bigger hard disks etc.

Well its been about 7 weeks - Any news on a 8800Gt for 1st gen Mac Pro's ?

It was January when the masses were pacified with the announcement of a 8800gt card for us old timers - you know those super out of date , non-upgradeable video 1st mac pro's .....
Why are we being ' dead ended ' like this on video ? The 7300 and 1900 are not at all ' modern ' video cards - why are we being treated like this ? Did we do something wrong ? Did not enough people buy the first gen mac pro ? I the first gen mac pro so under engineered it cant handle the 8800gt or ati2600 ? (2600 is not officially supported by Apple for older mac pro's) ....
Why did my Mac Pro have slots ? Next time just solder the video on ... because thats what I feel like you did to me Apple...... Thanks alot....

I have the Itunes.msi file it asks for, but what network are they talking about as I am not on a network with WIN XP SP3

When I try to install the newest Itunes, I get a message saying that it cannot find Itunes.msi. I have that file in the Apple updates directory and I point to it.
After hitting enter, it comes back to the same question with the implication that I am not on the right network. I am not on any network. Please help

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
