Whats happeming to daily ranking

Dear,
I am posting this thread after being so much depressed. Score at SDN has never been a source of motivation for but last 30 days top contributor at ERP FINANCIAL forum is obviously a source of pleasure for me and my mates. What i observe daily is that after 24 hours my contribution ranking gets deducted automaticaly (please note that overall life time score remains same) . I would like to give you an example yesterday my ranking score was 696 and total life time score were 1609 but when i see them today life time score are same but my ranking score has declined to 636. Why is it happening to only me, other contributor on the forum remain unaffected. Their daily ranking remains intact. Why me? I am very demoralized due to this strange system behaviour. No doubt knowledge gained at SDN has no match but still i want to know why is it happening to me. I will wait for modertaors detailed reply.

What's the problem?
Say between 01.06.2011 and 30.06.2011 (inclusive), you were awarded 600 points, then on 01.07.2011, you'll see a ranking based on 600 points. Assume that on 01.06.2011 you were awarded 100 points, and that on 01.07.2011 you were awarded 2,.then you'll se a ranking of 600 - 100 + 2 = 502.
The clue is in the ranking title - the last 30 days. Anything gained more than 30 days ago won't be included. What were you expecting to see?
It's basic maths.

What happened to my "rank" and or "custom avatar, profile info, etc....

At some point in the past... right around the time this board got it's new facelift, my "rank" went away... my post count was demolished (had well over 400) and a lot of my profile info disappeared as my custom Avatar i loaded to it.
what gives?

Your post count, as well as your level status, is still on record somewhere.
The new Discussions software is just not able to display it at this time.
The number of posts you have showing in your profile, is indicative of your posts currently online.
The new system doesn't have the custom avatar capability. No one can use them at this time.
These issues are being dealt with by the Hosts and Sysops.
At this time, no one knows when and if they will be resolved.
The Search function still is operational.
I did a search using the terms post count level avatar, which produced 34 pages of results.

What's the detail ranking policy of podcast?

Hello, I have a question about podcast ranking.
my podcast (in korea) suddenly decrease 40 rank in podcast ranking. (in 2 days)
However, we record even more traffics in this 2 days, and attain same amount of reviews and point.
so I am very awkwarded. something was wrong.
what's the problem? anyone who know about it?

I'm afraid I don't know anything about that - I'm not even sure that Apple have ever issued any information on how this is done.
It's apparently been suggested that the rankings are based on the number of new subscribers: if you Google on 'iTunes podcast rankings' you will come up with a number of articles and comments, but for all I know these may be just guesswork.

Lumia 800 PAYG what are these daily £1 charges?

I would like some help with my Nokis Lumia 800
Ive set up the WiFi entered in my key etc etc ( and yup it is switched on,) yet every day (while i am at home) i see a pound comes off my credit, i thought maybe it was because i was opening my phone while i was still in say my mailbox and in those seconds i was connecting to wifi i was being charged, but even left in my home sceen i still get the charges....but then my mailbox is constantly being updated .....
how do i avoid these costs without buying conracts
i assumed it would be like setting up my I pad (at home at least) set it up & good to go with no more charges????
I am with o2 and they sell cheap £3.00 month bolt on which gives 100mb (????is that right????) data with no wifi? Huh i thought wifi was free

Wifi and mobile data are separate ways of connecting to the internet. All you need to connect via wifi is a working phone and a usable wifi point; there are no charges unless you're using a commercial point such as a hotel. Mobile data is subject to whatever charges apply under your phone contract.
You'll need to ask O2 what the £1 charges are, but I suppose it could be that you connected via the mobile network instead of wifi. Unless you want permanent connection to the internet for some reason (do you really need to read your emails as soon as they arrive or examine Farcebook every few minutes?), why not keep both wifi and mobile data switched off until you need them? You can then choose how to connect depending on whether you're by a usable wifi point. Saves battery use also.

it used to be right under the list of packages on the right side.. (update your mirror) something like that..

Hi Suresh,
Few of daily activities in which you as a Basis Consultant should involve are as below:
- Day to day system administrative issues raised by users e.g. User ID locked or new SAP ID creations etc.
- Daily watch on background batch jobs. If any job failed due to some reason, work on it to avoid such failure in future with the help of function consultant
- Watch on system performance
- Authorizations & Roles definitions & assignements depending upon requirement.
- System Backup depending upon business requirement
- Printer setup in SAP
- Watch on Print spool to avoid failures in SAP doccuments printing
- Watch on interfaces (IDoc/EDI etc), if any, with external system
Also talk to your earlier or senior Basis consultant to know more.

Daily ISO Snapshots ?

What happened to daily snapshots ? The last snapshot is 5 days ago on April 12th.

I had random installer errors with ISO's from 2nd to 12th.

Support Issues
1. tRFC-
Solution: Contact BASIS team and enquiring about RFC, transfer of I-docs Info, We can also check in BD87
2. Delta Corruption
Solution : Some times delta gets corrupted due to some reasons, we have to re-initialize our datasources
3. Extra Charcters
Solution : Maintain ALL_CAPITAL_PLUS_HEX in RSKC, RSALLOWEDCHAR in SE16,
RSKC_ALLOWED_CHAR_MAINTAIN in SE38
4. Transaction Log Full
Solution : Contact BASIS team and ask them to clear the transaction log
5. Wrong Date Format
Solution : We have to identify the erroneous record and edit in PSA and upload again
6. Conversion Exits
Solution : Sometimes we get data into BW in a different format, If possible try to edit in source system and reload again
7. DSO activation failed due to inconsistent requests in Database tables
Solution : At times, we delete requests from DSoO/PSA/CUBE, but in the backend tables, requests will be still lying.
We have to delete from the database tables
8. Source System was not available
Solution : When BASIS team carries out some maintenance activities, our source system will be under their usage.
Ask them to make it free
9. Delta records missing
Solution : Due to some reasons some records will be missing in delta, then we have to do "Repair Full"
10. Could not find Code page for recieving system
Solution : Again RFC/IDOC problem, Contact BASIS
11. Caller 70 missing
Solution : We have to re- start our data load whenever the source system load is less
12. Timing out of queries
Solution : Check out the Aggregate valuation, If required we have to drop the existing ones, create a new one with High val

How to get Header Column Content based on MIN or RANK

I am trying to grab the header content based off of the lowest of three values.

I tried VLOOKUP and MIN and RANK. And is its easier can I just rank the with the column header in each cell?
Like:
Company X - $1.00
Company Y - $2.00
Company Z - $3.00

I'm still not clear what this result is ranking, jj. That's partly due to the sample data in your table:
The results shown are both the rankings of the prices in row 2 and the rankings of the lowest prices in each column. Which is it you are looking for? I've assumed you want to compare prices in each row.
Second complication: In the column 1 header, the content is "Price Company X"; in the Example of last Column, the resulting text, which you want picked up from that header is "Company X".
While that's not too difficult to pick off for the examples, where each 'company name' has exactly 9 characters, the simple solution won't work for 'real' companies. Placing the exact text you want copied into this row would simplify the task. See example below.
Third complication: Although A2 on your sample shows "1.00", the actual content of the cell is "1", and the ".00" is added to the display by setting format for the cell. When picked off by a function, only the value is picked up, and it's that value that's available to the formula constructing the text string in the last column. I've avoided that by placing the company name and the price in separate cells.
Formulas:
Auxiliary table: A3: =SMALL(Main :: $B3:$D3,COLUMN())
Fill right to column C. Fill Down to row 12 (to match Main table's data rows).
Main Table: F3: =Auxiliary :: $A3
Main Table: H3: =Auxiliary :: $B3
Main Table: J3: =Auxiliary :: $C3
Construct each of these three separately.
Main Table: E3: =LOOKUP(F3,$B3:$D3,$B$2:$D$2)
After clicking Accept, Copy cell E3, then select and Paste in G3 and I3.
Pasted formulas will be the same except for the F3 reference.
After placing these formulas, select cells E3:J3 and fill down to row 12.
The Auxiliary table is used to sort the prices, and may be hidden. It may also be eliminated by replacing the formulas in F3, H3 and J3 with
F3: =SMALL($B3:$D3,1)
H3: =SMALL($B3:$D3,2)
J3: =SMALL($B3:$D3,3)
Formatting will need to be reset for these columns.

Why does Rank() have gaps and Dense_Rank() not have gaps in ranking ties in rows?

Then encircled rows in the Rank / Dense_Rank examples below have ties for TotCnt. Ex1 (using Rank()) has ties for TotCnt=19 and TotCnt=20. Then TopCustomers rank jumps from 4 to 6. In Ex2 (using Dense_Rank() for same set) has the same ties
but the TopCustomers rank goes smoothly from 4 to 5 and so on incrementing by 1. Why is this? What is different from Rank() vs Dense_Rank()?

DENSE_RANK() "Returns the rank
of rows within the partition of a result set, without any gaps in the ranking. The rank of a row is one plus the number of distinct ranks that come before the row in question."
Basically, DENSE_RANK() counts the number of distinct ranks prior to the current one, and adds one to it to determine the new rank.

What is the difference between program RSWWWIDE and WORKITEM_WRI?

Good day.
I want to implement a daily housekeeping job for Workitems (BPE Workflow messages).
As per my understand, I can use the programs below for this purpose.
RSWWWIDE - can delete workitem with status (WAITING, READY, SELECTED, STARTED, ERROR, COMMITTED, COMPLETED, CANCELLED, CHECKED, EXCPCAUGHT, EXCPHANDLR)
WORKITEM_WRI and WORKITEM_DEL - can archive and delete workitems with status CANCELLED and COMPLETED.
With this, I have the following questions.
1. Can anyone confirm if the above description of the programs are correct?
2. If RSWWWIDE can delete workitems with status COMPLETED and CANCELLED, so what is the purpose of using WORKITEM_WRI and WORKITEM_DEL?

Once more: Do not use RSWWWIDE. You can use some permanent and serious harm.
If you really want to delete work items, then the only way (that makes sense) is through data archiving (transaction SARA) and using archiving object WORKITEM. Archiving relates to WORKITEM_WRI nad WORKITEM_DEL. But from my point of view, you should try to use the standard data archiving process (through SARA) instead of perhaps trying to call these programs directly, or?
By the way, what is actually your requirement? What is your "daily housekeeping job"?

Hi,
I had a similar thread posted some time back ... From the replies and my experience let me tell you that doing a pro active monitoring in Java server is not defined it is more sort of reactive monitoring.
Meanwhile you can get your system to SAP standards and recommendations. There are lot of notes on the Parameter settings and version recommendations. Try to follow that and keep your system in par with SAP recommendations things should be fine then.
