Right now I am playing Final Fantasy X... yes.. an old game..... it's taking a long time to complete it. Before it, I played Mass Effect 3. Very nice game! Love the story! A lot of action and drama too. Recommend it to FPS and RPG gamers! Love the graphics too! Lady characters are very sexy! I think I'm in love with Miranda :p I'm also playing a little BF3 from time to time. I'm planning to go back playing MMO but can't decide what to play yet. I played Dragon Nest but got tired of it...

Yeah StarCraft 2 looks awesome. I think I did play the first installment before I started working. I would like to finish the story. Been a fan of it since the first StarCraft... I'm kinda in a need of advice right now. I'm tired of playing single-player games right now like Final Fantasy, ME3.. I still have Alan Wake and Max Payne 3 that I haven't touched yet.. I feel like going back to MMOs.. any good suggestions? I feel like playing Guild Wars 2 but I'm reluctant since it's kinda old now and getting on top of the ranks should be harder for anybody entering the game right now.. Hmmm.. any other suggestions?

Hi, can anyone help me further diagnose?
On Windows 7 64-bit, whenever I try to sign into Visual Studio Community 2013 I get a bunch of clicking sounds, and then "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."
I installed the 2013 update 4 just recently (3/23)

Based on your issue, I suggest you could try to use an another microsoft live-in user account to sign in the Visual Studio Community 2013 to check if you can sign in the VS2013 Community with update 4.
Or you could try to use same user account to sing same version of VS2013 Communty with Update 4 on other machien and the check if you can sign in this VS 2013 Community with update 4.
(1)If you could sign in the VS2013 Community update4 by the another user account on your machien, I think that the issue maybe related to your user account.
(2)If you still could not sign in VS 2013 Community update 4, maybe you will need to repair or re-install this VS2013 Community with update 4.
In addition, please tell me what browser you use on your machine.
If your machien just insatall other browser such as chrome, please try to install the IE and then check this issue again.

Can't login to hotmail on only firefox - "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."

I have cleared cache and cookie and keep getting this message when i try to log into hotmail. Only happens in Mozilla, not other browsers. "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."
It's been 10 days and nothing works.

It is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted if clearing cookies doesn't work.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

IE11 Microsoft links - "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."

I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets this error.
I use Windows 8.1 and many time when I try to access a KB or a Microsoft link I get this error:
"Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."
it can happen either if I search something on google or enter a link inside Microsoft\TechNet\MSDN etc...
when I try to open the same link on Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox - it opens immediately as expected!
I know IE opens my sessions with an integration to my Microsoft ID, though I don't see any reason why it will block me from entering Microsoft links
any ideas?

Yes. Infuriating symptom. I'm still working on the hypothesis that is related to my accounts' credentials. I have not yet resorted to using Credentials Manager to completely deleting everything there. I have an idea that this atrocious
UX (It gets even worse if you try exploring the other options.) may be a really obnoxious hint to try changing my passwords, e.g. since I recently upgraded to W8.1 from W8.1 Preview. I contacted MS Support but their only suggestions were: to
do RIES (e.g. since the symptom shows on my browser, it
must be the browser that is the problem and ignoring my explanation that I had already proven that existing Cookies could not be the cause); try using a different browser (which I don't have yet because of the new OS); and then if that doesn't work try
to refresh the OS! (Talk about sledge hammer solutions to avoid doing diagnosis.)
A workaround is to open a new session where I won't be logged in and then I can just use the KB URL anonymously. (E.g. in IE press Alt-F, i. InPrivate Browsing mode (Ctrl+Shift+P will probably work too.) Annoying but not as irritating
as that damned UX.

I try to download some items. I keep getting "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."
I was logged in to Live, but somehow it is getting lost. I have tried both Chrome and IE. Is there something wrong at MS or with my account? Also, it took me 15 minutes to find anywhere to submit a problem or question...very frustrating.
It kept sending me to self help where none of the options were relevant.

What gives you the right to do this to people? Firefox's abuse of my time, patience and computer's resources such as: memory and CPU power!

First and foremost, I need you to understand that over the years I have not only come to heavily rely on Firefox myself, but highly recommended Firefox to literally thousands of people in the course of my work.
The reason for this is very simple... Firefox fast became the most fantastic, configurable and versatile yet highly user-friendly, internet browser in the world! All due to its great: speed and reliability, as well as, crash resistance and economical system resource usage, to name just a few factors!
This is why I'm so upset with you! You establish yourself as the best and then one day just stop being excellent, and start getting worse!
So what have you done?
Ever since version 4, Firefox has progressively regressed in performance and reliability! Firefox is now incapable of running on my computer, without hanging with the CPU power of this quad core machine maxed out! The consequence this freezing has is either: immense frustration on my part right before being forced to kill the process that is not responding from the task manager, or Firefox eventually crashing on its own!
After being so fantastic you start doing this to people? How can you justify this at all?
I am seriously thinking about moving to Google Chrome if this doesn't get resolved ASAP! What do you think about that?

How much data is being backed-up from each Mac? (see what's shown for Estimated size of full backup under the exclusions box in Time Machine Prefs > Options).
Is there any other data on your Time Capsule, besides the backups?
Most likely, there just isn't room. Time Machine may be trying to do a very large (or full) backup of one or both Macs, and can't. Since it won't ever delete the most recent backup, there has to be enough room for one full backup plus whatever it's trying to back up now, plus 20% (for workspace).

I web is making my life **** right now......

OK I designed my website on 06 iWeb and then upgraded everythihng went fine. I then stupidly screwed around in my computer and had to re install my operating system. My old site showed up on imac and in my domain but I could not touch it. So, I redesigned my site hit upload and now......when you go to my domain www.genreinc.com it says the site is coming and the ftp is incorrect. When I click on the new pages published to .mac I get oops the owner of this site has incorrectly uploaded. I changed my cname at godaddy to say web.mac.com and put in my url www.genreinc.com. What is going on?

It happened suddenly. After that, I reset computer to an earlier date. Did not fix problem. I reloaded Internet explorer, Version 8. Did not fix problem. I can access Hotmail from another computer without problem. I think I changed something in tools that might have caused the problem. All fixes and virus checking are up to date.
Appreciate any help you can provide.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

I install Gnome and Gnome Extra with pacman . what I must do right now ? do I need need remove KDE completely and all delete all packages are depend on KDE or no ?
can I have KDE packages and Gnome3 packages in one system . Or I have remove some packages , because of conflict ?

desm0tes is absolutely correct. This system has KDE, Xfce4, Awesome, e17, lxde.
How do you start your kde session? If you are using kdm, it will find gnome the next time you start it. You can select the session you want from the kdm login screen. If you choose to change to gdm, it will find kde as well. If you use startx from the console and need some hints, let us know.
