Hello Everybody,
Can Please somebody tell Me Whats the Right Configuration for a Photographer I am Into Photography and Have to edit files (Photos ) upto 35 - 60 Mb size In Photoshop CS4 or Phase One Software which itself takes about 1GB of RAM I think Is The New 20" iMac 2.66Ghz with 2Gb RAM enough or do I need a 4GB RAM ??? This is the first time I will be going for a Apple Product so have no Idea about the System Please let Me know as Soon as Possible

I think any of the current models would be up to the task. But since you are a pro photographer, you might consider NOT getting the base line 20" model and instead upgrading to the 24" model. Not only do you get a bigger screen to work with when editing your photos, but it also comes standard with 4GB, twice the memory of the 20" model.

All three TF will be dropped to the page as Regions in a Webcenter Portal Application. Changes in TF1 should propagate into TaskFlow 2.
Question:
1. How do I configure that changes in TF1 would be propagated back into task flow 2 and 3 and whats the best option for this?
2. At runtime, user can choose to edit the page and TF2 and TF3 can be deleted but TF 1 should remain as the source of information.
Given the scenario above:
- shall I wire the taskflows via page parameters?
- contextual events?
What are the considerations that needs to be thought of. I havent done such requirements before.

Contextual events seem to be the best case.
This way you can trigger whenever you want. Web services can be slow so you can trigger the event when the gathering of the data has been finished and then pass some value on the event.
An event also has a payload so it's an ideal scenario to add the data from the service on it so you can use it in the other TF's.

The latest anorexic iMacs just announced do not even include a CD drive! Proof positive that Apple virtually prohibit the use of DVDs - although the newly announced Mac Minis do include a Superdrive.
Yet, they still include iMovie! Heaven alone knows or understands what you are supposed to do with your newly edited masterpiece - except make a low quality version for YouTube?

What version of Premiere Elements are you using on Mac?
Export your Timeline content to a .mp4 file, using export settings which have been customized under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of the export's preset.
See Publish+Share/Computer/AVCHD and .mp4 category. The exported file is then uploaded to YouTube at the YouTube web site.
If you post the properties of your source video and project settings, I will suggest the settings for the Timeline content export to file saved to the computer
hard drive for upload to YouTube at the YouTube web site.

As you posted it sems that you need good router for wireless connectivity .....
You can go for any N router lile WRT300N.... WRT350N ..... WRT150N ....
They will give you excellent performance for the connection you require.....

no, that's incorrect.
you can activate on 1 mac and 1 pc, or 2 pc's, or 2 mac's, concurrently.
i have cc installed on 2 pcs and 1 mac. i can only activate 2 at any one time which works well for me because my pcs are at home and my office and i use them most of the time.
but when i travel i take my macbook so i just deactivate one or both of my pcs (uninstalling is not needed) and sign in to my macs cc app.

You don't need to do much of anything to get good performance.
Once you've gotten use to it, and paid down a bit, shop for more RAM, check for what type and size of drives, and do make sure to include backups and maintenance.

What is the best configuration for 2 AP's Broadcasting? same SSID/channel?

So i have 2 WRT54G version 2.0 wireless routers. They are not doing DHCP for my home network, i have another device (Sonicwall Firewall) that is taking care of that. Originally I had 1 wireless router (acting as just an access point, but I now have an additional one and want to add it to extend wireless coverage.
My question is this. How do i make it so that laptops can roam around my house and switch from AP to AP depending on which one has the best signal? Is this possible?
I figure that i would have to obviously disable DHCP on each router. But what about SSID's. Can they be the same? What channel should i use, the same for both, or different channels?

For a roaming network both access points must have the identical SSID and identical security settings. Regarding the channel it is difficult to say. They should be different as broadcasting on the same channel creates interference. Better whould be to use non over-lapping channels, e.g. channel 1 & 6. The problem, however, are the clients. Some clients have difficulty with roaming across channels.
I had two access points with channel 1 & 6. My laptop worked fine in all locations with interruption. However, my WiFi-IP-Phone had troubles. It seems to search the channels from 1 up, thus I was able to roam from channel 1 to 6 but never back. The phone just disconnected.
So, I would recommend to use different channels and test if your clients can roam without problems. If you'll find that one does not properly work try to put them on the same channel. Also: be patient when changing the configuration. I would even recommend to power cycle the router after each change of channel as well as the client. In the beginning I never did that and very often it did not work in the beginning but after an hour it work. I suppose this was because I was using WPA2 and some problems due to the rotation encryption keys WPA2 is using...

Netgear Stora, what is the best configuration for smooth operation

I have a Netgear stora, and I know how to configure the best possible way this system for Mac NAS. It always gives me problems and the NAS system invites me to visit the Apple community.
In Windows XP system and Windows 7 works correctly.
Can you help please, I do not know if you need another type of program, or if my mac must have a particular program to work or any particular update, since this update to version 10.7.4.

I seriously doubt that there would be. My 2.16Ghz iMac is plenty fast and I doubt that most people would be able to tell the difference between it and the 2.33. By FAR the most important upgrade is RAM. Don't get the extra RAM from Apple though -- it's too expensive and the RAM is easily upgradeable. Buy it from Crucial and install it yourself. I got 2 gigs from them for $85 plus shipping. Just remember, there are only 2 RAM slots so if you want to max it out at 3 gigs you will have to get a 2 gig stick and a 1 gig.

I have a Refurbished 2011 21.5" iMac. It came with a 1TB HDD. I had a 120GB SSD custom installed by Other World Computing. I would like to reap the speed benefits of having the OS and applications reside on the SSD and having most of my heavy, frequently used data on the HDD. I've considered simply going the route of changing the advanced settings of my user configuration so that my home directory is located on the HDD. I've read this is an ok solution, but that there may be better ways to do this to get the best out of the available speed of the SSD. Could anyone recommend better options?
For reference, I use apps like Photoshop Lightroom, the NIK suite of photo editing applications and Photoshop CS6 pretty heavily. I don't do much movie editing or production...only occasional slideshows in iMovie...although I do keep a lot of old, imported, video footage of my kids on my HDD and on my backup system.

Please, can someone tell me if the limit of storage the originals through a data carrier is two for document or i can to large this limit? 'Cause i know that using Kpro i don't have limit of storage, but i'm trying to use the data carriers 'cause i just have a place in the company server for storage this originals.
I'm trying to send the originals from a path like this
abcs01\dms$\ through of a configuration "servidor, front ends", but i'm not get to send the originals from CV01N for this place, even the document been save. I verify that the documents were not sent when i enter from the CV02N in the same document and try to change or screen the originals, 'cause i receive a error message saying that the SAP doesn't get to find the originals on the path indicated.
Did someone just work on a likely situation?
Did someone have a view about the best way to storage this documents in this case?
If the best way will be KPRO, Do I use KPRO with the Content Server or KPRO with storage the documents in a SAP table through of the standard system aplication "DMS_C1"?

Hi,
The decision to go for either content server or vault depends on what data will be stored. If you are storing drawing data it is highly recommended to go for content server.
For vault storage performance issues are reported.
DMS_C1 is IDES based BSP database repository. It is useful only for dev/testing.
You will be required to create storage repository for CS.
If you have server available when you insert content server CD inside it, it automatically asks you for maxDB database instance creation. As you click on next it will take you further to create maxDB instance. K-Pro is service on web server. It is used to manage the checkin-checkout and other functionalities of the CS server data.

I'm ready to take the Wireless plunge. After reading about several Linksys routers, I'm not sure which would be best for me. (I tried to do an advance forum search but it wasn't working).
My Main Desktop is used for online gaming, a secondary Desktop (6yrs old) is for my kid to play online at PlayhouseDisney.com (not very demanding), and my wife will use a laptop for general internet surfing and such.
Which Wireless router will best meet my needs, and will I need something to make that old desktop (Dell Dimension 4300) wireless too? Budget less than $200 total. If possible.
I'm also interested in an External hardrive for saving large files, photos, etc. Can this be shared on the network with all 3 PC's?

i think your'e looking for a wrt300n router. i have this kind of router for 6 months now and it works great. it can run up to 300 mbps of speed which a lot faster and you can have a wireless connection as far as 300 ft. regardless of the interferences.

I have no idea what biosversion that is the best in general for OC the K8N Neo2 P.
I use 1.5 and it´s the only version I´ve used.
I believe not many people have tested OC potential for all 6 versions 1.0 - 1.5.
( even more if you include the beta´s).
I would say OC potential depends more of what hardware you are going to use.
Good RAM and a good CPU stepping are in most cases more important then biosversions.
