Whats the use of tracking tab in UWL?

Hi,
might sound stupid question but could someone help me to understand the use of tracking tab in UWL? What is the use of this tab or what is the purpose of this tab? can this tab be used for deleting task assigned to someone else?

In Purchasing, the term Confirmation is an umbrella term for various kinds of information provided by a vendor to a customer with regard to ordered goods.
Possible types of confirmation include the following:
Order acknowledgments
Loading or transport confirmations
Shipping notifications. (Note that shipping notifications may also be referred to by a number of other names, including "advice (note)", "advice of dispatch", "ship notice", and "advance(d) shipping notice" ("ASN").)
A further form of confirmation frequently used in Purchasing is the Inbound Delivery, which is created on the basis of an incoming shipping notification. The shipping notification represents a vendors confirmation to a purchasing organization of a delivery date for a certain quantity of ordered materials (or the date of performance of ordered services).
You can enter incoming vendor confirmations manually. Alternatively, you can receive them via EDI and have them processed automatically.
When working with vendor confirmations, you have the following options:
You can enter the order acknowledgment number if you simply wish to provide a basis for monitoring the receipt or non-receipt of acknowledgments.
You should enter the confirmed quantities and delivery dates if you wish to provide more detailed information in support of the purchasing, inventory management, and materials planning/control functions within your enterprise.

The reports can be scheduled for later, which can be monitored(download previously run report/re-run).

then in GLOBAL DATA -
we decalre the internal table
T_CHG_TEXTS type table of ly_chg_texts.

Contents of Tracking tab in UWL

Hi experts,
In the tracking tab in UWL, I only see the workflows started by me.
But I would need workflows apporved/actioned by me as well.
Please let me know how to configure this.

Hi,
That won't happen in tracking tab. You can see the completed tasks by selecting "Completed tasks" (I cannot remember the exact word that they are using) from the dropdown menu in the Tasks tab.

Opening application from Tracking tab of UWL

Hi All,
I am editing XML to open WDA application from "Tracking" tab of UWL .
But when I click the link of tasks on "Tracking" tab , explanation of the task is displayed by popup .
I want to open WDA application which displayed data gotten from SAP by workitem ID .
On task tab , links of "Task" tab work collectly , display the WDA application and passed workitem ID .
My procedure is described below .
1. I added the entry at SWFVISU to output the WDA application from "Task" tab .
2. I downloaded uwl.webflow.UWLSETXXX.XML file .
3. On the XML file , I copied entries made by the first process , and I modified the source .
I update just name and defaultview .

after: <ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.WS91000001"
I had seen UWL support Information of "Tracking" tab items .
Item type of "Tracking" tab is like "uwl.task.webflow.WS91000001" . It does not contain system ID ".UWLSETXXX" .
It is difference "Task" tab and "Tracking" tab .
- defaultview
before : defaultView="DefaultView"
after : defaultView="WorkItemRequestsView"
4. I upload the XML file as the new name "uwl.webflow.UWLSETXXX_new" .
5. Clear cashes .
I notified that there is not "Item type configration name" in UWL support information of "Tracking" tab .
But UWL support information of "Task" tab has the data : uwl.webflow.UWLSETXXX_new in "Item type configration name" .
Does it matter ?

'That XML Thing' , its the definition of your report, criteria panel, views on the results tab.

First of all, you're OT.
Second, you can find this everywhere in the net.
If you got a manifest declaring main class (an classpath if needed), just create a file named whatever.bat, within same directory of jar file, containing:
javaw -jar ./WhateverTheNameOfYourJarIs.jar %*By the way, assuming a Windows OS, you can just double click the jar file (no batch is needed).
Otherwise use:
javaw -cp listOfJarsAndDirectoriesSeparedBySemiColon country/company/application/package/className %*Where 'country/company/application/package/' just stands for a package path using '/' as separator instead of '.'
Don't specify the .class extension.
Javaw only works on Windows (you asked for batch, I assumed .BAT, no .sh), in Linux please use java.exe (path may be needed, Windows doesn't need it 'cause java's executables are copied to system32 folder in order to be always available, see PATH environment variable if you don't know what I'm talking about) and use ':' as classpath (cp) separator.
The '%***' tail is there in order to pass all parameters, it only works on Windows, refer to your shell docs for other OSs (something like $* may work).
This way you have a command you can call to launch your code (instead of opening NetBeans just to see your app working). You could schedule tasks on it or just call it in any command prompt (hope you know what it is 'cause there have been people in this very same forum with no clue about it, if not just hold the 'Windows button' and press 'R', then type 'cmd' and run it).
Finally add dukes and give 'hem away.

Table is apart of data dictionary.
Table is a sort of container where we store data.
For eg. you want to store customer record in the database.Now you will store that customer record against specific fields of the applicable table.
You can create or see table by means of transaction code se11.
There are 3 typesof tables available in SAP ABAP:
1. Transparent table
2. Pool table
3. Cluster table.
Transparent Table:
A physical table definition in the database for the table definition which is stored in the ABAP Dictionary for transparent tables when the
table is activated. The table definition is translated from the ABAP
Dictionary to a definition of the particular database.
Pooled table:
Pooled tables can be used to store control data (e.g. screen sequences,
program parameters or temporary data). Several pooled tables can be
combined to form a table pool. The table pool corresponds to a physical
table on the database in which all the records of the allocated pooled
tables are stored.
Cluster table:
Cluster tables contain continuous text, for example, documentation.
Several cluster tables can be combined to form a table cluster. Several
logical lines of different tables are combined to form a physical record
in this table type. This permits object-by-object storage or
object-by-object access. In order to combine tables in clusters, at
least parts of the keys must agree. Several cluster tables are stored in
one corresponding table on the database.

You do not have much choice:
From the JLS (9.3):
"Every field declaration in the body of an interface is implicitly public, static, and final. It is permitted to redundantly specify any or all of these modifiers for such fields."
Note from this though that you do not have to explicitly declare a field in an interface as public / static / final if you dont want to - if you leave it out the field is implicitly declared with these attributes.
So you could wite:
public interface SirInterface {
public int HeIsActuallyPublicStaticFinal = 1;

You create and distribute a model in BD64. The details of that are stored in this tables.
A model gives you the details of the sender / receiving systems and what are the message types that are getting transferred between these systems.
Regarding the IDOC segments issue, can you explaing how are you triggering the IDOC and which message / idoc type you are dealing with.
