Whatsapp and ipad problem

i bought whatsapp messenger and tried to download it then i found out that its not used for ipad ....
then every time i open itunes on my PC it keeps on trying to download ...
How i completely delete it and stop it from keeps timing out ??

    Hi. I've been using E63 for the past 3 years. And had whatsapp installed for more than a year. Recently, my phone started slowing down terribly. At first I thought it was a memory problem. So i cleaned up my phone. Also did a hard reset/soft reset and all. Updated software. Nothing has worked for the past 3 months. After my phone would slow down, I'd usually remove my battery/sim/memory card and try restarting it. It worked fine for a few weeks. Now i have no other apps installed and the moment i install whatsapp, my phone stops working altogether: becomes slow, cant read texts/missed call notifs/etc. The moment i uninstall whatsapp, everything works fine.
    What seems to be the problem? Please help immediately.

Consequently, give us the the note/warning/error you are facing in WhatsApp and in Email.
    Because this might relate to your Internet configuration of the overall phone, which network operator do you use? I need this, because I have to figure out the access-point name for you. Then we can go for Nokia » Menu » Tools » Settings » Connection » Access points. Please, delete all except two: your Wi-Fi and your current network-operator’s Internet. If you do not find the latter, remove everything and go for Options » New access point » Access point name» there you enter the name you found at the above APNChanger website. Now, try again.

  • I'd like to debug and iPad problem joining a wireless network. Is there anyway to debug the network / system calls made while access an SSID?

    We have multiple 802.1x networks, where iPads on occasion are unable to connect. There is no apparent contact by the 802.1x supplicant to join the network, and the usually the network settings both on the iPad and in the wireless systems works. So it doesn't appear to be configuration related. I'd like to debug the network protocol stack on the client, or look at iPad system logs to determine what is going on when an iPad refuses to join a network. Thanks

    Yes they are centrally managed via cap/wap using PEAP/WPA1. The problem is that when this problem occurs none of that protocol is executed as far as I can tell. Hence digging into a debug log might provide a clue.

  • WhatsApp and Shortcut problem

    I just updated my X7 with Belle and everything seems to be fine except 2 things.
    1) Whenever I try to send a message through my WhatsApp Messenger keeping my phone horizontal,it just doesn't go.I mean I can type the message but I can't send it.And when I keep it vertical and press Enter,it goes.
    Please help me with that.
    2)Swiping down brings out the connectivity shortcut on the screen.But when I swipe up,it doesn't go back.When I keep the cellphone horizontal and swipe up,the connectivity screen goes back up.
    I don't really know what to do.

  • Wi-Fi and iPad problem

    My iPad is showing a connection with my computer and my computer is also showing a connection with my iPad but Safari says can't open page because it is not connected to the internet. And under general on the iPad it shows Network Not available of corse the computer Intel iMac 10.7 is connected and working OK.

    When I try and get an internet address through my iPad Safari says "Cannot Open Page because it is not connected to the internet" But everything seems to be showing OK my iMac is connected to the internet and showing my iPad connection and my iPad is showing a connection with my iMac.

    I am new to this community even though I have been a Apple user for years, so please forgive me if this question is not in the right section.
    Has anyone encountered drastic shorter battery life both on iphone 5 and ipad since updating to iOS 6.1.2? I've always been happy with these two products until the update - now the battery life is considerably shorter which is extremely frustrating.
    How can this problem be solved? Is there any way to go back to the previous version?

    If you update using iTunes the phone is first wiped clean, then the new OS is installed, and finally the backup is restored. After this finishes if you sync your music should be restored. Music is not in the backup, because it is already on your computer and duplicating it would use up a lot of hard disk space.
    An OTA update just patches what has changed; it does not disturb content.

  • Problem with iPhone and iPad keyboard shortcuts

    When I try to access the keyboard shortcuts in either my iPhone 6+, iPad 3 or iPad Air, the sequence Settings>General>Keyboard>Shortcuts causes the devices to go back to the Home Screen.  I spent several hours in a chat with Apple Support, had to go through an iTunes back up on the iPhone and restored it to "new phone" and it fixed the problem on the iPhone, but not on the iPads.  Chatted again today with Support, tried hard reset (press both buttons till Apple logo appears) on the iPad 3 and I could access the shortcuts.  Did the same on the iPad Air with no luck.
    Now, one hour after second Support chat,  none of the devices can access the shortcuts.  There must be a problem with iCloud for this to be happening on all 3 devices.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Same problem also and if I restore both the iPhone and iPad as new I
    lose a lot of progress in my games.

  • Mail on iMac not accessing MS Exchange server but both iPhone and iPad access the same account with no problems.

    I have been using an iPhone and iPad to access my work emails via our MS Exchange server for a number of years now with no problems at all.  I recently replaced my home PC with an iMac (first Mac I have owned) but cannot get it to communicate with the exchange server.  I've checked and re-checked the information on the iMac and my iPad - I even deleted the mail account on the iPad and input the details concurrently with setting up on the iMac - but the Mac will not access the exchange server.
    I receive the message "The Exchange server "---------------" rejected the password for user "------"  Enter you password again or cancel."  I am using the correct password.  iPad and iPhone are logging on using that password fine.  iMac just ends up repeating this message.
    Our IT support at work assure me that there is no reason from their end for it not to work, and reasonably point to it working using the iPhone etc.
    I'd be extremely grateful if anyone can provide a solution to this basic, but extremely frustrating, little problem.

    iPhone and iPad use a different way of accessing the server.
    I don't know the exact details, but we are using Zarafa instead of Exchange and have the same problem:
    iPhone and the likes can connect to Zarafas z-push interface, which is some identical interface to the native Exchange interface, while the desktop e-mail application tries to interface with the web front end (via http) of the server.
    These are completely different setups and it depends on the actual installation of the server to get this going.
    So, you will most likely need different access parameters for the desktop - and the web mail feature has to be enabled on the Exchange server.
    In my opinion using the web mail interface is just silly. On the other hand, the native protocol has less features comparedto the web front end, so you are somehow stuck with sins of the past.

    Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
      Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
    Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
    Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
    Settings>FaceTime
    and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
    Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.

    No. I've been using the same Apple ID on my iPhone and iPad for years without problems. If fact, if both devices are yours and you use both devices having the same Apple ID on each of them is preferable.

However, there were problems with duplication of calendars and then “rogue events” – which could not be deleted – even if deleted on Outlook and on the iPhone (or both at the same time) – they would just reappear after the next synchronisation.  All other synchronisation areas (eg Contacts, Notes etc) work fine.
    I have looked for help through the Apple Support Community and tried many things.  I have repaired my Outlook. I have repaired my .pst file in Windows. I have re-installed the latest version of iTunes on my PC. I have re-installed the firmware on my iPhone. I have tried many permutations on my iPhone. I have closed down all Mobile Me functions on the iPhone. I have spent upwards of 24 hours trying to solve this problem.
    What am I left with? Outlook works seamlessly on my PC. My iPhone calendar now has no events from  my calendar, but does not synchronise through iTunes. Nor does it send events initiated on the iPhone to the Outlook. I am at the point of abandoning iPhones and iPads altogether.  I need to have a properly synchronising calendar on my phone.  Do you have any suggestions?

    In the control panel goto the "Lenovo - Power Manager" and click the battery tab, there is a maintenance button in there that will let you change the charging profile for your battery.   (from memory, so exact wording may be off)
     The lower the numbers you use there, the longer the battery *should* last.    These batteries degrade faster at higher charge levels, however storing them at too low of levels is also not good for them... I've read that 40% is optimal, but just not realistic if you use your computer.

  • My macbook pro can see my home wi-fi network but cannot connect to it.  My iphone and ipad are connected to my home wi-fi so the problem is not the modem.

    Wow, I tried to submit this as a problem and the computer lost the wifi connection again, so i lost the whole explanation i typed up. 
    I've turned off computer and modem multiple times.
    When I tried to run the network diagnostic, the macbook pro gave me a "perhaps you are out of range error".  I am sitting next to the modem.
    My iphone and ipad are wonderfully connected to the home wifi network, so it cannot be the modem/router, correct?
    If I am on the same floor as the router/modem then the macbook pro can see my home network but after tyoing in my password and trying to connect i get a "timed out" message.
    If I move down one floor, then the macbook can see and connect to the wifi.  I only have one modem on one floor.
    Is there some sort of diagnostic I can run to see why this particular device (macbook pro) is behaving ths way?  It just seems weird because the computer could connect to the wifi network yesterday while i was sitting next to the router. 

    SOLUTION! 
    I've been suffering from this problem for a few months.  I tried everything suggested by everyone, and then, today, I had a mad idea. 
    I used to work in a room in the house that's about 12 metres away from the router. It's on the next storey up and horizontally about 8 metres away.  The problem started when I began to work in the same room as the router. 
    Today I became so frustrated that for some reason I walked into a room about 8 metres away on the same level - Guess what?  I connected with no problem at all. Feeling full of joy I walked back to the room where the router is located - Dropped internet connection within a few minutes!  Walked back to the the room that's 8 metres away and, hey presto! I have a connection. I now realise that the problem was that I moved too close to the router.
    I can think of no logical explanation for my experience, but empirically it seems to work.  Does anyone have the faintest idea of why this should be the case?  In the absence of an answer I think I may have to start believing in fairies at the bottom of the garden - I'm just off to set a meal for them.
    By the way, I don't know if it has any significance, but the router is a BT Infinity router that has replaced the incredibly unreliable Virgin Media cable connection
