No it isn't possible, you can only lock your entire phone by setting up a four digit passcode.

IM+ and other chat Apps

Got my iphone yesterday.
I downloaded ebuddy to play around with, which was ok. When I run the program in the background the message popped up my main screen to let me know I had a message. Which i think is pushing yes?
However I then brought IM+, it now even the the programs stays logged in (well kinda maybe thats pushing) but now I wont the messages dont pop up on my main screen and i wont get them till i phsycially login into the application. Which is annoying.
Orginally I thought it was im+, but when i tried again witg ebuddy i had the same problem so I guess the iphone settings.
Anyway Ive looked through all the settings and I am lost
Any help?

If Push notifications are included/provided/supported by the app developer for a particular app, you are prompted to enable Push notifications the first time you launch the app. If Push notifications are included/provided with an app, you can check which type of Push notifications are provided by the app developer with the app at Settings > Notifications. Activation Limit for BlueFire, OverDrive and other reader apps.

BlueFire, OverDrive and other reader apps for iPad uses Adobe ID authorization for each app. There is a limit of only six activations and each reader app counts as a new activation and if I exceed six activations I would get too many activation error. Does deauthorizing these apps credit back the activation count or only erase the activation from the device local storage? If I install both BlueFire and OverDrive I'll burn two activations. Is nokia working on this ???? how long the users must wait for the app. its already two months from the launch of the phone.
Please dont say to contact the application developer whatsapp regarding this. Because Nokia is unitedly working with whatspp to make the app available for its devices so why dont nokia request whatsapp Inc, to develop the app for asha 501 as many users are requesting it ??????? Nokia is'nt bothered about it ??? If so why did nokia announce that :whatsapp and many other apps explore nokia asha 501 " in the press meet ????

VOIP may be supported in 501 but not sure. The developers of wechat and line might have specific reasons best known to them for not giving an calling option. So most probably i am not expecting a voip option in whatsapp.
And for resolving contact sync its taking long time and devlopers are working hard and now they may not dare to handle voip also !

Can you tell me how can i block all websites from a network except a few of them using a Linksys wireless router?
Also, i need to block several ports used for Skype and other chat apps.
I want this solution to work for the whole network. Not using windows policy or other ways where i'd have to go to every single computer.

There's a way on how to do that but it depends on the model number of your device. What's the model number of your router anyway?

Looking at the details for this mic, it appears that the app has to have the option to use the internal specak when a mic is plugged into the headphone jack. Specifically:
NOTE: When MityMic is plugged into your iPod/iPhone you won’t be able to use the onboard speaker for sound output. You must remove the MityMic then play back your recordings. (The Skype app has an option to enable the onboard speaker even when the mic is plugged in, so you could use MityMic for placing Skype calls. However most other apps do not have this function.)

Is there any internet speed test app for Asha 311? I tried the speed test from http://bsnlspeedtest.in but the result was very high. I have Airtel 3G and it always shows 3.5G.

If you want to check the max speed of your phone internet there are two methods.
1.
Check the speed in kbps while downloading any file using UC browser. Get UC browser from Nokia store or via www.ucweb.com
2.
Connect your phone as a modem to your pc and use any pc web browser and check the speed at http://speedtest.net or any other sites.

At present, the twitter for nokia app 1.2 supports push notifications.. check the settings in push notification app...
