Whatsapp messages keeps on deleting automatically after restart.

I am facing a problem recently. When I restart my phone after a long shut down the whatsapp looses its old messages. Everytime the phone is restarted the whatsapp is like new no messages. Searching about it for a while but cant find any solutions. Please help.

That's not normal behavior. Have you tried any of the user troubleshooting steps as outlined in the manual? Restart, reset, restore, restore as new?

I have a problem with my MBP.
One day something weird started happening. Every time I would copy / save / download something on my desktop it got deleted automatically after a few seconds. On very very rare occasions this would not happen.
This has been going on for 3 months now and I haven't found any sollution. The last option is to format and reinstall Lion but I hope there is a faster/better solution than that.
I have a 2011 15-inch MBP with the up-to-date Mac OS X Lion.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Third-party system modifications are a common cause of usability problems. By a “system modification,” I mean software that affects the operation of other software -- potentially for the worse. The following procedure will help identify which such modifications you've installed. Don’t be alarmed by the complexity of these instructions -- they’re easy to carry out and won’t change anything on your Mac.
These steps are to be taken while booted in “normal” mode, not in safe mode. If you’re now running in safe mode, reboot as usual before continuing.
Below are four lines of text in monospaced type, which are UNIX shell commands. They’re harmless, but they must be entered exactly as given in order to work. If you have doubts about the safety of running these commands, search this site for other discussions in which they’ve been used without any report of ill effects.
Some of the commands will line-wrap in your browser, but each one is really just a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then either copy or drag it. The headings “Step 1” and so on are not part of the commands.
Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. The other steps should be taken as the user who has the problem, if different. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this paragraph doesn’t apply.
To begin, launch the Terminal application; e.g., by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search. A text window will open with a line already in it, ending either in a dollar sign (“$”) or a percent sign (“%”). If you get the percent sign, enter “sh” and press return. You should then get a new line ending in a dollar sign.
Step 1
Copy or drag -- do not type -- the line below into the Terminal window, then press return:

Post the lines of output (if any) that appear below what you just entered (the text, please, not a screenshot.)
Step 2
Repeat with this line:

This time, you'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. You don't need to post the warning.

Emails get deleted automatically after 2 weeks

My emails are getting deleted automatically after 2 weeks. I have important emails that I cannot retrieve. I changed setting to never delete but it keeps deleting. Also I called about the issue and It was never fixed. I cannot be loosing emails. Especially that this is an email address that everyone knows for me.

Do you have the account enabled on more than one device or computer? If so, the retention settings on that other device will override the settings in Comcast preferences.

ERROR MESSAGE AMT : CANNOT DELETE TOKEN AFTER IT WAS ASSIGNED TO A ROLE

We are working on the setup in our sandbox environment and we have noticed that we are unable to delete tokens and remove the protection on BO's.
the following message appears : "CANNOT DELETE TOKEN AFTER IT WAS ASSIGNED TO A ROLE"
There is no Token assigned to any role anymore and we have also removed all rules and so on, Still it remains impossioble to remove the token on a protected BO or to remove the protection of a BO.

If you had pop and now want to use imap you need to create another (new) email account in Mail.
When you start creating a new account, press the option key when you click the Continue button and you will be given the choice of creating the account for pop or imap.

How to keep my created network after restart

my mac mini is just used to be connected to a videoprojector. so i don t connect a screen or mouse, keyboard or else.
i have access to it through the wireless network i created on the macmini.
but if i restart the macmini, the network is gone and i have to connect mouse keyboard, sceen, to re create the network!
my problem is that i only have access to my mac mini by wireless network . but i don t want to share internet access. just have a network between two macs , to access to one with share screens.
If i create a network, and then restart, the network is gone. it disappears.
so if i restart my mac mini via screenshare , there is no network. and i can t have access to the mac mini anymore.
how can i keep this created network after restart?
i tried to make it work with automator but kind of didn t make it to work

Do you keep other settings (e.g. in Options) that you make in Firefox?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Networked computer will not join network automatically after restart/sleep

Situation:
I've got two computers - PowerBook 17" 1,25 GHz, iMac 2,16 GHz 24", both running OS X 10.4.8. They are networked via AirPort Express, firmware v. 6.3, in a WPA protected network. The AirPort distributes ADSL 4 Mbps connection.
Computers are set as DHCP with manual address (to keep stable LAN address)
The problem: While the PowerBook always joins the network after restart/sleep automatically, iMac in such a situation never goes online - the airport status in menu bar is on, the network is checked, but it cannot connect or be reached.
I always have to manually turn airport of from menu bar, then turn it on, then wait about 20 seconds and then manually choose name of my network.
After this procedure iMac is finally online.
Settings of the AirPort are:
AirPort tab
Wireless Security: WPA2 personal
Channel: Automatic
Mode: 802/11 g/b
Internet tab
Connecting using: Ethernet
Configure: Using DHCP
WAN ethernet port: Automatic
Network tab
Distribute IP address unchecked (no difference when checked - tested)
Any idea how to fix it?

You pointed me to the exact answer.
iMac joins the network automatically now, although I had to change original automatic login of an admin user to manual login page, because after automatic login as one of three users, an error message "Network error" appeared quicker than the actual joining the network, that came a few seconds later.
After manual logging (it probably needed a little more time) it's OK.

How can I configure Messaging Server to run automatically on startup?

In most cases, Messaging Server for UNIX will run at startup automatically.

Most UNIX systems have a start script that includes a line that starts sendmail
as a server (/usr/lib/sendmail -bd) automatically.
Howver, when Messaging Server is installed, it replaces several mail utilities (mailq,
processq, and sendmail), with links to our sendmail binary
(<ServerRoot>/bin/msg/admin/bin/sendmail).
Therefore, Messaging Server, rather than sendmail, starts when
your system starts.

This can be confusing to administrators of other Netscape servers since
most other Netscape servers are not installed to start automatically.

Note:

This does not take effect until the system is fully restarted. After
installing Messaging Server, restart the system before attempting to start
Messaging Server. Sendmail is usually already running, and the installer does
not kill the sendmail process.

If you start Messaging Server without
restarting, smtpd will not start due to a port conflict.

I have tried the suggestion above (clear the "Run task as soon as possible after a scheduled start is missed" checkbox) and it does the trick for me. However on the Home/Get Started/Set up screen the "Set up Server Backup" task is then reset to outstanding
while the .../Quick Status screen shows "Server Backup ON".
Is a working work around till a real update or hotfix is released

Messages are being deleted automatically

We have been using TB successfully on Windows 7 for a couple of years having previously used Outlook.
My wife's incoming e-mail messages are being deleted after one month. They are also deleted from Webmail. The ISP says that they have not been deleted by the ISP but by a 3rd party program. We noticed the problem when searching for an old message. (I just checked using an old XP-enabled computer and all the old messages are there except nothing since June 25 2014.)
I noted this morning that all of my sent messages have disappeared. For the moment at least they are still on the ISP's webmail.
I checked our TB settings regarding retention and deletion, including those of 3 addresses that don't have the problem. They all look OK.
Can somebody please advise on what our next steps should be? Many thanks.

Hi,
System only takes automatically the Output message in PO in creation mode in ME21N ( Only if you have maintained the condition record MN04)
If you have not maintained Condition record in creation of PO also you need to maintain manually.
But once you changed the PO system will not automatically pick up the new Output message, you have to manuallly input the Output messages in change mode of PO - ME22N.
You can also use ME9F for this.

After running Magician app many files where deleted from my computer, nothing new, After restarting I received the language portion of when you first start to set up a new Mac. Except after the language portion it went immediately to 5 options; install back-up from Time Machine, Disk Utility, Restart from start up disc, etc. I tried doing them all. Disc repair, rebooting from TM, but I don't save everything from TM I use an external HD for backup. None of those options are working for me. Now I get a grey screen with a flashing globe for so many minutes then a folder appears with a ? In the middle of it. What am I to do? Can anyone help me, please!!!

I appreciate the extra forums you suggested I look into. I ended up forceing a Safe Mode reboot on my Mac holding the Shift key. I let the installation process commence and I'm back to the way things were.

Oracle related Environment Variables got deleted suddenly, after auto update of firefox. Please provide the reason behind this. Do you faced this issue earlier with other users?

IMac sorts Desktop automatically after restart

my iMac sorts my Desktop Folder almost everytime after I restart it. Why? And how can I stop him doing that?

It is already set to none as I'd like to put the folders where I want. But still, after restart the imac puts them all on the right side of the desktop. I'm getting tired to put them back where I want and the imac puts them back to the right

Deleted Messages show up in Outbox after restarting Mail

I am having a problem I've never seen before. Every time I open Mail (Leopard version), Mail tells me it is having trouble sending a message. Upon closer inspection, the message it is trying to send is an email I recently RECEIVED and deleted. For example, if I received an email from Bob, read it, then deleted it. The next time Mail opens up, Bob's email is in my outbox formatted as if I sent it. Luckily something in the message fails whatever check mail makes and I get an error. Otherwise, Bob's email would be resent and appear to make me the original sender. Weird. I tried repair permissions, and the rebuild mailbox command but nothing is making it go away. I will install an antivirus program I guess just in case there is some kind of virus in my machine but am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows what the problem is?

After removing the plist and allowing it to build a new one things seem really screwed up now. When I first opened mail it did present an error
Mail has found an existing mailbox named Outbox. This mailbox is now reserved for Mail's use during delivery. Your mailbox has been renamed to "Delivered".
I then had to reenter all my account info and after mail loaded completely, I'm guessing all the mail that was still stored on the server was downloaded again (224 messages). Prior to this I had my inbox cleaned down to about 10 messages but it downloaded a whack of them again. I tried deleting the messages but some seemed like they won't delete. There is an option to "Hide Deleted Messages" in one of the menus but this doesn't seem to be working.
I used to use Entourage which had a way to repair and rebuild it's database by holding down the option key when opening. Is there a similar procedure for Mail or what is the recommended procedure to reinitialize mail from scratch without losing my existing stored messages?

Images and videos keep getting deleted automatical...

Recently upgraded to symbian anna for my nokia N8, but keep having problems with it. All new and old images got automatically deleted. everytime I take new photos, they automatically get deleted as soon as battery gets low or cell gets switched off or restarted for any reason. what to do? please please help!! whats the use of 12 megapixel camera if cant store photos..

Im afraid it sounds like your device memory has corrupted, have you deleted or removed any applications or software on the device that may have caused this to happen?
The only way to fix this problem would be to do a hard reset, However before doing this go into mass memory storage and recover whatever image, video and contact files you can (I am aware that you said most of them are .lnk now), and try to manually back up your media and information that you would like to keep, also create a full phone back up using Ovi Suite (this most likely wont be used, because if you where to use this back up after the hard reset the problem would probably persist however its nice to keep it just incase!).
After doing a hard reset, put your phone back into Mass memory storage and manually put back your media and other information.
If your phone still isnt fixed, restore your phone using the full back up made in Ovi Suite, created before the hard reset.
If your problem STILL persists, You will have to take your phone to a local Nokia Care Point and have a technical expert take a look at it.
