WhatsApp/WhatsApp Plus is not working in my Nokia ...

I have been using Nokia X since last 3 months. I have downloaded whatsapp, used it. One day an error came, I downloaded WhatsApp Plus. It was working fine till yesterday. I had an updated version of WhatsApp Plus i.e 6.0
I updated it yeasterday itself... aftter updating I used it...then suddenly it stopped working.
I loved Nokia, always prefered it.
Now I just wanna know, whatsapp is going to work on nokia or not? Or should I accept that its over now for Nokia/Microsoft. Let's move on to Android Phone(The real One) ?
If there is any method to operate whatsapp, tell me?

Follow these steps carefully:-
Uninstall your whtsapp if you have installd it. set your system date to 26.04.2014 and restart phone, (unmark "automatic time zone and "automatic network time"), downld whtsapp(from nokia browser) from this link and install,
Now select your date to 26.06.2014 restart phone again, now while opening whtsapp you will get message like ‘your whatsapp version is absolete, click on ‘download’ option showing there then select your Nokia browser option (do not click on any other mobile market) after download completes go to your download folder and click to install(click on ‘OK’ to allow to replace your previous version of whtsapp) and get register and verify yourself. Now come back to setting turn your actual date and restart phone again.
Now, you can enjoy your whtsapp through fastlane (not from whtsapp icon)
Note: if you don’t have any message or notification on your fastlane and u need to open whatsapp immediate go to any contact and click on message and then click on whtsapp to get enter into whtsapp messenger.
if the message is coming like this "your device is not supported"
one other option:-
after installing all this what i said above.
you can download "whatsapp launcher for nokia x" from Nokia Store.
now by whatsapp launcher u can go to the contact list then select one of your contact...

Applications not working in my Nokia c3-00

The OVI store, whatsapp, Facebook, like these applications are not working in my nokia c3 model.
I had updated the software two times at nokia care but still I can not get a result.

Hi. It's best if you'll elaborate the concern. What do you mean by they are not working? Are you able to open the applications or not at all? By the way, make sure that you have a stable connection whether you are using WiFi or packet data. If you verified that the connection is stable, you can try to uninstall and then re-install the applications.
If above wouldn't help, you can try to restore the factory settings of the device. You can go to Menu > Settings > Restore Factory Settings > Settings Only. This will not delete any personal information but those settings you customized will go back to its default settings.

Have you tried opening the videos from the YouTube application too?
Is your device updated to the lastest version? If yes, I advise you to reinstall the software. You may update and reinstall device's software from the updates tab in Nokia Suite.

Plus sign not working anymore for distribution group

Without our Outlook client it was possible to make a New E-mail, enter a part of the distribution group, pressing control-k to force lookup the group and it was resolved. With the plus sign you can expand the requested ditribution group. Now this is not
working anymore. Does anyone know that there is maybe an option why this do not work anymore?

What does "Now this is not working anymore" mean? Does it mean you didn't get the Expand List warning or it didn't expand the distribution group when clicking plus sign?
Does this issue happen to all users and all distribution groups?
If you mean you didn't the Expand List warning, we can try this to get it back:
Open your Registry Editor and browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\xx.0\Outlook\Options\General (where xx is the version of your Office.)
Look for and open the PONT_STRING value, you'll see a list of numbers in the Value box. Remove number
13 from the list and test again.
If you mean that clicking the plus sign didn't expand the group, we may try to open Outlook in safe mode and test again. To do this, press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type
outlook /safe and press Enter.

Can you tell us what happens when you try to install using the installation cd, error messages, etc?
Try plug in your Zen V Plus to your computer, does it get detected?

A6000 plus wifi not working.

I bought my 6000 plus a month back but suddenly its wifi and data pack stopped working.Initially data pack too didnt worked but two days later after removing and replacing the sim it worked but wifi is not working.It shows connected but nothing happens.

I just just the 6+ and was having the same issues. VERY frustrating. Did a network reset and that didn't work unlike other suggestions. Finally reset my home router to WPA2 (AES) from WEP and so far so good. I had no idea what all that meant when I read this information on another thread, but I googled it on Wikihow and had to share that it is working for me. Good luck!

K8N Diamond Plus microphone not working

Thanks to everybody who helped me with my cpu power problem - the computer is up and running wonderfully now. The only issue that I'm experiencing, and I'm fully prepared to accept user error, is the fact that my mic is not working, or the levels are EXTREMELY low. I have an antec case, and I used the pin header on the motherboard for front panel audio which contains a mic input and a line out (For me, it's for headset convenience without having to remove my speaker wire). Since both the pin header and the connector conform to Intel standards, I think that's not the problem. I've used the drivers on the CD as well as the drivers on the Creative site for Soundblaster Live 24 bit. Both the front and rear connectors (and either version of the driver, for that matter) yield very low volume from the microphone. I *could* suspect the headset, but it's fairly new and worked yesterday, and also, the earphone portion seems to work correctly.
Since you'll want my specs:

Didn't seem to make any difference. I jumpered the pin header so that it was back to the way I got it out of the box. I even used a microphone for our camcorder, and that didn't seem to get any better result either. Very strange...........

When connected to computer it is not recognised and no indication in "devices".It has been working perfectly from Christmas until now. Was watching a TV prog via BBC iplayer when the image and sound froze for about 5 seconds then just white screen. Help

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

1. Make sure that the phone runs the latest software version. You can use Nokia Suite to check if there's software update available for your phone, refer to this link: http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/belle-asha-symbian-software-update/
2. Check the network quality. If the connection is poor the Store application or downloading applications may not work correctly.
Try to use alternate connection types such as WLAN, 3G or GPRS/EDGE. If there is still issues with network coverage, you must contact the network operator for assistance.
3. Clear the cached memory on the phone
Go to the device Menu
Select Web
Choose Options -> choose Settings
Click on Privacy data
Choose Clear Privacy data -> Choose Cache.
4. Uninstall and reinstall your Nokia Store application. for Symbian^3 devices can be downloaded also from http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3 directly to phone or download the package to your PC and install it via Nokia Suite.

-wap-input-format not working properly in Nokia 58...

I didn't know where to report this bug, so I'll try here.
When you create web pages for mobile use you can set various input formats in form elements.
This helps the user by setting up and validating input even before it reaches the server.
One of these is the "-wap-input-format".
I recently ran into a problem with at page that I couln't access from my Nokia 5800 and I decided to figure out why.
The page has an input field like this:
<input name="somenumber" type="text" style='-wap-input-format: "10N"' />
(Which basically tells the phone that in this field you can only enter 10 digits.)
However, even when I enter exactly 10 digits, the field turns red, and the phone refuses to continue until I "correct my error". The only input that the phone will allow is an empty field.
However... if the field is made like this:
<input name="somenumber" type="text" style='-wap-input-format: "NNNNNNNNNN"'/>
everything works just as it should.
But... the first type is also correct according to standards and should work too.
My phone has the V21.0.025 firmware. (and no new updates available yet for this product code.)
Does anyone know where this bug can be reported, or if its fixed in newer firmware?

The solution is NOT changing the webpage. The page already follows the correct standard!
It its the browser in the XM5800 that has a problem. My example clearly shows this. The phone acts inconsistent depending on the syntax in the wap inputfield. Both of the above syntaxes are supposed to give the same result. But one works, and the other, which is probably the one most often used, does not work at all.
Right now I use the Opera browser instead to access that page.(Because Opera does not have this bug.)
My post was simply an attempt to notify Nokia of this problem... Because I can't find any place to report bugs.
And at the same time ask users who have the newer version of the firmware, if they know if this problem still exists.

In the Forums it is said that the problem is with the unsigned midlet.AS some of the US carriers block the secure API usage
on Unsigned midlet.
But our question is, if we buy a code signing certificate from Verisign or Thawte and sign the midlet, will this problem be solved.
Any other alternative solutions for this ???

It's not my blog, but I pretty much agree with what it says. Unfortunately the network operators can control the access 3rd party trusted certificates have, so even if you sign with Verisign for example, the signed midlet may not have any more privileges than an unsigned midlet, depending on network. They do this so that only midlets signed with one of their own certificates have unrestricted privileges forcing anyone who wants a useful application to buy it from the network instead of downloading an equivalent freeware version from Getjar for example. Some networks are worse than others, so signing your midlet will allow it to work on more phones than an unsigned midlet. I think Verisign have some info on AT&T on their website.
The whole MIDP specification for security is a joke, IMHO. I don't mind unsigned midlets flashing up a warning once during an application. Writing 20 files, for example, will give 40 security warnings for reading writing data which is ridiculous, as the user obviously either trusts the app or he doesn't. No one runs an app that they only sometimes trust.
As far as I know the only mobile manufacturer so far to see sense is Sony Ericsson. All of their new phones from Java platform 7 onwards allow unsigned applications access to the file system, bluetooth etc with just one warning when the applications starts.

hi mate, have you also ensured that you are up to date with the latest firmware for your device, and if you already are, tried re-installing the current firmware thru Nokia Suite on PC?
