Whay does FF stop redirecting even when I say to allow
I don't pretend to know much about pc;s so my wording might be a little bit off but this is what happens.....
On a number of website I visit a drop down message appears saying that:
' FireFox has prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page"
I don't know what 'redirecting to another page' means but even when I say 'allow' FF doesn't do it.
For reasons to complicated to explain here, I find this very annoying.
Would appreciate assistance :-)
Ps: drop down menu below this box (This happened) should include the option 'often'

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

I understood your problem to be that Firefox never finished loading the page, i.e., some part of the page was loading too slowly.
By reloading, I meant Ctrl+r (or the reload button), to manually reload the page. You can disregard any cached files and reload all content fresh from the server by adding the Shift key, i.e., Ctrl+Shift+r (helpful when specific sites do not load correctly).
If the page is automatically reloading itself over and over, that sounds like a completely different problem. -

Go to Edit/Preferences. You'll see the checkbox option to play after render there.
Unfortunately, render applies only to the timeline. There is no way to render clips before you add them to a timeline -- except converting them to DV-AVIs before you bring them into your project. -
I told my wireless network to forget two airport expresses 1 1st gen, 1 2nd gen so that I could rename them. Then, it sounds like you have already reset the 2nd Gen Express, and now you need to set it up again, like you did the first time. Only, this time, assign the device name that you want to the AirPort Express.
Do NOT use the name that Apple suggests.....which will be something goofy like........Sueswimsf's Red Apple AirPort Express
Assign a simple name.....something like 2ndGenExpress -
Charging iPad 2 with IPod cord. Seems to be charging even when it say not charging in the upper right corner. Is it because I'm not using the cord it came with, and is it ok to use an iPod cord.
The dock connector to USB cables are interchangeable on the iPod and iPad. That's not a problem. You must be trying to charge using a USB port on your Computer. If the port supplies enough power, the iPd will charge albeit very very slowly - as long as the Computer is turned on and it is awake.
You should really use the power adapter that comes with the iPad and it will charge much faster. Using the iPod cord is fine - switch to the supplied power adapter for the best results.

It means that you get only one download of the movie per purchase, so once it's downloaded, you'd be wise to make a backup. Otherwise, if something happens to delete the movie, you'll have to buy it again.

app's will not install on my itouch because it requires a newer version of ipod software. even when itunes says it has the latest version of software.
How old is your iPod. You may be out of luck if it's too old for a current IOS...

Have you checked the execution plan if indexes are used?
You could update the data in chunks, e.g. 10.000 rows per execution. For this you have to add a TOP clause and a filter to update only those, who are not updated yet.

Fire Fox updates itself even after I tell it not to. The new version it updates to crashes, adobe flash player doesn't work on it and it takes forever to load when it does work. I have used fire fox for years now but if this keeps up I will find something else to use.

For whatever reason, there are situations where you do not want to update or download a large file, because you're working offline, have a slow connection, or have a very low download allowance etc. Usually the update doesn't work and cause Firefox to crash. After that it cannot be started again. This is with Firefox Portable but I think I've had this problem the normal Firefox. With the portable version I can just back up a single folder but it is still time wasting and annoying.
I've noticed that when I start Firefox with auto-update turned off, it changes the options to auto-update, it also does this periodically. So every time I start Firefox I have to turn off auto-update, and I have to do this from to time because Firefox will by itself turn back on the auto-update. -
10g doing VIEW type join even when no view in SQL - and performing poorly

Every once in a while I see CBO deciding to use VIEW type join even when there is no view in the SQL and whenever it does that the performance just sucks.

The whole schema was analyzed using dbms.stats only yesterday. My question is why is Oracle doing VIEW, and how can I stop it from doing that. Hint is not an option.I understand that SQL Developer takes it's NLS settings from Preferences - Database - NLS Parameters. What I was not aware of is that when SQL Developer is run for the first time the NLS Parameters seem to be populated from the settings on the OS of the PC it is running on. To test that this was the case I did the following
I work on a Windows XP system with Regional Options - Standards and Formats and Regional Options - Location set with English (United Kingdom) and United Kingdom respectively.
I unzipped two clean SQL Developer instances (both Version 1.2.1). The first instance I first ran under my current PC set up without importing settings from a previous installation. The Preferences - Database - NLS Parameters - Language and Preferences - Database - NLS Parameters - Territory had been populated with English and United Kingdom.
I then changed the Regional Options on the OS to English (United States) and United States and ran the second instance of SQL Developer for the first time, again without importing settings. In this instance of SQL Developer the NLS Parameters were populated with American and America.
When the first instance of SQL Developer was the checked under these OS settings the NLS Parameters were still English and United Kingdom.
I was not aware this was the case and, if my test is correct, it seems to contradict the SQL Developer user guide http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10405_01/doc/appdev.120/e10406/intro.htm#CHDBHCAG

LED won't stop flashing, even when there are no new notifications
The LED on my BlackBerry won't stop flashing, and I can't work out why. I have no new emails, messages, Facebook notifications, Twitter mentions, appointments/calendar events, and the LED didn't flash for new articles in the TIME magazine app any way. None of the other apps have anything to notify me of either.
I updated the OS some time ago, so I can't see that being the cause for the problem, which means I can not work out why the LED is still flashing, unless my BlackBerry is broken.
Has anybody else had this problem?
Running OS v4.6.1.310 (Platform 4.2.0.127)

Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, what color is the LED? Can you verify that the LED coverage indicator is disabled in Options -> Screen/Keyboard? Is the LED flashing red continually or does it stop for periods of time?

Why does my iPod Touch stop recording videos when it says low battery
OK I would record a long video, about 20 minutes to be approximate. In the middle of my recording, my iPod tells me my battery is low - I have 20% of battery left. But when the message shows up, it stops recording my video and shows a closed lens on the camera!!!
Then I have to force close the app then restart it. Then I have to make a second video. Is there anyway to tell the iPod Touch low battery warning to shut the f**k up and stop interrupting and stopping my recordings? It is VERY annoying. Please reply soon.Not that I know of. The 20% warning is like the low fuel light on your car's gas tank, it doesn't know when you'll run out of gas only that it's soon. The reason it stops what your doing is to protect the battery. I end up playing with it going back to where I was or trying to reload it and after a few tries it will let me go to the page i want and then it will do it again even if I'm not touching anything. What's going on? This has been happening a lot. I came to this page and it doesn't seem to be doing it with this but I can't say why.
