When asked to put my apple ID when purchasing an app the keyboard won't appear so I can't type it in. How do I get the keyboard to appear on my ipad?

IVe tried to buy an app from iTunes Store and the box appears to place my password in but the keypad won't appear so I can't type anything. How do I get the keypad to appear?
Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I used Organize Bookmarks to put some bookmarks in folders. When I had done all the bookmarks that appeared outside of folders in the Organize Bookmarks window, I closed it and looked at my bookmarks menu. Under my folders were some other bookmarks that I hadn't seen in Organize Bookmarks and when I used it again, they still weren't visible. Therefore, I couldn't move them into folders.
Update - I discovered that the entire list of bookmarks can be accessed in the Organize Bookmarks window by clicking on the icon for Bookmarks Menu.
This seem like odd interface behaviour to me.
All the other software I use follows the pattern that an icon with a triangle to the left, which you click on to expand the menu tree downwards, shows the entire contents of the category when you click on the triangle. In other words, you don't get a different response by clicking on the icon from what you get by clicking on the triangle.
It also seems odd to me that when an unsorted bookmarks folder is automatically provided that unsorted bookmarks would not be placed there by default.
Anyway, by getting the list of bookmarks displayed this way I was able to simply right-click on items in the list and delete them, as I thought I should be able to do. Problem solved. Organize Bookmarks interface found to be somewhat unintuitive. -
When I select an image in library mode the image I want it is shown. When I go to print mode a different image is shown. Why doees this happen? How do I get my required image to show and print?

If your iPad is unresponsive after clicking on an attachment and you cannot return to your email inbox, I recommend forcing the attachment and Mail app to close using this method:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app's preview up to close it.

Basically headline says it all, my phone is in recovery mode following a failed update through the phone and I want all my photos back. I have already read the "iOS: Unable to Update or Restore" and it indicates that when restoring through iTunes, you lose all data on the phone. I have checked my iCloud (I am a Windows7 user so uploading does not happen automatically, as I unfortunately just figured out) and it only will upload my past 30 days of photos and contacts, inline with what I've read about the cloud only storing 30 days of your past data. I really would like to get all of my photos off of my phone, I had photostream activated and most were in that stream. Is there anything I can do? I don't know what operating system is on there currently, but I have always updated my phone succesfully until today when this happened, so I'm assuming whatever is most up to date until today is the OS it has. Thank you!
When your phone is in recovery mode, it's like it crashed. The only way that you can get it out of recovery mode is by restoring, and this erases all your data as well.
You can believe what you wish by "reading all over the internet". This is Apple's technical support forum. We do know what we're talking about.
since you have very important photos on your phone, why haven't you been importing them to your computer as soon as possible after taking them? This is how the phone is meant to be used. Keeping critical data on only a device which can be easily stolen, dropped and broken is just plain foolish. Also, did you not back up your phone (as you should be doing with any computer) before attempting any operating system update? As you've now just painfully learned, updates do not always go as planned.
I'm sorry for your data loss, but let this be a very important lesson. BTW, when was the last time you backed up your computer? I'm sure you have important data on your computer. Hard drives WILL fail. -
My hard drive needed to be replaced on my iMac. When I try to move the photos from my portable hard drive back onto the Mac, they are small and can't be edited or made any larger. How can I fix them?

I originally didn't have enough free space to intall the new OS so deleted everything/songs and some podcasts in itunes, backed up on another ipod.that hasn'r been updated so not missing anything, but now can't access\ another new(old) ipod and iphone (and not anytthing now) that wouldn't work on the old OS. due to not having the required itunes upgrade and not upgradeable on 10.4xx
Thanks in advance.After reinstalling itunes like PowerBloodRespect said, go into itunes on your account and connect your ipod. On the ipod summary tab, uncheck the box to launch itunes when the ipod is connected.
You also might want to go into itunes preferences on both accounts.
On the Device tab, put a checkmark in the box to prevent ipods from syncing automatically. -

There is no limit to the number of iPods you can sync with one computer, iTunes library, or account. See this article for different ways of managing multiple iPods.

In the app store where it says waiting, do you get the option to "resume"?

I do not want to delete and reinstall all of the apps. How do I get the Apple App store to recognize my new Apple ID and apply it to all of my installed apps?
So I am using an iPhone that was given to me and it has been restored to factory defaults... However when I go to the AppStore I can still see what the previous owner had downloaded and when I try to download that app it gives me the message the OP had.

You can't create an iCloud account on your PC. You have to first create an iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or Mac (running OS X Lion or higher). After creating the account on one of these devices you can use the ID to sign into the account on your PC.

My old email was hacked so I changed it and closed the old email. I recently attempted to purchase a book in iBook where I found my iBook account blocked. I changed my Apple ID and password and verified the new email I submitted. I then tried to purchase the book using the new ID and password. The old ID continues to come up when I am asked for my password. (I don't remember the old password). How do I get the ID to reflect my new one? I can't download the book without fixing this problem. open iBooks, then go to the Store, down at the bottom there should be an Account button. click on that button, you should then be able to log out of the old account and then login on the new account.
