      Quit Safari.
Hold the shift key down and relaunch Safari.
    Empty Caches
    Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
    Best.

  • I'm trying to reverb an audio clip in my timeline and I can't find the effect tab in the browser to drag to my audio clip to reverb. I can reverb the clip in the viewer but can't it won't drag to the timeline. I'm using FCE

I'm trying to reverb an audio clip in my timeline and I can't find the effect tab in the browser to drag to my audio clip to reverb. I can reverb the clip in the viewer but it won't drag to the timeline. I'm using FCE

You cannot drag the effects themselves to the timeline.  You add them to a clip in the Viewer, just as you have done.
If the clip was already in the timeline when you  opened it in the Viewer (by double-clicking it in the timeline to open it in the Viewer) and then added the reverb effect, there is nothing further to do, you have added the effect to the clip.  You don't drag it back to the timeline.
You only have to drag the clip to the timeline if the clip was not already in the timeline (for example, if you opened the clip from the FCE Browser; or set different In and Out points in a master clip to use a different portion of the master clip in a different location in your timeline).
Depending on the effect you add, you may have to render the timeline after adding the effect.  But I don't think reverb requires immediate rendering.  One other note, you said you were working with an audio clip ... audio clips need to be AIFF (not MP3 or something else) and preferably 16-bit stereo.

  • Anyone have an idea why clips imported are silent half way through the clip? The entire audio can be heard in quicktime.

Anyone have an idea why clips imported are silent half way through the clip? The entire audio can be heard in quicktime.

Solved problem by converting to another file format.
The two that worked were .mov and MP4 that is .H264

  • Can I copy clips from one project to another?  The clips are still frames captured within a video event.

Can I copy clips from one project to another?  The clips are frames saved as stills from a video event.  I try the copy & paste but it does not seem to work.

The video was converted into MP4 and then I could get it into iMovie events.  I had right clicked and saved farmes as stills.  ABout 50 of them,  When I tried to copy and paste those stills into another project I couldn't. They came up blank.
I ended up going to a Genius appointment at my APPLE store this afternoon and was told that those "stills" aren't really anything. Not a .jpg or video, so the program doesn't recognize them.  So instead I'm using the Project with the 50 stills and copying other .jpgs and video into it.  (This is for a 1961 Class Reunion, so it's old stuff).  Seems to work so far.
So bottom line seems to be I can use these stills created from a video in the project in which they were created, but no where else.  Do you know a way around this?

  • I made a movie in iMovie then deleted the clips in it. I have reimported the clips in an event with the same name as previously and some clips in the movie are still saying source slip missing even though they are there. What can I do?

I made a movie in iMovie then deleted the clips in it. I have reimported the clips in an event with the same name as previously and some clips in the movie are still saying source slip missing even though they are there. Some clips are fine in the movie, but most are just black and when I hover over them, it says source clip missing. How to I fix this? Thank You

I did that too, then I did a migration assistant to a new Mac and ALL of my movies have Source Clip Missing now, even though the original clips are still in the iPhoto Videos.  I can stand to re edit one or two projects, but not ALL.

  • Premier 3.02 crashes when breaking apart transferred slide show

Following the instructions in a reply on the PS Elements forum, when I right click on the scene transferred from PSE to Premier Elements and right click in the menu to break apart the slide show for additional editing, after receiving a "low system memory" warning Premier eventually crashes. The error message is "Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe PE to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project."
    I'm running PE 3.02
    Vista Business
    3.00GB RAM
Video card AT1 Radeon HD 3450
    54.3 GB free disc space
No browser or Outlook is open and have even closed PS Elements before trying to break apart the Premier scene slide.
I have had no problems, warnings, or crashes constructing a 30 minute slide show in PS Elements.

    Gina,
    >Open Premiere then try to begin my project in from Photoshop and get the same issue. The message from Windows says shut down due to serious error.
It is not clear to me WHEN the failure occurs in this scenario. Does Premiere Elements start up OK? Can you open a new project in Premiere Elements? And does it then fail when you have do the Send of the Slideshow from Premiere Elements?
Or like the original poster on this thread, does it fail only when you attempt to Break Apart the slide show?
And also - have you deleted or moved or renamed any of the photo files or video files included within that slide show?
A more general question - have you previously done any projects successfully in Premiere Elements?

  • I am trying to convert a video clip so that i can slow down the clip speed, but i keep getting an error -34.  any ideas?

I am trying to convert a video clip, already in imovie so that I can slow down the clip speed, but I keep getting an error -34.  Any ideas?
    Thanks!

    Hi Russ,
Thanks for your response. I am not an experienced user of FC or other video editing software but if its that hit and miss I think I will go to the trouble of finding some better software - I have a busy enough life as is, I don;t want to get into second guessing what a software problem might be!
I have just successfully exported my video to a master file using one of the Apple codec options so it looks like it could be to do with the H.264 codec.  I am wondering if Apples Compressor software would solve this problem - the only way to try this it to buy it, there is not trial for the compressor app.  Any ideas?
    Thanks

  • Is there an easy way to copy a clip and stack it on top of the clip I copied it from?

I know I can copy it at the end of the sequence and then move it on top of the clip I want, but am thinking there MUST be an easier way.
    Thanks

    Yes.
Double click the clip in the Timeline and it opens in the Viewer.
Drag the Viewer clip to the Supeimpose area of the Canvas.
Make sure the Playhead is on the clip you require before starting.

  • Breaking apart a compound audio clip...

,,,removes all the video clips attached to it. What to do?

Compount audio track and video clips
    After audio clip broken apart

  • Filters gone after using "breaking apart" command

    Hi there,
I spent quite a bit of time enhancing my video with filters. Then I used the "Break apart" command (Cmd-Shift-G) on some clips in order to be able to work on the audio tracks separately on those clips. Strangely those clips seem to have lost their video filters! I think this is terrible. Any advice? TY.
    André Vanasse

Permanetly gone I'm afraid.... I learned the hard way too. When you break apart a compound clip, you are basically destroying it, not just "opening" it up. you have to double click it to "dive in" to the clip. I realize theres times when this isn't a good enough solution, only work around I have is to copy the clip before you destroy it, make your changes, then remake a compound clip and then "Paste Effects" this kinda does what your looking for. good luck!

  • Missing Video Clip Audio

I've made several slide shows with video clips (.MOV), however, I can't get sound from my most recent clips.  The audio works fine if I drag in an earlier clip.  All the .MOV clips (new and old) have audio when played in Elements Organizer.  I'm using version 9 of both Elements and Premier Elements and camera and computer are unchanged.  The only difference I can find in the video clips is a Properties-Metadata listing difference - the clip with working audio lists a DocumentID and has highlighted Video and IPTC; the non-working clip does not list a DocumentID and Audio is highlighted rather than Video and IPTC. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how I might get the audio working with these new video clips.

    Bill,
    Thank you for your reply.
The video file source is a Panasonic DMC-TZ3 camera I've been using for three years and has been the source for video clips for all my slide shows.
A typical file is 20MB and Quick Time movie.
I'm not sure what "Conformation process" is, however I treated the new "bad" files the same as the old "good" files.  Both have audio in Elements9 Organizer; but moved into PrE9 the older "good" file still has audio and the new "bad" file doesn't.  I didn't rush this process and have repeated it several times with the same results.  I also reinstalled Quick Time but no change.
I'd appreciate any additional guidance you have.
    Best regards,
    Otto

  • Quality of Image after Break apart

When breaking apart an image, there is sort of a 'residue'
attached to some parts where the image has connected.
Problem is explained with a picture below.
    Picture
The image was imported from a Photoshop CS3 document which
can be found here for you reference.
    Link
As you can see in the PSD there is no 'residue'.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

    Hi,
How did you import your image into Flash. Some times this
happened in the crossed sections of the PDS layers, try to expert

  • Red where clip audio should display. clips dont play.

I just reopened my fcp project only to find that it will no longer play. The music plays, but the clips apear blank with a thick red line underneath and from the clip selection menu they have yellow triangles with exclamation points in them by each clip. Any ideas? thanks

Where do the clips reside? Could they be on a disk that is offline?
Control-click on one of the clips in the browser and choose "Revel in Finder". What do you see? Post a screenshot.
