When browsing e bay my screen keeps scrolling down in a jolty fashion. Also an ad on every page i open. Can anyone help?

Well that is interesting. Amoung other things safe boot does:
-- check and fixes up your file system. The files system allows you to keep files on your harddrive.
-- Does all video rendering in software.
You could have a one time glitch or harddrive is slowly failing. If you never replaced the harddrive, it is time for a new one.
You may want to consider getting a new harddrive. The easiest way is to get an external drive. No disassembly of the machine is required.
You need an external Firewire drive to boot a PowerPC Mac computer [ a few G5's will boot from USB ].
I recommend you do a google search on any external harddrive you are looking at.
I bought a low cost external drive enclosure. When I started having trouble with it, I did a google search and found a lot of complaints about the drive enclosure. I ended up buying a new drive enclosure. On my second go around, I decided to buy a drive enclosure with a good history of working with Macs. The chip set seems to be the key ingredient. The Oxford line of chips seems to be good. I got the Oxford 911.

Lol, figured out the first part. Just for those who may be searching, when you click on the Display Preferences, and click on the arraingment tab... it not only shows where your two screens will be displayed, but the WHITE BAR at the top of one screen is the dock/toolbar. Click and hold to grab this and just slide it over to the screen you'd like it to be on.
You have to release it IN the screen box, not on top of it... and it should pop right over to the new (or old) screen. At any rate, you can put the dock on either (or any) screen that you prefer.
I am thinking of ordering more of these. Lol. 3 monitor setup seems like it would be crazy good.
Still looking for the answer to keeping the new 16" screen on the right without switching between screen #s with that... not expose... Lion feature.

Photo albums are not searched by Spotlight Search. Go to Settings > General > Spotlight Search to see and reorder the available search items.

i am so tired. Have used many hours now to find a way to get my fotos from my Iphone to my PC'er (windows 7). I have downloaded Icloud, but I cannot aktivate "foto" When I click on icloud there comes a window, where it seems that I can click on foto. But within sekonds the 3. (foto) possibility freezes and the vindow sort of changes: You can still se the choice "Foto" but it cannot be activated. Can anyone help, please!

You have a Combination BluRay and Surround System that includes WIRELESS Rear Speakers:

This could account for why the BluRay is generating interference with your wireless network signal.
You can go thru the process of changing the wireless channels and other changes to the Verizon Actiontec Router or hook up your old router which was working before you switched to FIOS.
FIOS has a Superior Product over any cable system and I would hate to see you leave over something that was out of their control.
By the way, looking at the picture of the rear connections for your Panasonic you would want to have an Optical Toslink cable go from the back of the Verizon HD Set Top Box (Optical Out) to the Optical In jack on the back of the Panasonic. This connection will provide you with Dolby Digital sound (If Broadcast by Channel) while you are watching TV. You may need to switch inputs on the Panasonic Remote to get this to work. You may also have an Optical Out jack on the TV that could be connect as well if you are using an HDMI Cable.
Your Verizon STB would be connected to the TV by either HDMI, Component, Composet, or Coax (Highest Quality to Lowest Quality). The HDMI would also provide sound to your TV so that it's internal speakers would work if desired.

I have just purchased my new Imac 21.5. I am trying to do an update my Iphoto through the app store but when i do it directs me to my Icloud. When i go to my Icloud there is no Iphoto app there to update. I have been trying to this update now for some time but with no success. Can anyone point me in the right direction to do this update. The update automatically came from the app store and i have sucessfully installed other updates before and never been asked this question. This update was released on the 16th of April. It is update 9.4.3.
I logged into the app store and went to Iphto and found the update.All good thankyou, but the same message comes up saying i need to log into Icloud.
Any further thoughts ? -
on windows 8, i try to sync my iphone to itunes 10.7 but a message keeps coming up that says... "iphone cannot be synced because a duplicate file name was specified" anyone help please?
Delete the iPod Photo Cache folder from the folder hosting the photos you sync to the device.

My ipod touch wont turn on, The screen is black and i tried to plug it inot my computer and it still wont turn on.. Can someone help me ?.
After charging for at least an hour I would try in order:
- Resetting the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home

When i open my laptop the screen just stays black, i have tried turning it on an back on and it will turn on to the loading white screen and then turn back to black. i have tried calling apple but there tech support is closed on a sunday here in australia. I got a 2000 iMac with OS 9.1. I do not have the disks for it. The person who gave it to me could not remember the name and password they gave it. When it comes on it goes to the welcome to Mac OS screen. It has hello Hilda and under that it wants a name and password. What can I do. I tried shutdown and restarting holding down the command and s key but that does nt do anything. Please help
You'll need some installer discs for it to do anything. But as old as that is it may not be worth the trouble. You may find some retail copies of OS 9.1 on eBay or Google. You can install OS X on those old machines, but the maximum version is 10.3.9 (Panther) which may be getting difficult to find.

When I try to access iTunes Connect I receive the following error: Your Apple ID isn’t enabled for iTunes Connect. Everything I have read says to use your Apple ID, which I have used. But I still cannot sign into iTunes Connect. I have enrolled in the iOS Developer Program and have received email confirmation from Apple Developer Program. I have contacted Apple Support and have not heard back from them yet and of course it is Sunday and they are only open from M-F 9-7cst. Has anyone else had this problem? What can be done to fix this problem?
I just had this happen to me too. I read that my apple id (the one that I couldn't log into iTC with) needs to have a credit card on file. So I opened iTunes, changed to my problematic account, which was brand new, entered a cc, and then went back over ot iTC.
I still couldn't log in. But I tried creating the account again, and this time, it worked. So I had to go back to the "front page" of iTC and start over after I entered a cc on iTunes.

Hi, I am trying to sync my sons ipod so he can upgrade his ipod without losing all his games but for some reason we keep getting the message that my laptop ( windows 7 ) is not authorized. In Itunes, under 'STORE' there is no option or drop down menu with the option to authorise this computer. Just want to get on with up dating his ipod. Anyone any advice ? Have been reading advice for ages nothing worked so far.
