When buying tickets through Ticketmaster an.d other vendors, the "security words" do not appear under Firefox
During the ticket purchase process, the purchaser is asked to enter two "security words" that are presented in a somewhat difficult to read (almost cartoon) format. My problem is that these two words don't appear even though the rest rest of the screen does. I must switch to Netscape or Internet Explorer which display the words.
If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images permissions.default.images

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

When I click "Buy Now" in iPhoto's book I get the following message: "Your book appears to have default text that has not been edited. Printed books will not include this text. Do you want to continue?"
How do I proceed? How do I identify which is "default text?"What version of iPhoto are you using?
Go thru each page, check the layout to see if there's a text box included on the page and make sure there is text in that text box. If not it may show the "holding" text like this:
If you don't want to change the page layout to one that only has photos and no text boxes just select that holding text and put a space in its place.

On new IOS 7, when I message contacts, it selects thier old contact number, despite the fact I have deleted/edited their number in my contacts list. Only by going through contacts, can I message the correct number. The old number does not appear there, so I am unsure where "messages" is picking up the old number, it doesn't appear that "messages" is synching with "contacts". Any ideas how to fix this?

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. When syncing my iPad Mini I notice "other" in the status bar. It is taking over 4gb of space. What is "Other" and how do I get rid of it.
Lock symbol is rotation lock : depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can lock rotation either by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. Hi! The "chapter" menu does not appear when I open a book in itunes. How can I make it appear? In fact, one time it did appear, but it seems to have been more of an incident.
Books are meant to be read on your Devices through iBook App and will not work on iTunes.

I downloaded AirPlayIt yesterday from the app store. It was on my iPad yesterday. Today, however, the app icon does not appear on my home screen. When I go into apps it is there but it doesn't have an "Open" choice. There is only a cloud with an arrow pointing down. When I click on the app it pops up but there is no open button. How can I remove it? Tapping it won't work as it isn't on my home screen.

When I sync recently bought albums to my iPhone I get duplicated tracks. How can I resolve this. The duplicated tracks do not appear in my itunes library, just on my iPhone.
It seems to happen with songs that were purchased before synchronizing the new iPhone
I will tell you how I fixed it.
Note: I have iTunes in spanish so I will try to translate and figure out the commands that appear on ITunes in english. I will put my translations into brackets. English is not my native language. I will do my best.
The workaround is:
1.- Dragg no working songs from iTunes to a folder on the hard disk. (Only for backup purposes)
2.- Deleted those songs from iTunes library.
3.- On the left panel in ITunes click on "Purchased" under the STORE option. All your purchased songs will appear on the right panel
4.- At the bottom and right there is the option : "Download Previous Purchases". Click there.
5.- Click on the option "Are not in my Library" (top right)
6.- The songs you deleted from iTunes will appear.
7.- Downloaded them again. (You have the option to download at the bottom right)
8.- Syncronize your iPhone and that's all. -
When trying to log into face time I get the registering device does not have appropriate credentials after I sign in, I have OSX 10.8.4 on my Mac Pro. I can log into face time without a problem using my IPAD.>
Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the issue is reolved. If there's no resolution after Step 3, post your results.
Step 1
Sign out of iMessage in the Accounts tab of the preferences dialog, then sign back in.

Log out of your user account and log back in.

Boot in safe mode and test, then reboot as usual and test again.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. -

A word document was emailed to me. I can open the document without a problem on my iPad 2. Is there a way for me to type on the document.... to fill out the form? When I click the fields, the virtual keyboard does not appear.
If you want to edit a word document then you will need an app on your iPad that supports word so that you can copy them to it via 'open in' e.g. Apple's Pages app or a third-party app such as Documents To Go or QuickOffice HD
