When calling the slider are hidden

Yesterday I made the new update for blackbery classic
Now I have the problem that when you receive a call, the two slider (Green button - red button) are barely visible on the touchscreen and I still can not accept telephone calls. At the bottom edge you see the two slider, but it´s not possible to use it, calls can be accepted only via the keyboard.
before the update, there was not this a problem, is this a problem known and can anyone help?

Hi @planettimo
This is by design and expected since the Classic has dedicated hardware keys for answering or declining a incoming call. This functionality cannot be changed so I will pass along your feedback that a ‘slider’ should be shown in additional to using the hardware keys. Thanks!

In your first post you mention you have done a reset and a restore. Those are the last two processes in the user troubleshooting. If those do not work, then the last thing is to go to the Genius Bar. You say you went to Apple and they opened the phone and re-seated the connectors? That sounds unusual, because if there was a hardware issue,they would replace the hardware. You say you cannot get a replacement, is that because you are out of warranty? An out of warranty replacement is only $199 plus tax. It seems to me since you mention the fact you need to press hard to get the screen to react there is something going on with the hardware. If this problem has been going on for over a year, have you been reporting this to Apple. You say you cannot get a replacement and you are on the second phone, I wonder why they are denying you a replacement. Is there something you are not telling us??

At the risk of stating the obvious, is your first slide highlighted before you hit play? You mentioned the last blank slide shows up which could mean you have that last slide highlighted. If the last slide is highlighted and you hit play then that is the slide that will show up and if it's your last slide that is all you will see.

Go to preferences, slideshow, and check the box "Scale slides to fit display."

Hi Ersin,
Exception 1 would seem to be FORMATTING_ERROR, which suggests something in the design of the Smartform. However, that doesn't fit with the form being generated from a report, but only erroring when called from a function module. I can think of no reason why the different calling method would be a factor.
When FORMATTING_ERROR is raise it should also set a message ID and number, are you able to determine what they are?

How can you reinstall SL on a older mini, I just upgraded to Lion .Since I downloaded it, I made a disk copy for the future when all the kinks are work out. But would really like to go back to SL for now. I tried my reinstall disk, which didn't work.

I have an older Mac mini using SL as my last upgrade and really like it.. Just last week I upgraded to Lion, and do not like it,,,I would like to reinstall SL but do not know how to go about it,,,I did burn a copy of Lion and will reinstall it when all the kinks are worked out..Can someone tell me how uninstall Lion and reinstall SL.....Thx

Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files.

I just wanted to provide an update to this. I did find a work-around for this, but I cannot explain it. The post I added to a related thread on 23 Sept. 2009, Trying to change the data source for a Crystal Report. (thread 1472257), explains a work-around I found for that problem. It seemed to resolve this one simultaneously.


I don't know why it works. If anyone has a comment or some insight, it is welcome. Thank you in advance.

Netweaver throwing following exception when calling the ProductionOrder WS

Hi,
when calling the ProductionOrder web service I get the following exception from the system:
nested exception is: com.sap.engine.services.ts.exceptions.BaseSystemException: Exception ( SAP J2EE Engine JTA Transaction : [0ffffffaa60fffffffe00103e] ) in rollback.
The system was migrated from Netweaver CE 7.1 SP4 to SP5 before the error started to occur.
Any ideas how to fix this? Start/Stopping ME didn't do the trick.

When editing my photos in albums (in 9.4.3)I enter descriptions and locations. I have had 2 iPhoto crashes and when reopened the descriptions are gone. Locations survived. Can I get them back? Or do I have to do over?

it's just another View for your tabs which needs less *space* in the taskbar, but same *memory* of your computer.
exception: if you (re)start FF and restore the last session (with lots of tabs/groups) there is an option in FF-Settings to load the (content of the) tabs only as soon as they are clicked, and not as soon as FF starts. That trick saves memory.

I am running a Labview 6i under Linux (kernel 2.4) and I have Error -1073807343 when calling the open visa function. I have verified the name of the session (GPIB0::9::INSTR), and I can communicate with my instruments with ibic.
More informations : I use NIVISA 2.5 and nigpib-0.8.2. I have downloaded the lastest drivers of my instruments but it doesn't work better.

We've had several NI-VISA releases since 2.5 - so I suggest you upgrade to NI-VISA 3.0. While there isn't anything specific to your type of problem in the Linux version of our readme.txt, I know we've made a number of other fixes.
While the most recent release is NI-VISA 3.1, I still recommend you upgrade only to 3.0.
This is because NI-VISA 3.1 requires the new NI-488.2 release for GPIB-ENET to be installed (even though you aren't using that product). This is due to some internal rearchitectures, and the PCI-GPIB product is not released. If you do want to go with NI-VISA 3.1, the new NI-488.2 release for GPIB-ENET on Linux will still work with the PCI-GPIB beta driver that you have installed.

I've noticed on my new ipad 4 that many images when on the Internet are blurred and low resolution why is this? Because if you go on apples website everything is crystal clear????

When using my new ipad 4 retina display when on the Internet many of the images are blurry or low resolution? But if you go on apples website everything is crystal clear?? Why is this?

Ebay images look fine on mine. Image zoom doesn't work, but that's not suprising. I also support a number of public and private websites wth a number of images (some pretty large). Those look fine as well. If the Apple website looks good, there is no raeson other sites shouldn't as well.
For eBay specifically, I'd recommend using its app, but in general, you could try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

Object Referenced Error When calling the Windows Form during Runtime

Hi,
I am getting Object reference errors when running windows form during runtime. In debugging mode in MS Visual studio 2005, I am not getting this error. I'm calling the window form from menu and called the window in a thread as suggested in one of forums . I don't see anyone in the forum mentioned this problem I have. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Below are the error and code samples.
