Hello ... first of all i am very enjoying to be Nokia account...i want to ask that i have Nokia C6-01 ... and updated it and get Nokia Belle Refresh ... i have 2 questions to you...can you give me more information about it...
1)why we can not slide to unlock or slide to answer ... when will we do with belle???
2)today i read about Nokia Belle news i saw that there is new Nokia Belle Feature Pack 2 ... when can we get it???or will be update in C6-01??? which models will be? can u tell me what is the new in Nokia Belle Feature Pack 2 ??? Please help me ...bye

Hi hi,
No your device will not receive Belle FP2, that is only for the newer Symbian^3 devices, therefore N8, E7, C6-01, X7, E6, C7, 500 etc will never receive Belle FP2, only the newer ones such as the 808 PureView, 700, 603, and 701.
There is an app that I can't remember the name of that copies the style of the N9 where you can slide to unlock the screen etc, and has the same font as the MeeGo OS etc etc, its in the Nokia Store.
Lastly, as Symbian is now in maintenance mode, there will be no more firmware updates made available for such devices, as the focus is now on Asha models and the Windows Phone platform with the Lumia range of phones.

Nokia belle feature pack 1 update for nokia 603?

would any official from nokia please tell me if nokia 603 will be upgraded from 1ghz to 1.3 ghz like 700 and 701?. Many people owning 603 are asking about this and if no, would you please give us the reason aren't 603, 700 and 701 identical hardware wise and software wise?) and also if no, will this affect future upgrades and updates for 603 i mean : will it get the same upgrades and updates of 700,701 and 808 after belle fp1 update ?!!)

Why can't I get Nokia Belle Refresh?

Hi.
I have an N8 that was locked to O2 but since I have now had it unlocked and am contracted to Talkmobile. My product code is 059C1B7 and am on software release 111.030.0609. Everytime I check for updates either via OTA or Nokia Suite I am told that my N8 already has the latest firmware.
How do I get Nokia Belle Refresh v.111.040.1511?

hi mate,
sounds like you have an O2 branded handset, in which case it is up to O2 whether they release the Belle Refresh to you or not. In this case, you will have to contact them directly, and enquire as to whether you will be receiving the update or not, or if they have any plans to do so or not.

Why can't I get open type features to work properly with an open type font on InDesign CS5.5?

I installed a very complete set of styles of an opentype font with Font Book – Mac OS X 10.9.4 – but when I tried to format a sample text on InDesign CS5.5 I noticed that I could not use the opentype features on the Open Type menu as I usually do.
Could anyone help me, please?

It's ffScala Sans, but has separate files for small caps, figures, etc.

Can't update to Nokia Belle

I'm using an N8.
I tried to update to Nokia Belle using Nokia Suite but the process always gets stuck during backing up the phone. It said that it cannot back up the phone and there was the black-and-yellow exclamation sign by the 'Messages' in the back up list. Can anyone help me please?

Hi Lailajusoh,
What I can suggest for you is to manually backup your phone by opening Nokia Suite and following the instructions as posted on the attached screenshots from Screenshot1.jpg to Screenshot4.jpg and after backing up try to update your Nokia N8. Screenshot4.jpg will b posted in my next post right below this as nokia only limits to three attachments per post.

Will UK 700 059L5V1 get Nokia Belle update?

Yes I know it has Belle already but it is SYMBIAN Belle version 111.020.0308. This is incompatible with the Microsoft Apps for Symbian. It is a generic, unlocked unbranded phone so you can't use the 'waiting for operator approval' explanation.

Even though your phones may not be branded by a carrier, they may be country variants, in which case the Nokia Belle update may be delayed to you, or not be released at all. Country variants are where Nokia has released the generic firmware to your country's Nokia, and it is up to your country's Nokia to approve this and add their own country requirements / custom apps etc, and release the update to you. If you still do not see an update available for your handset, I suggest contacting your Nokia Care and inquiring.

I just noticed that I can no longer get the shuffle feature on my iTunes 10.4.0.80 to work. I've turned it off and on, but it still just goes in order of the playlist. I too have been getting an error msg at computer startup.

I'm not sure how long it's been like this, but I just noticed that my songs no longer shuffle when playing from iTunes (running 10.4.0.80). No matter if "shuffle songs" is off or on, they still just play on down the playlist in order. Could this be related to other problems I'm seeing listed that seem associated with the latest update? I also get an error msg when my computer is starting up that I think is associated with this latest update (something about not being able to read a line from "Apple sync helper" (hope I haven't butchered that too much, haven't had a chance to copy the error msg)). Is this something that's likely to be fixed in a later update?

After looking at other people's posts, I think it's official: there is a bug. Itunes support said I should not have lost the drag/drop tool and I haven't on the laptop that is running itunes 10.4 and operating system 10.6.8. I chatted with someboby who lost both his drag/drop and side scroll and what we have in common is a wacom tablet for a mouse. My laptop is a wireless mouse. I reinstalled whatever updated driver that wacom has out there, shut the system down for night, hoping for magic, but alas none to be had. So if I want to change song order, I network the laptop and desktop, share the screen on the laptop, drag and drop to my heart's content and curse Apple for making me work this hard to find the tool that was once at my fingertips. Apple also let me know that if I want to share songs in household that the hundreds on songs that were purchased for .99 need to be repurchased for another .30. Maybe Apple is holding my drag/drop tool captive til I pay up the money or Maybe the next update will fix the problem, I for one give up for now.

+1. Whatsapp etc not completely integrated into the notification area is one of the last big issues.

We're sorry to hear that you have been having trouble updating your N8 to Belle. Have you tried the possible steps on the following page, including the video, to ensure everything is connected how it should be?
Updating to Nokia Belle
Also, it might be worth you backing up your device and performing a hard reset, which will restore the phone back to it's out of box state. This simply can be done by entering *#7370# into your device and when prompted, enter the default passcode 12345.

It's known that Nokia Belle FP1 is available only for Nokia 603, Nokia 700 and Nokia 701 (and newer phones as well). Those devices that won't get the FP1 update are named '1st gen. S^3 devices' for all I know. That's what makes me say that Nokia 500 is a first generation S^3 device - because no massive updates will be available for it anymore.

Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap the Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign in with the Apple ID of your choosing.
