when i change a document to print at 70% or print a document landscape it changes every document after the change....how do i make it just for a single application

Yes, page setup is global, so any change you make for one web page will be remembered. I'm not aware of any built-in way to automatically (or even quickly) revert your page setup settings back to the defaults. Maybe there's an add-on that can do it?

Maybe some one else can pipe up with a solution, but this would literally take 2 seconds to do for a new project. And you can create a "template project" that includes this "text" clip. Save this project and then to a get info and check "stationary pad." When you double click on this file, fcp will open with a copy of this project and you just need to do a save as.

In the ISA550, the setting is under Firewall - Attack Protection - Block Ping WAN Interface. Unchecked it should respond to a ping.

This might have been suggested in another thread, but just in case: When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
Save any work you're doing in your email first, then:
1. Clear Firefox's Cache
Firefox > Preferences > Advanced Network mini-tab
Under Offline Storage, click "Clear Now". This might take a couple of minutes if you have a large hard drive.
2. If needed, delete the AOL cookies here
While viewing a page on the site, Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Outlook contact sync changes email properties!!! How to stop that?

Hi,
when you modify or add a new contact on the iPhone, once you synch it with Outlook (2007 in my case), all iPhone contact emails properties are changed in outlook.
I have set Outlook to default to send email in HTML, not in RTF:
Tools->Options->Mail Format->Internet Format-> Convert to HTML Format
This means it won't send RTF mails at all, first converting them to HTML messages.
Outlook "offers" a way to override this setting directly in the contact form.
If you open a contact in Outlook "Contacts" view, then double-click its email address. You get a dialog box called "E-mail Properties".
By default, it will use "Let Outlook decide the best sending format" as the "internet format" mode. This comes from the default we have set above.
Problem is that each contact modified in the iPhone resets this "Internet format" for that particular contact to "Send using Outlook Rich Text Format".
This is ways stupid since when you send a formatted email to someone who doesn't have Outlook, then (s)he gets a plain text email and an attached "winmail.dat" file that is binary and containing the formatting and attachments, built-in pictures, etc...
This file is recognized only by Outlook and can't be read if you don't have outlook or a utility to decode those files.
Can Apple fix this and keep the "Internet format" settings as it is in Outlook?
And if you create a new contact on the iPhone, then, when synching, use Outlook's default Internet format?
Is there a workaround to this annoying problem?
I know that Outlook is tricky, not the iPhone or iTunes, but we have to live with it.

HT1296 My phone is picking up all my photos from my computer when I sync it and then running out of space - any ideas how to stop that?. Want to download not upload!!!

Connect the iPhone to your PC/Mac with iTunes open.
On iTunes do this:
- go to summary (left hand side)
- select the option photos to the right
Here you need to decide how you would like to set how your iPhone syncs photos from your PC/Mac. Its is up to you wether you only want to sync selected or all photos. Once you have made the changes select "Apply" to the bottom right.

Just learning my track pad; viewed tutorial; when I click a link, message comes up,"open in new window," etc. How to stop messages?

I'm just learning how to use my Track Pad on my MacBook Pro, running iOS 10.9.4. I viewed the tutorial, which helped a lot , but still, when I click a link at odd times (I haven't figured out what triggers it yet) a small window with options such as, 'open in new window' opens up. It doesn't happen all the time. I just want the link to click through without having to deal with the message. When I click it several times, I may finally get it so the link just opens. How can I avoid those messages?

ACR 5.2 saves changes in RAW...How to stop that!??

Recently, crops that I've been making in ACR 5.2 are saved. When I return to the RAW image at a later date, the original file is hidden somewhere. How can I find it again???
I've tried the Camera RAW Defaults, as well as resetting them. This worked once, but hasn't since then on any other pictures.
What am I missing?

In the ACR dialog box, click and hold on the Crop Tool, then select Clear Crop at the bottom of the pop-up/drop-down menu. Done.
In Bridge, select the image and go to Edit > Develop Settings > Clear Settings. This removes all adjustments, not just the crop.

How to stop size of JTextField from changing when I change font to bold

I'm working on a Sudoku solver for a CS project. I've got JTextFields for the input. I want to bold the entries of the begining puzzle, like they are in the magazines. When I set the font to bold, it changes the size of the text field. I'm using the gridbaglayout and have tried everything to set in stone the size of a text field, but nothing seems to work. I've set the maximum, minimum size, the setSize method, as well as setting the prefered size. But no matter, when I change the font from plain to bold, the box grows in size. How do I prevent this from happening. I can post my gui code if it would help.

I can't get into the settings for fonts. How do I do that to change the font size?

I had downloaded the latest updated version of Firefox and I ended up syncing it to my Android phone. I went into some kind of settings dialog and accidentally changed my font and text settings and now I can't read any of my Gmail that's in my account on my desktop computer-it's too small. I'm trying to figure out how I can get into the content settings (I have the print out of what I'm to do once I get into the 'options' on the content settings page, but I don't know how to bring up the content settings menu/page). I use my desktop PC for work purposes and I can't use it with the font and text settings the way they are now. I also read where questions are being answered, but no one knows how to find the answers to the questions people are asking. How do we get to the answers that people give us about the question we have asked?
I hope you can help me ASAP so I can change what I need to ASAP. I work on my pc 24/7 for work and it's not helping me when I can't read emails and I can't fix the problem.

I followed the directions that were given to me in this forum. The only difference on my desktop PC computer after you click on the three lines at the top right of the screen after signing into your g-mail account, it will bring up the menu and you click on the 'Options' tab. I'm on G-mail and I'm running windows 7 Home Premium; there wasn't a preference tab and the percentage was already set at 100%. It takes you straight to the options menu. You then click on the 'Content' tab if it's not already open, change your font and font size to what you want, and then click OK. It reset those items for me and now I can read my emails. I noticed if you change the font type and size to something other than Times New Roman-size 16 (default font & size), you may have to change the size of font to a higher number (i.e. Arial-18 font size). You just have to adjust them for your preference if you want something other than Times New Roman-font size 16.

In my sap script, I have an include statement which fetches the data based on some input values. It so happens that the value fetched is displayed in very small font and is not readable. I want to increase the font size of that particular output. Is there any function to increase the output text size, may be relative to current size ??

Changing a font across the frames

Hi all
Novice here. I have created an animation where I have pictures and text accompanying the pictures sliding in and out. However, I want to change the font of the text across the entire animation. What is the easiest way to do this? I have found when I have tried it, (changing the font in the text box) that sometimes it throws the whole animation out for each key frame that has that text (if this makes any sense). In other words, suppose I change the font in keyframe 1, the change it at the next keyframe, sometimes the second keyframe is no longer consistent with the first, perhaps only slightly and therefore the animation can run a bit choppy as it goes from keyframe to keyframe. Any ideas? All help appreciated.

If you place the text into movieclips and animate the movieclips, you shouldn't have any issue like that, and you would only have to change the font once in the movieclip, not in every frame that has it.

The Firefox font is too small on the homepage and all websites. How do I change it?

I loaded the latest version of Firefox. The font is so small that I can't read websites, etc. I looked through all of the help suggestions and nothing worked. Zooming doesn't hold; changing the font size makes web content overlap, changing the scale didn't help. The Firefox Help page has the perfect font size. Why can't that be used for everything else. This is a make or break for me and many others whether we use Firefox. I have a network of 68 people and we are all experiencing the same thing. Even with glasses, it is too difficult to read.

There are some add-ons that can be used to change the zoom level on all sites, for example:
