When coming Mobile Sales 7.0 SP 6 or above ?

Hello,
does anybody know when Mobile Sales 7.0 SP6 or above is coming ?
We have a testinstallation crm 7.0 SP6, and at the moment I can only see
mobile sales 7.0 sp4.
Is there a new version 7.0 sp6 coming so that I the same level in crm as in mobile sales ?

I learned from SAP that in will be issued in the next 3 months (that was one month ago). I am doing an upgrade right now and I also would like to use SP6 but I am afraid that it still will take time.

we have installed msa 50sp15 on windows 7 32 bit with internet explorer 9.
Now we get error in mobile sales when we cklick on calendar choice field or when
I goto to activity-> calendar:

I know that IE 9 is not released for msa, but is there a fix for this or when coming for this ?

Error while generating the Business Object in Mobile Sales

Hi,
I made changes to the Business Object BOCAPGEN.
Now I am trying to generate the business object but it is giving out the error saying
Error intializing RT Generator !.RT Generator Failed for ".Error arsrep.dat is in use so Generation cannot be done
I am not a MSA Developer and have no clue regarding MAS(Mobile Application Studio)
So any one can please give me a clue regarding the issue

1 year later, I am facing the same problem.
I want to build MSA 4.0 SP8, everything runs fines until the end of the generation of the Tiles, the next step fails :

Then around 10 thousands of error messages of that kind follow in the output window ; howeverin the end it says "Generation End" without telling whether it was successful or not (the first time the output window was too small, I thought all was OK )
Anyways, the Mobile Sales icon appeared on the desktop and when I try to launch it I get the error "Starting MobileSalesfailed".
During another attempt, I check with "Unlocker" the 2 arsrep.dat files I found under the BOL directory, it reported that none was used and locked at that moment.
Also I killed the vbagen.exe process before starting the build, but it was automatically launched after. (first build was launched after a reboot, the 2nd after the 1st failed + vbagen.exe process killed)
Does anyone have any clue ?
Another question is : what are the rights required ? I am a local administrator but I do not have full admin rights (the only thing I saw at the moment is I cannot access to Add/Delete Programs in the Control Panel)

Error message while closing mobile sales on a vpn-connected notebook

Hi!
We're working with Mobile Sales 4.0 on laptops with WinXP ...
When our field service stay connect via vpn with the central server sometimes it happens that an error-message pop up if Mobile Sales shall be closed. The text is "this program is used to host and to initialize the UF F found a problem ...". What does this text mean? What is "UF"? Why raises this error?

Error while accessing application of Mobile Sales for Handhelds

   I am working with Mobile Sales for Handhelds. I downloaded a source code for "Mobile Sales & Service for HH using CRM 4.0 SP08" from SAP note 824427. After creating a WAR file out of this code and assigning it to the user through web console successfully, I synchronized. i think u have used these all external classes in your JSP files without importing these classes...
If u have imported these class files , then check , u have properly set path for these library (jar files) in the MI client itself.

<b> These jar files must be set in the classpath while starting the MI client...</b>
just refer this forum for setting classpaths in the client device for additional jar files ...

Mobile Sales - Error while Saving Sales Order

Hi,
When I try to create and save a sales order in the Mobile Sales, the error message UI_CONT_STATUSBAR_ICON_TT is displayed, blocking the saving process and the new order is not saved.
I tried to debug the SAP Mobile Application Studio(Visual Basic) side and I didn`t find any error there.
Does anyone knows what could be happening?

Condition type not coming in sales order

Hi,
we have a condition type Z026. The issue is that it is not set in the order but the condition records exists. The pricing analysis shows that condition reocrd is missing but the fact is the condition record is there. The acess seq is Z026 and there are many tables in the acess sequence.
The first table in the access seq is 906 and the condition record exists but still the system says that the condition record is not found using cond preliminary step (header fields like customer/sales org/div). the cond record is maintained for relevant sales org/dist channel/customer/material. cond preliminary step means that system first looks for the header fields but everything is there.
The condition is active and the conditon is created on 21.7.10 with validitity from 21.7.10 to 31.1.2010 and the pricing date in sales order is 27.7.10. so everyhting is fine but yet the condition is not coming in sales order

Now try creating a sales order with 20.07.2010 as the pricing date. It will work. Create another order with 21.07.2010 and it will not work. If so, it is due to the validity date. When you give 21.07.2010 as validity date and there is already another record which was valid on that date, the gap of one day can happen and we have experienced this. There is even an OSS note explaining this concept, which makes sense business-wise.
However you check the scenarios I have mentioned. If the behaviour is as I have mentioned, then you have to change the pricing date of your problamatic sales order to one day earlier, or move the validity date one day earlier.
If the behaviour is different, pls lemme know

Kindly check below mentioned settings.
create condtion table (e.g 510). Attach this table in the access sequence (say z001). Create condition type (ZMRP) & attach this access sequence to conditon type. Attach this condition type to your Pricing Procedure (say zz001). Attach this pricing procesure to sales areadocument pricing procedurecustomer pricing procedure. Maintain condition record for conditon type ZMRP in VK11. Now try to create sales order. ZMRP will automatically appear in the conditons.
Note: sales order which is already created, to make ZMRP appear in it, double click on item, go to condition tab. Press "update" button. Press "carry out new pricing" and you can see ZMRP appearing in the conditons.

405 - ICM_HTTP_INTERNAL_ERROR in CRM Mobile Sales

Hi Experts,
We deployed a CRM Mobile Sales 1.2 in Windows Mobile simulator. When we try to login to CRM Mobile Application, it is keep on checking for initial data in the simulator, then we checked in the session monitoring for any errors, we found the error as"405 - ICM_HTTP_INTERNAL_ERROR -".
But we were able to get the all the data (Activities, Task, etc) previously. For the past two days, we were not getting any data in the mobile simulator due to this error.
Please let us know the solution for this issue at the earliest.

I am having the same problem, while trying to connect through my Windows7 laptop, the SAP CRM Mobile App keeps on showing "Checking for Initial Load" on login screen after entering the PIN, Connection Information and SAP CRM credentials and never go to App's home page.
I also tried logging through iPhone but not able to see any data there also.
I checked and found the data in MAS_AUTH_CUST & MAS_CUSTOMIZATION and BP related objects (as we haven't downloaded the Products and Transaction related objects yet), but not sure where to check USER_DETAILAS & USER_AUTHORIZATION.
How can we trace and monitor that the data is flowing from NWM to Mobile device??

How to clean tables in Ides database of Mobile Sales

In order to go faster loading the new extract synchronizing MSA client, how could I clean the Ides database into MSA client ?

Thank you, but I'm not interesting in complete archiving process.
I only want clean tables into Ides database into SQL Server of MSA client, with SQL tools. From SQL Interprise manager.
When I create a new extract for existing user and synchronize it, the import operation is very slow because SQL server needs delete the old records in all tables and import new records.
As far as I know, detaching Ides database, saving it, ... some operations...., and restoring it, we can clean all records in tables. After that we will synchronize and will load new extract.

What Mobile Sales solution for ERP 6.0 ?

I have serious difficulty to understand what is the SAP offering for Mobile Sales solutions for SPA ERP 6.0. SAP is vague and just say there IS solution for R/3 (?).
My questions are in two directions:
1. About the "preconfigured" Mobile Sales offerings or xApps or whatever it is:
    - can we use SAP MSR 2.0 with ERP 6? If yes- are still the limitations described in Note OSS 735727 valid (use only with Microsoft PocketPC2003, PocketPC2003 SE and Win32 )

2. About the "Online" solutions

If I am not wrong you are talking about internet sales for R/3 when you say ERP internet sales, which is probably outdated by now. Nowadays SAP distributes something called as mySAP Business Suite which in brief is as follows:

MAS doesn't recognize custom Mobile Sales UI application for generation

Hello,
I've upgraded a Mobile Sales development workstation from CRM5.0 SP08 to CRM5.0 SP13.
When I try to generate the user interface in MAS I observe the following:
In MAS I created a new project (via menu entry "Build->Generator settings.." - project name "MON", dll name "MON", UI application "Y_MobileSales").
But when I check the project dependencies in the visual studio project (menu Project->Project Dependencies..) there is no MON-project available (only the visual studio project itsefl and sfabol). Thus, I can't generate the dll-file, either (I've closed and re-opened MAS multiple times without any effect).
When I change the UI project to standard values ( UI application "MobileSales"), the entry MON is available within the project dependencies.
It seems that MSA doesn't recognize the custom UI appliction Y_MobileSales. Everything worked fine within SP08, though.

sorry, that I couldn't reply earlier. But after implementing the note we've still the same problem. The MAS doesn't take a custom Mobile Sales UI application into account for generation.
The option "ENABLEFORCEGEN" is be resettet to "False" after opening the Mobile Application Studio.
In the Configuration Manager I can't see the UI-Project, only the "sfabol" project appears there. Thus, I can't build the UI solution.
Any ideas?

Mobile Sales - Order Creation fails

I am getting some errors while creating a Sales Transaction in Mobile Sales.
1) I have created a order in Mobile Sales with one product and when I synchronize with CRM Server I get the following errors:
-   At least one entry could not be found in object buffer
-   Validation error occurred: Module CRM_DOWNLOAD_BTMBDOC_VAL, BDoc type BUS_TRANS_MSG.
2) But when I try to create a Sales Transaction in Mobile Sales without a product, the order gets created in CRM server but with errors as mentioned below
-   Enter an organizational unit (Sales)
On checking the organization tab I noticed that the Organization unit is missing. The Sales Organization, Distribution Channel and Division are filled up properly as they I have an option of selecting the same in Mobile Sales. Where can I specify the Organization unit while creating a Sales Transaction?

It looks like you need to enable buffering of the organization model:
Enter Tx SM30 with table T77OMATTR (with a o, not a zero) and switch on buffering for the szenarios.

Mobile Sales 5.0 SP8 missing dlls

I just upgraded our development station from 3.1 to 5.0 SP8. Now I'm missing two DLL files. APOATP.dll or Interop.ADODB.dll and FactsNet.dll. I think I need this DLLs for the businessobject BOBPFACTSHEET and SALESDOCATPMANAGER. Actually they must be in folder <mobile>\Bin.NET\ but they aren't. I don't know why the dlls were not in the standard solution, but I really need them, because there are so many errors when I generate the MSA.
By the way, there are no msa.dll and sfabol.dll anymore in 5.0. Or did I see something wrong? What do I have to register, when I want to start MobileSales then? And what did replace the msa.dll and sfabol.dll?

yes, you are right, I opened a customer message but I haven't an answer yet.
The upgrade from 3.1 to 5.0 was not easy but possible. At first we did the upgrade to 4.0 and afterwards to 5.0 because we use mobile technology. In our case it's Mobile Sales. Therefore you have to upgrade the CDB at first to 4.0 and then to 5.0. But we are not ready with this project, yet, although the connection between R/3, CRM and CDB works so far. We just have to build the new Mobile Sales and then upgrade the 50 Mobile Clients.
I had some problems with the code migration tool, because under 5.0 it's Visual Studio .NET and no longer Visual Studio 6 , as you maybe know. This takes some time and needs some backup tapes to come to the point of now.
Furthermore I had some problems with the CDB Upgrades so that I had to implement some notes. But that was it.

Mobile sales 5.0 documentation about BP group hierarchy

I´m searching detailed documentation about mobile sale 5.0. I have already seen the help on line, but it is not containing any details on configurations steps neither on how some functionality is working.
In particular I´d need to understand how the BP hierarchies are working in msa and if it is possible to distribute the nodes of the hierarchy depending on the BP on the laptop and not bulk. I´ve found tree replication obj: CAPGROUP_WRITE, GRPHIER_WRITE, GRPTREE_WRITE. In CRM 4.0, if I remember well, there were only the CAPGROUP_WRITE; so I cannot understand what are the differences between all of them and when they should be used.
Does anybody have any documentation? Or know how they are working?
