When composing an email, I used to click on tools to get the grammer & spelling chck, now I do not have that, can I add it somehow or where is it please?e??
In my old Internet Explorer, Comcast email, as I compose a email, I used to be able to click on tools, and the Grammar & Spelling check would pop up so that I can correct my errors, but now that I downloaded Mozilla, the Grammar & Spelling check is not even there? Where can I find it or can I install it? Thank you.
Spell checking is in Firefox, but not grammar checking.
:by default it only works on multiple line input boxes, but you can make it work on single line input boxes as well, and can even check (but not fix) the spelling on any web page.

When I try to enter a new calendar entry I get the following message: "This calendar was created by mail, you can't add events to a mail calendar" what does it mean? I never had this message before.
Check which calendar you are trying it put this event on, then put it on the correct one.

Currently running firefox 3.0.4. I downloaded 3.6.28 successfully. When I tried to install it by sliding the firefox icon over onto the applications icon I got a message saying an item named firefox already exists and do I want to replace it with the newer one I am moving. I clicked "replace." Then I get a message saying that the operation cannot be completed because I do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items. How can I complete this install?
If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then best is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
*Trash the current Firefox application (open the Applications folder in the Finder and drag the Firefox application to the Trash) to do a clean (re)install

Your personal data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox profile folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data when you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.

I know this sounds crazy but I have "lost" my arrow key at the top of the screen to go forward or back. I'm sure it used to be there but it's really bugging me that I can't find it. It's a real pain trying to go one page back. Help?!
If this is Safari that you've lost the arrows in, go to Safari > view > show toolbar.
If the toolbar is present and the arrows missing then right click on the toolbar and select "customize toolbar".
Drag the arrows or the default set back to the bar.

I can not connect to my home Wi-fi. I put the wrong passcode in severall times and now it says that I am not able to use my home internet. How do I get back to the place where I can put in the correct passcode and connect. Not sure what to do and really don't want to take my phone back to sprint.
Click the blue button next to the wifi name, then hit Forget Network.
Then try to connect again and use correct password. -
When I open the web browser I cannot see the whole page and I cannot move the image sideways and must use the mouse scroll to move up and down.
Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder:
User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox. -
This has happened after my last two updates of Firefox. I keep hoping the bug has been fixed but not yet apparently.

On Windows when composing an email, I would often highlight a word or sentence in yellow. I don't seem to have this option on my Mac Book Air toolbar as I did when I had on my laptop. How can I add this feature to my toolbar? I don't want to change the font color, just want to highlight a word within the email.

You may or may not be able to do this based on which e-mail client or webmail platform you're using. In your email options, you'll want to have the option to paste it as rich-text or HTML. If you only have the option for plain text then you're out of luck. -
I've a new account on iMac. When composing an email the contact list does not show up on the bar, which would allow me to select the persons I want to include on the distribution of the email. When I start keying in a name in the email, it comes up with the person's address, which shows it is synced. How do I engage the contact list from the email like I do on my old account (where a contact list icon shows up, along with the "attach" and other icons) ?
With the New Message window open, go to the View menu and select "Customize Toolbar...".
In the screen that opens, drag the item labelled "Address" into the Toolbar area of the New Message window, then click the "Done" button.
That item should be then added to the Toolbar for the New Message window.
Note that the main Mail window and the New Message window (as well as the separate message window if you open a message that way) use different toolbars - the settings/inclusions for one do not carry over to another. -
When sending an email I used to be able to click on a distribution list in my contacts and it would add all the email addresses, I now have to add each email address individually and this takes a lot of time. Could someone tell me how I can add a distibution list/group to my emails?

I have four groups.
I just typed the name of one of those groups in the To field on the iPhone's email, and received:
Invalid Address
"<group name>" does not appear to be a valid email address. Do you want to send it anyway?
I clicked continue and it remains in my outbox.

When composing an email the cursor disappears behind the keyboard using iOS 8. Is there a way to have it scroll up so that I can see what I am typing? Was not a problem with iOS 7
u can slide the message viewer all the way over to the RIGHT, thus hiding the message from view, and then delete at will from the expanded left column.

How do you get toobar to display when composing an email?
when composing an email I do not have a toolbar that give me options such as add attachment, save as draft etc.
Are you attempting to use a web-based email client or Thunderbird?

In Yahoo Mail, when composing an email I get an "Asking to leave this page" panel; it does not matter whether i choose stay or leave, the panel pops up again....and again...the only way out is to Force Quite Firefox and start all over...help please...

If it does apply to Mac, I am also hoping for something simpler as this could take weeks to isolate the problem and it would be more efficient to use another browser for mail
Also, I should have added, this problem occurs only occasionally and seemingly only when I am taking some time to compose a message
