When converting a pdf file to word it appears in a different language

I was able to convert my pdf files to word but when I open the word document the document is in a different language. How do I get my word documents in english?

What product are you using? Are you using Adobe CreatePDF service that you can access at https://createpdf.acrobat.com? Can you please send me your PDF file at [email protected]? I'll give it a try. I am trying to convert a pedigree chart so I can put it in my family's genealogy book. I need to make some corrections on it. It was created on a MAC and I am on a PC. This may be part of the problem. I am on Windows 8 on a 1-year old Samsung computer laptop. I have Adobe Reader XI on it. It says that I can convert a PDF to an Excel or Word file for editing.

I have just upgrade the creative cloud CC version and upgrade the acrobat pro to XI version.
when I convert a pdf file to word format, it show the error "Save As failed to process this document. No file was created."
Actually, I have delete the image, use other pdf file and download a sample pdf file to test it. Same error is shown. I have try all the other format , like the excel, rtf, text, powerpoint, still same thing happen.
Please show me what else I can do to fix this problem.

Open pdf document, click tools, click content editing, click export file to (choose word). Or open pdf document and choose save as. Either way it prompts to subscribe.

Apparently, I got caught in a down period of the system that handles new purchases. After a while, Export PDF did just what is was supposed to. The problem was that it didn’t know it had been paid for until the glitch was fixed, or so it seems.
The remaining problem is that while it was in the glitchy period, my profile showed no orders and no purchases. So, of course, I concluded that something went wrong when I ordered (even though I got the email confirmation), so I ordered again. Now I may get billed twice.
Is there some way to see that I’m not billed twice?

I'm trying to convert a PDF file to Word by using Adobe ExportPDF online. The file uploads okay and then the screen says it is converting - but it simply keeps displaying the "working" logo and never actually finishes. Any thoughts as to why this is so?

Part of the problem in helping is likely that there is no program Adobe -- that is the company name. You are in the Acrobat forum, but it sounds like you have subscribed to Export PDF or such, a different program. The subscription to Acrobat is currently $19.99 per month.
