[ICSS B2B] Problem when creating a service request due to language
Hi everyone.
We have a web portal based on icss_b2b wich is linked with our backend (CRM).
On the web portal, we should be able to create service requests and it works fine when we are using english.
But if we log using german language, when we try to create a service request we have an error and creation ins't done.
Do we need do to do any configuration in the xcm ? Crm ? to allow to create service request in a new language ?
Thanks for your help.Hi,
We are facing the same problem, were you able to solve this?
Our Portal takes the language from the browser but we only want to allow people access to ICSS in French and English.
Example:
If browser language = French --> French ICSS
If browser language = English --> English ICSS
If browser language = Dutch --> English ICSS (English = default language)
Many thanks for any feedback.
Cheers,

Hi all,
I have created an internet service request for the employee to create his bank details ( which have to be routed to HR administrator ).
I have created a scenario named ZBD and assigned by self as the processr and created an ITS service by the name Zbank.
i log on to its for the service QISR. I Select my custom scenario, but when i select my custom scenario it gives me a java script error "access denied".
When i try ot execute the transaction QISR from webgui i get the error

Outbound E-Mail when creating a Service Request
Hi.
I am trying to set up a scenario where an outbound notification email is sent out when a Service Request is created. I have created the email FORM in WEB UI but was wondering how to trigger the email sending process (I am looking for the best practice).
A possible option could be to create an action that is triggered when the Service Request is saved but does the standard action work with a "email form" created from WEB UI (as far as I know it works with SMARTFORM) or do i have to code the whole logic myself:
-Get the template.
-Convert it to html.
-Populate data.
-Build email body and so on and finally send email and attach it to the Service Request.
I wonder if there is standard functionality for this.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Best regards.Hi,
If you are on CRM 7.0 sending e-mail when service request is saved is a standard functionality. Use Rule policy with Intent Driven Interaction context.
1. Create New policy and add your Business Role at the header.
2. Add IC Events 'OrderSaved' at the header.
3. Create Rule as follows:
Condition - If Current Event Equals Order was saved
Action - Send Out-Going E-Mail Using Mail Form
E-Mail Subject 'xxxxx'
Sender's E-Mail Adress 'email id'
Mail Form 'ZMailform'
Note:1. Make sure that your mail form has the attribute service request tracking text is inserted. You can see the service request tracking text attribute when you create the mail form in the Attribute Context 'ERMS
2. Make sure that your service manager profile has the your IDI policy assigned.
3. Your CRM 7.0 is on SP04 or above.
Let me know if you have more queries.
Rgds,
Shridhar

Creating a Service Request in metalink
When creating a service request what product do I choose for ODSI? I see no form of ODSI listed, or DPS (although apparently there used to be one). Should I just choose Oracle Data Integrator or Oracle Web Logic? If it helps, I'm using the "new" version of Metalink, not the classic view.
Do you know if this is only available in the classic view of metalink? Perhaps it has something to do with what's supported under our contract or something? I know I sound like an idiot but it's really not available on my list.

Hi
I am on Jdev 11.1.2.4.0 Build JDEVADF_11.1.2.4.0_GENERIC_130421.1600.6436.1
When I am trying to create Web Services Data Control for SOAP, it gives 'Invalid WSDL File' for any WSDL file and shows following error:
oracle/adfdtinternal/model/adapter/webservice/utils/WSUtils$DefaultAuthPrompter
and in 'feedback' tab:
Already logged bug for [NoClassDefFoundError in o.j.webservices.wsdl.CachedWSDLReader:394]
Also if I try to create a new Request in HTTPAnalyzer and give a WSDL it shows following exception:

Please add the Function you have created for 'CASH ADVANCE' to following menus also:
1. Personal Actions Menu
2. Manager Actions Menu
3. Global Self Service Functions Custom
The prompt in 1 and 2 should be same as you have given in the Menu through which you are accessing this function.

Self service request to Activity in EIC
Hi Experts,
I have a requirement in e-recruitment that changing navigation from Inbox to Activity.
In standard solution of Employee Interaction center creating an activity involves in the following steps.
1. Select the self service request and click on process button
2. Leads to the employee search screen, click on same as contact
3. Click on Create activity button to create activity
4. Fill in the details and save the activity.
In the current scenario steps 2, 3, are avoided and an activity has to be created automatically from step 1 to step 4.
How can I do it. Can any one describe the procedure & methodology?
Please help me on this?
Regards
Venkat.Hi Friends,
Can you any one please reply on this question?
Thanks in advance.

CSXSRISR not opening SR when doing Find Service Request.
We recently upgraded from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3 this was tested and was functioning correctly, however this morning this issue began.
Under Service --> Find Service Request
You can search for the Service Request that you want to open, the results return, you can choose the SR you want to open and click OK, however the CSXSRISR form does not populate with the any data. It opens as if you selected Create New Service Request.
This is a major issue for our agents as some of them can not do their jobs.
Why would the search results not open the requested SR?
Thank youWell I figured the issue out. The folder at the top had been modified during a search and saved as default for a responsibility with the SR number as a query attached. Modified the folder that opened in the header and it works normally now.

Create a service request with the Account confirmed filled out
Hi all, I'm working on an IC scenario where we have to create a Service Request based on: functional location and customer.
This is the process steps:
1) search for the functional location (FL) and confirm it
2) confirm the account of the FL (we have a list of account related to the FL, partner function)
3) create a service request referring to the FL and the Account confirmed in the prev-step
My need is to find an automatic way to replicate the FL and the Account prev-confirmed directly into the Service Request, without repeat the search.
Any suggestions?Hi Anubhav, thanks for your replay. Your idea is good, but unfortunately our process is a little different. We have to manage with the FL, that is the central item of the Service Request, and with one of the several partner function of the FL.
So, first, the Agent has to search the FL and then confirm the right Account between the FL's partner (each time we have to create a service request, the Customer could be one of the FL's partner function). Now, I'm investigating if with a Badi, I can transfer the FL confirmed with the Account Identification, directly into the Service Request.
Interaction Center WebClient->Business Transaction->Service Ticket->BADI: Product Assignment for creation of Service Items
Thanks.

Self Service Requests for OIM Access Policies
In the absence of a Role Management product, is there a good way to enable OIM End User Self Service to process requests and approvals for OIM Access Policies or OIM Groups?
Any suggestions are appreciated!
KCUltimately the group membership will trigger an access policy. The access policy assignment is the goal, the group assignment is the typical method to assign the access policy to the user.
When creating a dummy resource, I assume that resource would have a lookup on the form to select the group name. Is this what you are suggesting?
