As you have a suite then deactivating one of the products will Deactivate the entire suite.

Error When Trying To Download CS5 Master Collection

When I try to Download the CS5 Master Collection Trial, using the downloader provided it only downloads the .exe file but the compressed file is not downloaded. It says calculating time 0bytes out of 276bytes transfer.
If i try to directly download the file i get this error
Access denied due to security policy violation
Reject ID: 4bdb4c37-27-14010a0a-7b6
Any clue what is causing this?
I can download any other suite just fine.

Having trouble Deactivating CS4 and CS5 Master Collection

I had the CS4 and CS5 Master Collection installed on my Macbook Pro and Mac Pro. I have recently reinstalled the OS and did not deactivate the software before I did this. How do I go about doing this so I can reinstall the software? The software serial number thinks that I already have the software installed because it has not been deactivated but I am just trying to reinstall it on the same computers since I wiped the hard drives.

If you're having problems reactivating your software, and have no way of deactivating its previous installation(s), then the only way to do it is to contact Adobe cust service / tech support, who with luck can work on it from their end.

Under this address, CC has been purchased in July 21st, 2014, that is the reason it is not allowing further purchase as under one Adobe ID, only one subscription of CC( Individual, single app, Team) can be activated & used.

CS5 Master Collection: So much installs, even when I choose not to.

Hello everyone! I have installed Adobe CS5 for the mac, but have been very choosey in my install options. During the install, I only chose Photoshop, After Effects and OnLocation to install, as well as unchecking ALL of the other options. Low and behold, after the install in my Applications folder I have: Adobe After Efects CS5, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Encore CS5, Adobe Media Encoder CS5, Adobe OnLocation CS5, Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Premiere CS5, Adobe Soundbooth CS5 folders.
Inside the Encore, Media Encoder, Premiere and Soundbooth folders are small apps that if I try to open it says: "You can't open the application xxxx because it may be damaged or incomplete".
Why do they install those folders if I chose not to install those apps?!

Yeah, I remember having a similar issue with CS4. CS5 seems to be so much worse, however.
For example, if I run the CS5 Master Collection installer and install ONLY Photoshop CS5 standalone without any additional components, it will also install Third Party Content for After Effects, Premiere Pro, Soundbooth, etc. leaving folders for those apps. Why is any of that necessary?
Anyways, I was just curious if anyone else has this issue or if it's an isolated issue.

Error when attempting to update Adobe CS5 Master Collection via Adobe Application Manager

I have a copy of Adobe CS5 Master Collection running on OS X Yosemite.
For the last few weeks, anytime that I'm prompted to update CS5, I allow it but it fails. See the first screenshot below for details. The second screenshot is the error log file.

Change of mobo for sandy bridge, will it affect software use (CS5 master)

Hello - new to this as you can tell from my question.
Just completed my new build, was very pleased with everything - system works a treat and about to purchase and intsall and register cs5 master this w/e
Realised may need to change mobo in April = advised by intel beacuse of sata2 controller problem with p67 chipset.I intend to replace mobo when corrected versions become available in April.
Question - my system disk is going to be the c300 ssd 128gb - it will contain - windows 7 ultimate, ms office, and cs5 master. When I change the mobo will my pc still work? Do i have to de register the software when i change mobo? or register it again? Am I better of waiting til April before I install cs5 (though prefer not to). The components of my build will be the very same ones apart from the defective mobo
I heard somewhere that I can legally use the software on 2 pc's though not at the same time. WIll I still be able to install and use it on my laptop if I need to, after I have changed the mobo in April.
(Also -- does anyone know the answers to the questions if for ms office.)

Well, I finally received my motherboard (Gigabyte P67A-UD7). Looks exactly like the old one, at least on casual inspection. Packaging is identical except for the graphics on the outer box. Only difference inside the box is that the SATA cables are black (first ones were blue). I'd forgotten how pretty these boards are- it was kinda cool to have two in the hand...
The switch was monkey-simple. I had to do one re-start, and since I added a few HDD's I had to change the boot order. (I know, this was a Very Bad Idea. Rule #3 is Never Upgrade More Than One Thing At A Time. But it was such a great opportunity to run more power cables and work on the cable management that I couldn't resist.)
Anyways, the software RAIDs were recognized, the drives were there, everything works the way it did and is absolutely fine: it even plays perfectly nicely with a couple of F2s that were a complete nightmare in my older system.
In short, I checked the new and old boxes and got all the old packing together;
-took out the new board and took off the CPU cover;
-removed the GPU and cables from the old board and labelled them;
-removed the old board from the case, took off the cooler and cleaned it. Don't forget a bottle of 99% Isopropyl alcohol and a few pieces of gauze to clean the old thermal compound off the CPU and cooler.
-cleaned the cpu, removed it, put it in the new board, put on paste and reinstalled the cooler;
-packed up the old board and all accessories;
-did what i wanted to do in the case, reinstalled the board, hooked it up and reinstalled the video card.
(I probably missed some vital steps. This is not a guide, just a gentle encouragement to do it!)
I deactivated CS5 first using the total deactivation method so when I tried to open it I had to re-enter the serial number. Takes 5 seconds if you've already saved it to a text file- and I have.
I forgot to deactivate Lightroom and it didn't seem to make any difference, but I only have it on this machine. I would recommend deactivating first. Can't hurt and like Harm (and maybe others) said it takes seconds.
All in all, it was a totally painless experience (as these things go) and a great opportunity to do a few upgrades I'd been putting off.

How do I get a copy of Acrobat with my CS5 Master Collection???

I activated my Adobe CS5 Master Collection (running on Snow Leopard) with a serial number purchased from CDW and everything went smoothly, but after a few days of using the core products I typically use I noticed Acrobat was not included in the installed software.
Now, Adobe lists Acrobat PRO as an included product in the Master Collection and rightfully so since it contans just about every product they make.
When I emailed Adobe about this but the only response I got was some pre-formatted auto-response probably sent to me from the help desk in India or something. The auto-response said absolutely nothing about how to obtain a copy for the Mac, and just had a link taking me to the Acrobat home page, which basically says there is no trial version of Acrobat for Mac available for download.
I gave up on it since I do not use Acrobat very much but now I am in a situation where I do need to have Acrobat Pro to finish a job and I cannot figure out how to get a copy installed with the Master Collection.
There was no disclaimer indicating that you would not be able to get a copy of Acrobat when I purchased the downloadable version vs. buying a boxed DVD set, so I am expecting there must be a way.
Adobe's help has been pretty much useless when I emailed them, and I cannot find anyone with the same problem on Google or in the Adobe forums, so is there someone out there who can give me the answer or help me?
If I have to purchase a seperate copy of Acrobat so be it, but since it is supposed to be included with the Master Suite that would be kind of stupid if I have to purchase a copy of Acrobat seperately.

Adobe, you absolutely SUCK for making it so difficult to install this software. I am normally a fan of Adobe products, but now that you guys have bought out all your competiton you are getting lazy and stupid.

So, after over another week (I have been trying to find a way to install Acrobat with my purchased copy of the Master Suite for MONTHS)... My IT guy finally gets me the installer DMG for Acrobat and now I cannot install it with my master collection because the serial numbers are not the same?
I never got a god damn serial number for Acrobat Pro when purchasing the master collection.
Asking Adobe for help is totally worthless and not even worth taking the time to do so because all they give you is some BS pre-recorded response that doesn't help you with JACK...

PS and AE will not open in CS5 Master Collection

Window7, 64-bit, CS5 Master Collection, LightRoom 3…
Have had no trouble since loading CS5 (which was difficult) for the last month. Today, PS 64-bit, LR 3, AE and Mocha for AE will not open. These programs close with a similar error message “Adobe Photoshop 64-bit has stopped working. All other programs in CS5 including Photoshop 32-bit will open?
Any suggestions on what to do to correct the problem? After spending 2 weeks installing CS5 this is heartbreaking - I wish Adobe would pay for my downtime!

I ran the Adobe Support Advisor and it came back without identifying any errors. However, when I closed the advisor this grayed out message come up:
"Creative Suite Product Install Inspector has identified the issue(s) that needs attention. An issue report has been generated. Adobe will use this issue report to helpaddress the issue(s) in the future."
I just spent 2 hrs with Adobe Tech Service and they could not identify a problem and suggested that I remove all 3 programs and reload. LR3 almost loads - it is in "Web" trying to open a flash gallery plug in when it fails. The other programs do not open at all...
I am going to remove and reinstall LR3 first and see what happens. Then I will (unless someone suggest something else), reinstall Windows 7. Reinstalling W7 was the only thing that worked for me when I initially installed CS5 for the first time...

Error when installing CS5...

Hello. When I was installing CS5 Master Collection, the power supply suddenly stopped. So when I re-install again after power supply back, then it had error showed "Your installation encountered errors. Please try restarting your system and installing again". Then I have un-installed everything about CS5 and rebooted. Then installed again. but still failed. How can I solve it? Thanks...

When you say that you've un-installed everything related to CS5 . . . did that include the registry? I suspect not. You will probably need to contact Adobe support.

How to troubleshoot "Exit Code: 6" error when installing CS5 (Mac)

So hey. It's been a long, long couple of days trying to figure out this error, and even longer (and more frustrating) trying to actually find someone from Adobe who can actually give me customer support. You think they'd have a bit more streamlined approach when taking care of their customers, but I guess that's why I am here, so lets find out
Basically, I'm trying to re-install my CS5 mAster Collection I got a few years back onto my MacBook Pro. I got it about 3-4 years ago from my college as a "teachers an student licensing," and it worked great.Amazing. Hallelujah.
Now fast forward to about 4 months ago; my Mac's Logic Board crashes. I spend a lot of time and money recovering data via a 3rd party data company, and FINALLY get my mac fixed with all files intact.
Problem is, all of my CS5 programs are gone, although i still have all the files I created with them. So I go to reinstall my Cs5; I still have all the disks (in mint condition) and my serial-code. I insert Application Disc 1 and enter my serial code, the installation gets to the point where it asks for Application Disc 2. I insert disc 2, and after awhile my Mac spits the Disc out and the Adobe Installation Manager says the installation was complete, but with errors, and only 2 of all the CVS5 programs were installed. When I checked the error log on the installation manager, it stated "Exit Code: 6"
I have looked up this code many time, but i just can't understand how to trouble shoot it. I'm not a programmer or a computer wiz, so some of the multiple multi-step process Adobe suggests for troubleshooting are beyond my ability or understanding. ALL I NEED IS SOME HELP; clarifying steps to trouble shoot this, understanding error code:6, advice on how to fix it, even a way for me to get in contact with and ACUTAL person from Adobe Customer Serivice.
Please, I am a Graphic Arts Major in college, and I can't afford to have this continue to be an issue. HELP ME.

Did you remove the bits of the failed install before going on? Try creating a new admin account for the install. If that doesn't work, try doing a fresh download from Adobe's site. Even if you bought the boxed version you can install the trial and enter your serial number.
