When deploying OS using same hostname the TS fails?

HI
If re using the hostname with OSD the client does not become active for a long period of time.
by deleting the device object from Configuration Manager, running a full AD discovery and collection update the
client starts to work normally within 10-20 minutes.
SCCM 2012 SP1 was working before installing SP1
Any ideas?

I concur with skywalk123, please check the smsts.log first.
Also, if you have a add domain step in your TS, I recommend you contact system admin delete the duplicate hostname from AD.

Right, like I'm trying to say, THERE IS NO SAFARI MENU bar. Example: I have multiple applications open, I click on a Photoshop window, the correct menu or title bar or whatever changes. Every other application window I click on brings up the correct "whatever" bar. If I click on the desktop, the "Finder Bar" shows up.
Everythiing else, BUT SAFARI, works the same way since OS X came out. This is ridiculous.
I'm getting the vibe that Apple is trying to get rid of the finder.... this is the way wrong direction.

It sounds like if you open Preferences in Word there will be a place where you can specify where to store autorecover files. Right now it sounds like it's pointing to somewhere that doesn't exist.

I'm glad iTunes is working now! If you want to locate iTunes plug-ins on your computer, you can find them in the following locations (you may not have the iTunes Plug-ins folder if you do not have plug-ins):
Mac:
/Users/username/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/
/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/
One thing I also wanted to mention is that the "Users/username/Library" is hidden in Lion and Mountain Lion. You can access it using these steps:

The Library folder contains files used by OS X and your apps, including your personal fonts and preferences. The Library folder is hidden. If you need to open it, make sure you are in the Finder, hold down the Option key, and then choose Go > Library.

Yes, but you'd first need to know the GPS coordinates. You'd need a court order to get the carrier to release this info(extremely difficult to obtain), then you'd need the police involved to witness & verify the software being used to locate the phone by its Mac address(again difficult to do). But, possible.

I admit to being a relative newbie at Solaris 10 administration, so please exercise forbearance on my behalf.
I have just installed Solaris 10 11/06 on my laptop x86. Everything went fairly smoothly. I used the Installation Check Tool 1.2 to decide if my machine was adequate to run the OS and with the exception of a NIC driver, it was. I downloaded the sfe driver and configured networking and it seems to work exceptionally well. However, when I run Update Manager in JDS (the only way I know how to run it), it fails to update some of the packages. Sometimes, if I retry the same packages, sometimes it will eventually work. But it keeps failing with the following error on a consistent basis over the last several days:
Utility used to install the update failed with exit code {0}.
I hunted around on the web and the results were not promising. Is there a log somewhere that will give me the actual error or do y'all know of a quick fix.

Windows 7 crashed after Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium completed an update. The only Windows restore point that worked was pre-installation of CS6 software. Was new computer and newly purchased CS6 software downloaded 2 days prior to the upgrade.

What is the security context when deploying application using SCCM 2012?

As far as i know when using Group Policy the software is always installed under SYSTEM security context. However i cannot find any information related to SCCM 2012 (and deploying applications) security context.
Also is there a difference in doing "Install for User" or "Install for Device/System"?

Thanks. Just to confirm that if you use Group Policy and you Publish the msi for user when the user install it from Add/Remove Programs it is still going to be executed in SYSTEM security context?

Not sure about the context for Intellimirror, but for ConfigMgr it's as Ronnie and Torsten stated. This may be documented somewhere, not sure. Not everything is documented though -- in fact, I'd say less than 25% (probably less than 10%) of everything
to be known about ConfigMgr is officially documented. Note that this is the same for any product -- there simply are far too many permutations and possibilities to document them all.

IMessage - when two people use same password to sign into iTunes and Apple

Myself and partner both use the same password to sign in to Apple and iTunes - we have different emails but use same email to sign in, and we both have different Apple iPhone numbers.
iMessages used to work really well - he would get his texts on his phone, and mine on mine. Now it's all over the place.
How do I fix this? I don't know if I've done anything, or if the system has changed. But very frustrating.

I would recommend creating a separate Apple ID for yourself and then set up Family Sharing/Home Sharing in order to continue sharing iTunes content between the two accounts. This will help keep your iMessage and FaceTime services separate between the two of you while also saving you from having to purchase content twice.
