When do iTunes vouchers expire?

I have an iTunes voucher from December 2011, which I have not yet redeemed. I've heard that it will expire after two years if I do not use it, but I want to make sure by asking on here.

Yes it will expire I reccomend using it because you would not want to loose that

  • Can I redeem iTune vouchers towards either a iPad or the "Mountain Lion" OS when become available?

My son has received iTune Vouchers as gifts for his B Day. He has no credit card.
Could he redeem his iTune vouchers towards a purchase on Apple store for an iPad or iOS 6 or Mountain Lion OS when it become available?
    regards

They are only for software/media yes - so you can use them in the iTunes store (music, films etc), iTunes app store, ibookstore and Mac app store, they can't be used to buy equipment. Mountain Lion will be available in the Mac App Store when it's released (http://www.apple.com/osx/), so he will be able to use them for downloading that.

  • ITunes Match expired; I want to renew, but how?

I got the following email from iTunes Store today:
Your subscription for iTunes Match expired on 11/14/12. Your complete music collection and playlists in iCloud are no longer available from your iOS devices, iTunes, or Apple TV. You will still be able to download from iCloud any music you previously purchased on iTunes from the Purchased area of the iTunes Store. You can also sync your music to your iOS devices using iTunes for Mac+PC. To renew your subscription now, open iTunes on your Mac or PC and choose Turn on iTunes Match from the Store menu.
However, when I turn on iTunes Match from the Store menu, it behaves as it always has (as if iTunes Match had never expired), so I have no idea how to actually renew my membership.  I've tried turning iTunes Match off and on several times, but it never takes me to any sort of order/renew page.  I've also tried signing out/in on iTunes.  I definitely want to renew, but for some reason the Auto Renew did not go through (my payment details are fine, as I am able to purchase from the iTunes Store without a hitch).
Any advice?  iTunes Match actually seems to be working fine, but I don't want to wait for it to actually die before renewing.

Same. I want to renew, but no where to find. According to apple help pages, if you click account, there should be a place to select auto renew itunes match like below:
But my itunes doesnt have it at all!!

  • The sound on my G5 imac disappears when playing itunes

The sound on my imac just cuts out when playing itunes. If I press the Sound Increse or Decrease button on the keyboard it comes back - for a while !
The problem doesn't seem to be affected by anything else running.
The only thing that does seem to have an effect it is the volume - the lower the volume, the oftner it happens.
    Anybody help me?

One thing that helped was getting a toothbrush and scrubbing the dock connector on the phone.  I scrubbed the connector and used compressed air for about 1/2 hour till the connector looked much cleaner.  An Apple employee told me that the pins on the phone had a little corrosion and sand.  The problem hasn't gone away completely, but has been significantly reduced.  I'm going to hold out until my contract expires after which time I'll switch to an iPhone5 (or newer) or Android phone.

  • Can I pay for Logic Pro X using £139 worth of iTunes vouchers?

I'm 15 years old looking to buy the software, but clearly I don't have any bank information to give... So I really don't want to spend £150 on iTunes vouchers to be told that I have "reached the limit" or "need to provide bank details" or something whichy generally happens when spending a lot on money on software.
If somebody who has bought this using iTunes vouchers could answer my questions I'd really appreciate it.
    Thanks.

    Yes you can......
You will need your own Apple ID....
Going to this page will then allow you to add funds to that Apple ID to spend in the Mac App Store

I have this same problem. It's like it is not Authorizing this Mac.
What happens when you try to listen to a preview on the Music Store?
Mine asks me to authorize again and gives me the error exactly as you said above.
What happens when you try to view your account information (in Music Store, click on your account name in the top right corner)?
Mine lets me authorize sucessfully and shows me my account information.
I have emailed iTunes support about this and they replied with a generic answer about Deauthorizing and re-authorizing the computer.
I even tried, to no avail, the tips here...

    3) Uninstalled iTunes and then reinstalled - no change
    4) Cleaned out IE files cookies - no change

Although a didn't currently have Norton and had thought I had uninstalled it (no longer in my program menu & no residual icons et al...there is the 'Semantic' TOOL that must be used to REALLY remove Norton security remnants that are buried deep in the c-drive program files. This I didn't know about...
So I downloaded the tool from the Norton web page and ran it per their instructions. After rebooting, my 8.0.2.20 iTunes secure connect was fine.
I spent 9+ days trying to get iTunes to work. Norton is the devil company and I will never use that security program again - especially with all the other Norton-specific issues iTunes is having release after release...

  • Can I use australian itunes vouchers with a UK account?

My daughter has been given a number of Australian itunes vouchers while we where in Austalia at christmas. When we tried to redeem them they say 'your itunes store (United Kingdom) does not match that off the gift certificate (Australia)'.
How can I get round this problem as she has quite a few?

Sorry... But the iTunes Gift Cards are only valid in Country of Origin.

  • Blue Screen of Death When opening iTunes.

I am at a loss. For the past six months I have been trying to figure out why my computer has a blue screen of death and then restarts "nearly" everytime i open iTunes. The "nearly" is what's driving me nuts because every once in a while it will open ONCE and then start crashing again. I don't even do anything to help it open it just miraculously works every now and then. It even craches the comp when starting iTunes in safe mode. The blue screen error says "Page Fault in non-paged area". iTunes worked fine for months before this randomly started happening. I have tried every solution I have seen, even ones that weren't for my problem. So far I have:
Manually uninstalled iTunes and QT and reinstalled the standalone QT then iTunes.
Disabled itunes helper and ipod service before starting.
Disabling all other services and start-up items.
Installed current bios and drivers (as far as I can tell)
    Installed current windows installer.
    Updated microsoft products including .net
    Updated Java runtime environment
    Replaced ram
I have a pentium 4 1.6ghz with soyo mobo and a RAID card(mirrior) set-up. 1 gig of pc133 ram. I can ul the minidump if needed.
I figured out how to load my podcasts on my ipod manually but I want to get a video ipod so I need itunes. PLEASE HELP!!
      Windows XP

there's a few more things worth checking on. but let's also capture a minidump of the crash and send it to someone who can interpret minidumps.
To set up your machine to capture a minidump, right click on "My Computer", select "Properties", select the "Advanced" tab, select the "Startup and Recovery" Settings button, select "small memory dump" from the popup. When it crashes, look for the MiniDump file. It's usually in the folder "C:\WINDOWS\Minidump" and is called something like Mini<number>-<number>.dmp.
send it to this email address
in the email, put the URL to this discussion thread, so that whoever gets it has some context. Also give as much information about the context of the crash (in the email) as you can.
    love, b

  • Error message when updating Itunes...can not open Itunes program

I am recieving error message when updating Itunes for my computer.  The error message reads "MSVCR80.dll is missing and the other error message reads Error 7  (Windows error 126)"  I can not open my Itunes.  I have reloaded the Itunes onto my computer but still have the same error messages.  Please help.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
