It has been so CRAZY dealing with Verizon that I just don't know where to start. I paid a deposit with this company that at first they could not find and I was placed in tranfer hell, next told that after on-time payment will be re-evaluated and them sent (to which I have paid on-time four times thus far, AND now, after complaining to the BBB received a response by the same woman{edited for privacy} I spoke with when this all began stated that I would not be refunded and that I haven't been current since March 2012?!!? Really? That is slanderous as that statement is NOT the case, but she made it.
If you have not noticed people, you can make an online payment with Verizon and they will hold it AND show your account as past due, will tell you the account is past due even though YOU see the payment and it deducted from your bank account!
The lack or regard and level of service I have received from this company doesn't amaze me unfortunately. I can never get a straight answer in the private message board and of course they will never tell the truth. I have not been current since when? March 2012. Now they are lying and I have proof.
Do yourselves a favor people. If you can find another service provider...find one. I am, but not before I make this slanderous statement right.

I like to be able to navigate backwards and forwards without having to scroll down and find where I was previously. In Firefox Four, when using the forwards and back buttons, the page will automatically return to the top of the page. Is there any way to change this setting in Firefox Four to prevent it from doing that?
Thanks for the response. No Time Machine, but I probably have a backup from a few months ago on an external hard drive. :/ I guess it'd have useful history, but not if it overwrote the last 3 months or so of Awesome Bar, that might not be so great.

I have a new device. When selecting the language and country I am trying to connect to a wifi connection and getting the error 'Your Iphone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. Try connecting to your Iphone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a few minutes.
Where exactly did you get this phone?
Do you have a SIM in the phone?
There are 2 primary causes for this.
Either you don't have a SIM in the phone, which is REQUIRED to activate it, or the phone was hacked to unlock it. -
my ipod touch fell into the bath tub a few days ago, i shook out the water and put it in rice, but the screen on it is really very cracked and im afraid it might have really ruined it, it turns on but only when on the dock and as soon as i take it off the dock it turn off the whole screen goes black

I would appreciate your help on how to configure a gmail in a way it ask for the password everytime I connect?. In the only way I can configure it I have to include the pw when configuring the account and after that it do not ask for pw so everyone that shares my iPad can oppen my mail with no pw required.
ThankThe iPad is designed to be a single user device, and there is currently no way to password protect the Mail app - even removing the account password from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars will just prevent new mail being downloaded, it won't hide those that have already been downloaded. There is this work-around for the app : https://discussions.apple.com/message/13127632#13127632 . Also there might be third-party email apps that feature password protecting.

When synchronizing my iphone4 on the computer it errors out when optimizing the photos and shuts down iTunes. Any idea what to do to get the synch working?
OKay, here is the deal. You cannot change the location of encrypted files nor can you share them with other machines. There is no file server for iTunes so even if you export the movie index from iTunes to an external volume, each time you reboot your computer itunes has to reindex the external drive every time you want to access the files. The second you run your mobile computer without the external drive or try to access the HD movies from another device or another user on the same network, the indexing gets out of synch. The entire process is self defeating regardless. The HD movies are encapsulized by apple to stream to your devices via iCloud and NOT via Cloud. Only your TV can play 1080p. That single file you download from iTunes has mutiple versions of the same video in the capsul, one version for each type of apple device. There are no 1080p apple devices except for the Apple TV. When you buy a movie you are buying a license and not the movie. It's going to get worse with all the new copywrite laws. Already you cant share any apple devices with other itunes accounts. Your airport express just stopped streaming music to all users on the local home sharing Cloud. Only the one user for each device and soon only airplay speakers connected directly to the device. No more passthru via your TV and no more file sharing with other accounts on the same wi-fi. All the ISPs are doing the same thing. And soon everybody will be buying their phones and TV's and iPads from the cabble guy.
Apple has done a poor job of educating the consumer as to the difference between the Cloud and iCloud. They are not the same at all.

because when i use the gps app in my iphone 4s in the car my iphone gets overheat so
if i dont use the display when using the GPS and only listen to the voice instructions can that also makes the iphone overheat even if you dont use the display
will that help?When you use your GPS does your iPhone get hot enough to shutdown? The reason I ask is that I have run my GPS app with the screen brightness set to near max connected to power for hours. My iPhone got hot, but didn't shutdown.

iMac froze while surfing web last night (color pinwheel), I forced quit and now when rebooting the fan and chime come on, the monitor stays on grey and the apple sign is replaced by a stop sign and I can't get past this, is there self fix? Never backed up.
The computer (top / back of monitor) gets really hot within minutes.How old is the iMac?
With no backup, you have probably lost all your data.
Sounds like serious hardware problem for which you are going to have to take it to Apple for an estimate of repairs.

Same issue here both with my iphone 5S as well as my iPad2. THe sync to my macbook air does not complete and it shows a large overcapacity level when connected, but once I disconnect there is plenty of room (4 GB) available, not a 20 GB overage.

Assuming you are referring to the US, no one knows for sure but probably 4 to 6 weeks after the release of the iPhone 5 for the same price as the 4s.
