I want to use an Ipad 3 for sailing (Gps,music and everything else) but i need some protection... like against water, salt, sun and sand. So if you know a company or some stuff that can do the job just tell me pls.

Do a Google search for "military duty ipad case" and see what you find - I did and several options showed up, including Griffin (a well-known case provider). As to when they'll come out, you'd have to ask the manufacturers... some may state that their iPad2 cases will work with the new model, because their large form factor will not be affected by the slight changes, but others that are more form-fitting may be working on a new design.

I just spoke with an Apple sales person at the NYC Fifth Avenus store. The ipad 4 wi-fi's will be sold starting on Nov. 2nd. No stores are currently selling them. And so far, Apple is still reporting wi-fi with cellular will go on sale in mid Nov.
Though this particular Apple store is open 24/7, on Nov. 2nd, the store will start selling the ipad 4 at 8:00 am that day. So check with your local store.
And as per the sales person' s info, this store is honoring the thirty day exchange.

Personally I'd wait for their customary media event in September, we'll likely hear about it then if its being planned at all.

Nobody here can answer that question... iPad shipments are not keeping up with demand all over the world. Your best bet might be to order it online and just wait for it to come, rather than keep checking in stores.

Already out. I'm responding on my iPad 4. However I was told as I bought one from a retailer that there is a delay on the 4G version. Doesn't worry me, I don't have any end for it. May be the same with the mini version.

The Ipod Touch, by itself does not allow cross-fading, therefore when the stop time is edited short, the song jusst truncates then goes to the next song. I tried the DJay ap and while it would crossfade, it would NOT read the song settings for the stop marker. So now I want to try and Ipad and see if there is an app that will READ the Itune stop settings within the song. I do NOT want an app that will allow me to DO the stop marker. I want an app that will READ the stop marker from the song as it is set in Itunes.

Itunes provides the option for setting the Start and Stop times of each music track. However, the start and stop times do not synchronize to the iPhone. I don't understand why this option is even available as it doesn't work when listening to music on the phone. I have not found another application that will support the start and stop time markets. I have searched quite a bit for this but can't find anything. I hope we can find something.

You can easily make FaceTime calls by opening the FaceTime app on your iPhone and entering in the email address and you will see an option for a FaceTime call. You can also create a contact for that person to make it easier if you plan on making frequent calls to them. Take a look at the link below for more information.

You can sync your music and apps from iTunes. However since you are moving from an iPod to an iPad, many of the apps will have iPad versions which you will need to redownload.
