When do you receive gamers club welcome packet?

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knows when to expect the gaming welcome packet for signing up for gamers club unlocked.
I joined 2 months ago and while the account does get the 10% trade bonus and 20% off new games, I haven't gotten any emails or regular mail about joining the unlocked club

I hope you’ve been putting your newly obtained Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) benefits to good use! I’m happy to hear that you’ve been receiving some of the benefits of the program. However, I do apologize as it sounds like you may not have received the Welcome Packet yet, which is a pretty stellar benefit in itself.
The Welcome Packets are usually sent out within 2-3 days of signing up for GCU, so you definitely should have received yours by now. Using your email address on file for the forums, I’ve attempted to locate your My Best Buy membership and I’ve been unable to do so. With that said, at your earliest convenience, please send me a private message including your My Best Buy membership number. Once I receive your message, I’ll look into this further and respond accordingly. To send me a private message, simply click the link in my signature.

    So I went into BestBuy today thinking the coupon would be attached to my account but it wasn't.  The employee said it may take some time but it should be e-mailed to me.
    I checked all e-mails and have not seen anything from gamers club.  Is there anyway to find the coupon otherwise?

    You should have received a Welcome Packet after purchasing your Unlocked member, but it would not have attached to your My Best Buy™ account.  You were to have been sent an email with a digital Welcome Packet within 2 to 3 business days, and there is a good possibility your Welcome Packet was sorted into your email accounts spam/junk folder.
    Since you purchased your Unlocked membership back in November, the coupons in the Welcome Packet you were sent have expired.  I am going to send you a private message to go over your account with you and to see what I can possibly do to further assist.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope at the top of the page.

    I purchased Gamers Club Unlocked on Monday 3/9/2015, and am a long time member of reward zone. I have checked both my e-mail, and my spam folder and I still have not received my Welcome Coupons. I was hoping to use them this weekend.
    How can i facilitate this process?

    Congratulations on joining the Gamers Club Unlocked program.  It’s full of great benefits, such as the Welcome Coupons, though obviously it’s only a benefit if you actually receive the email with the coupons!
    Typically, that email should show up in about 2-3 business days after you initially sign up in the store, so normally you would have it by now.  It sounds like you’ve already taken the step to check your Spam/Junk mail folder as well.  I’ve got some additional information for you, so I’m going to send you a private message with those details.  To check your private messages, make sure that you are logged into the forum and click on the envelope in the upper right hand corner.

    I signed up (and paid) for it in late may and have been waiting for a while, overall I am very pleased with it so far, except for not recieving my packet.

    Generally, you should receive the welcome packet within 2-3 days of signing up for GCU. Considering you signed up in May, you definitely should have received yours by now!   • Did not receive gamers club unlocked welcome email and not appearing in account

    I just signed up for gamers club unlocked today but didnt receive a welcome email andit doesnt appear to be listed in my account. Could someone confirm if I have it?

    I wouldn't worry just yet! It typically takes 2-3 business days for welcome packets to arrive after enrollment, so you may still see yours within the week. Make sure to keep an eye on both your inbox and junk mail folders over the next few days for that communication. Gmail users should also monitor their Promotions folder if they have this option enabled as messages from retailers (including Best Buy) may wind up in this folder, effectively bypassing the primary inbox.
    As far as your Gamers' Club Unlocked status is concerned, it looks like you simply need to complete the enrollment process on BestBuy.com to address this issue. Instructions how to do so can be found in the article I've linked below, so I'd encourage you to try them out when you can.

    Then when I sent an email to BB support, the response had nothing to do with Gamers Club Unlocked.  They ask me the number of my pre-order and to call the digital download department.  Huh?
    Never got the welcome email and its been over a month!

  • Gamers Club Welcome Coupon

    I recently recieved my welcome coupon for "Buy 2 get 1 free pre-owned games". I see in the fine print however that I cannot use this coupon online and it is in store only. The issue I have with this is that my Best Buy locations have a very poor stock of pre-owned games and there is no way of checking what is in stock unless I go out of my way to travel there. This is extremely inconvenient.
    Are there any ways to:
    1. Have a Best Buy location obtain a copy of a pre-owned game so that I can purchase it in store?
    2. Use this coupon online?
    or 3. Check the pre-owned game stock of a Best Buy location remotely?
    If not then I feel a bit frustrated and cheated as this coupon would essentially just be bait. Especially since this "in-store only" detail was deliberatly left out of the initial Gamers Club Unlocked description.

With that said, I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to utilize one of the coupons you received for joining Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU)! Regrettably, the coupon you reference is only usable in-store, as you've acknowledged.

  • Haven't received all Gamers Club Unlocked Benefits

    So I've purchased Gamers Club Unlocked back in February, and while I've received new games for 20% off, I didn't receive the 10% bonus trade in credit, 10% off a preowned game, and the two special welcome coupons.     I also have had troubles with the GCU coupons! I have been using the GCU discounts for the new games and such, but I haven't received my Gamer Welcome packets coupon. =( I could've sworn I saw it in my email but when I checked back at a different date, there was no evidence!

  • Gamers Club Unlocked Expiration Date

    Hello,
    My expiration date seems to be wrong.  A while ago, I added another 2 years of GCU, and the website didn't show it.  It should have been good until 2019 at that point.  Then, I added another 2 years to my GCU.  The website then showed it expired in 2019, when it should have been in 2021.  I sent a PM to Mike-BBY, and he told me he saw that there was an issue with my account about a year before that, and that my expiration date was in 2020, but that he'd find out to see if you guys could get it back up to 2021, as you all were in the process of fixing GCU accounts.  Now I see that my expiration date is in 2020 on the website. Can someone please look into this?  I have a screenshot of my account showing that it was supposed to expire in 2017, before I added the 4 years of GCU to my account, that I can send via PM if needed for proof.
