When does the new iOS 6 come out for Iphone. I have a 4s

Hey folks.
I just upgraded to Mountain lion. I love it so far. My son even says the computer is so fast.
But, on to my question. I have an Iphone 4s running Ios 5.1, and I was wondering when the new 6 will be coming out. I've heard it's much better.

iOS 6 is set to release this fall. Apple has not been more specific that that.

    Already out. I'm responding on my iPad 4. However I was told as I bought one from a retailer that there is a delay on the 4G version. Doesn't worry me, I don't have any end for it. May be the same with the mini version.

    It is a powerful machine. The harman/kardon speakers sound very nice and clear compared to their size (they dont give you bass of course) Wireless is perfect, no connection losses. It is not warming. 32 and a 64 bit version Vista.
    Some probably negative comments:
    - the position of the intake vent is at the bottom
    - no S-video port (only VGA and HDMI) so I can not connect it to my CRT tv set :(
    - battery time is not so long
    - I hoped the keyboard has backlit, but I was wrong
    - 25! Toshiba utility programs (come on! is it neccessary???)

    Apple has not made any announcemnet with regards to a 5G iPod or using Siri on an iPod.  It is against the terms of this forum to speculate on things that Apple might do.

    The initial announcement here in the US was for a November release.  Apple is usually very efficient about emailing when an item ships...I have had really good service in that way.
    All one can do right now is be patient, hard as that may be with a new product
