When does the Satellite A500 comes out in Europe?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to know if anyone knew when will the Satellite A500 come out in Europe (France more particularly) because I was going to buy the A300D-219 ( [http://www.cdiscount.com/informatique/ordinateurs-pc-portables/toshiba-satellite-a300d-219/f-107092212-PSAHCE01U00LFR.html?search=toshiba&trilist=0&numpa ge=1] )
But if the A500 comes out in 1 month it maybe doesn't worth it, I need it for my studies, so for september...

It is a powerful machine. The harman/kardon speakers sound very nice and clear compared to their size (they dont give you bass of course) Wireless is perfect, no connection losses. It is not warming. 32 and a 64 bit version Vista.
Some probably negative comments:
- the position of the intake vent is at the bottom
- no S-video port (only VGA and HDMI) so I can not connect it to my CRT tv set :(
- battery time is not so long
- I hoped the keyboard has backlit, but I was wrong
- 25! Toshiba utility programs (come on! is it neccessary???)

    The initial announcement here in the US was for a November release.  Apple is usually very efficient about emailing when an item ships...I have had really good service in that way.
    All one can do right now is be patient, hard as that may be with a new product

    Nobody on here knows. Some people have reported being able to buy them in there local Apple Stores, but it seems to be a luck of the draw kind of thing on whether or not your store has any. I would bet on them being available by Thanksgiving, I don't think Apple would miss Black Friday without an unlocked iPhone.
