When downloading as a PDF, my entire page turns blue. How do I prevent this from happening?

Help! I've completed my flyer and everything looks great in Illustrator, however when I save the document as a PDF the entire thing turns a dark shade of blue. It almost looks as though the whole page as been highlighted. This only happens when it's opened as a PDF and not in Illustrator. Can someone help me figure out what I did wrong here?

Nobody can know. You have not provided any technical details, starting with system info and what versions of the programs you use nor have you told us anything about what's going on in your documents. From using a specific color or appearance to using a specific PDF preset that wrongly flattens stuff to Acrobat's hardware accelerated page display not working properly this could be a million things.

This article can help you find out if there are any conflicts between your copy of Windows XP and iTunes, and can tell you what to do if there are. Before going down the troubleshooting route though, you should take a look at this article, which can help you back up your entire iTunes library to an external hard drive, so if this issue is recurring, you will be able to restore from that backup and will not have to worry about losing your playlists or music again:

If the ringtones are on the old device just plug it in and do a transfer of purchases then they will be on the computer to sync to the new device.

iPhoto Menu -> Preferences -> General -> Connecting Camera opens.... And select your preferred app.
You can also make the same choice in the Image Capture (in your Applications Folder) and Aperture preferences.

System Preferences>General...remove the check for the box labeled "Restore Windows when Quitting & re-opening apps".

Every time I add a page to my documents, my buttons reset. How can I prevent this from happening?

I am using InDesign CS5. I have a very large document (698 pages) that has several buttons saved on each page.
I used the automated Table of Contents feature to create all of the destinations. Using the buttons dialog box, I select the specific page the document needs to go to.
I need to add pages to this document, but every time I add a page, all of the bookmarks default to the very first link in the list. How can I get prevent this from happening?
If I can't stop this from happening because I used the TOC feature to create the destinations, how can I quickly and easily move forward to add pages to the document. These pages will be inserted throughout the document.

Using Firefox 5.0 with Windows 7 on a laptop, whenever I click the 'Group Tabs' icon to the right of my tabs, the search function immediately comes up over my grouped tabs, preventing me from using any of them. This only happens on the home page. The drop down appears as soon as the "Bing Web Search" at the top of the page disappears as one scrolls down the page and remains visible until I scroll all the way back to the top of the home page.

Try to use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).

When using the "Open With" functionality to download an eml file, firefox is appending a *.txt extension to the filename. How can I prevent this from happening?

If I save the file instead of open it, the file saves correctly (ie: without the added txt extension). If I attempt to open instead of save, the txt is added, resulting in the file opening as a text file instead of an eml file.

When I visit certain web sites, a "cash back slider" appears; how do I prevent this from happening?

When Firefox opens certain sites, a "cash back slider" appears near the top left hand side of the screen. I have to move it to the middle of the screen in order to close it. I thought it was an add-on that I had inadvertently installed, but it is not included when I search the ad-on list. This feature is very annoying and I would like to disable it, but I can't figure out how to do so.

When I view application windows, but then cancel from this view I am moved to another open window from the application on a different desktop space. How can I prevent this from happening?

Hi Everyone!
I'm new to Mac, and I'm a bit unsure of how to handle a problem I'm having with application windows.
Here's the scenario:
On one space I have a bunch of PDF's open in Preview next to the document I am working on. On another space, I might have an unrelated PDF open and an image, also open in Preview. Now, say I use the Application Windows button to view all my open PDF's on the first space, but then discover I haven't got the PDF open, so I need to open in in finder. The moment I quit out of the Application Windows view I am transported to another desktop containing an open Preview window! This happens with other applications too, like if I trigger application windows on pages instead of preview and need to cancel, I get transported off to some other open pages document.
This is insanely infuriating, how can I stop it!

When i open firefox it dumps preferences files all over- how can i keep this from happening? I tried throwing all old firefox files away and reinstalling to no avail.

There are so many files- I have to clean them up every time I run firefox, which makes certain that I never use firefox. I need it now because Safari is acting up on me...

I had the same problem - I think it depends on your OS - pity that Mozilla didnt mention this on the front page before people download it! The best solution is to reinstall 3.6 from this page - there are options for PC, Mac and Linux

When I try to add Chinese as a language to use on my macbook, I get an error message saying that system preferences quit unexpectedly. How can i prevent this from happening?

Otherwise you might try setting up a new user account and see if you still have the problem when logged into that.
Most likely you have a bad .plist in Home/Library/Preferences

I get a file upload popup when composing an email using Godaddy webmail. How can I prevent this from happening?

When I try to compose an email from Godaddy's webmail in the Firefox browser. My steps are as follows:
-Open Firefox.
-Log in to Godaddy webmail.
-I hit the compose button.
-New window pops up. This is the window that I would compose an email in.
- Right after the compose window loads, I get another window that pops up. This window says "File Upload" in the upper left corner.
If I exit that window I can then compose my email, and life is good until I want to compose another email. Then the problem repeats. I have contacted Godaddy support and the problem is not on their end. Also the problem DOES NOT happen when using another browser (Internet Explorer).
