When downloading PDFs, they do not save to the download folder I assigned in Firefox - what can I do to fix this?
I am running Windows 8.
Every time I save a PDF it opens in UserName - AppData - Local - Temp
I have tried changing the download location in Firefox.
I've also Googled this problem and IE has the same issue - the fix for IE is declaring the site as trusted, but Firefox does not have a trusted site option.
I am aware of that.
My actual actions taken are:
I open the PDF
I hit CNTRL + SHIFT + S
The Safe Box with the temp folder selected pops up.
I access the file I wish to save in from the directory tree (I go to my username - documents - the folder - the sub-folder - the next sub-folder and then save).
Once a month I need to save 30-40 PDFs in the same folder in a short amount of time - in Windows XP the last folder saved in would become the default, which would be great. And again I found the work-around for IE, but I really like Firefox, and want to use it for this, if possible.

I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else. -
My FaceTime won't connect. Every time I try to call my friend it says connecting. Then unable to connect. Or lost connection. And when I go to our FaceTime history it said "FaceTime answered on another device." What can I do to fix this problem? We always used to FaceTime. And now all of the suddenly we can't.

How can I listen to my music I synced?
try resetting the device by holding down the home and sleep key, past the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that helps.
Also, try finding a free app, any free app, download it on your ipad then see if that gets your others to work.You can delete the free app if it works (or if it doesn't for that matter) -

Please let me know what type of file are you trying to print to PDF.
Is Adobe Acrobat installed on your system? What version?
Try doing the same with some other file and check if the same thing happens.

Since yesterday I have been unable to access my emails in Thunderbird. Every time I try to open the program (on iMac OS X 10.9.5), it crashes repeatedly. It seems to manage to send a crash report each time. Just now I was able to read one email before it crashed but usually it doesn't even get that far. Please help! I have so much of my life stored in there and I need to be able to regain access.

When I clear my history, Firefox clears my browsing and download history even though this checkbox is not checked. It didn't use to do this. What can I do to fix this? I believe the problem started with the last Firefox update.
Do you mean the "Form autocomplete" feature?

I am using a Mac and when I save my files as a jpeg, the files become much smaller, and consequently darker and blurrier. What can I do to fix this? I would like to inform you that not all the browsers and online PDF readers support copying text from a PDF. If you have opened the PDF online, please download PDF file to your computer and then open the file in Adobe Reader.

I've got to agree with Allan. It sounds like the hard drive is corrupt at least. It's possible it might be physically failing. Without backups, it's possible your data is already gone. You need a professional to help you.
If you do not have an Apple Store near you or simply don't have the time to spare, there are some things you can try, but you must understand that it's possible these things could make the chances of recovering your data worse than they already are. Perform the instructions to follow at your own risk!
First, you can try repairing your hard drive with Disk Utility. If that works, see if you can start up the machine. If you can, the very first thing you need to do is back up any data you don't want to lose. You may still need to take other steps, as your system may be damaged as well, but getting the data is the important part.
If Disk Utility cannot repair the problems, you can try DiskWarrior. It can repair problems that Disk Utility cannot. However, it also increases the risk of destroying your data if it fails. If it works and you can start up the machine, do the same as I advised for following success with Disk Utility.
If repairs (with either) were successful, but the machine still won't start up, you can try reinstalling the system. Hold down command-R at startup and then just install right on top of the existing system. If all goes well, you'll be able to start up afterwards and can get your data backed up. If all goes badly, it'll further decrease the chances of getting your data back.
If neither can repair the damage, you're in bad shape. You will need a professional to help you, unless you are willing to lose all your data. -
In iOS 4, you could make separate photo slide shows with separate songs.
In iOS 5, this has changed. Now only 1 song is allowed at a time. It will not save separate song selections for each slide show.
Is there any way to fix this? This is something I use every day.

Thank youMy Photos app works the same on iOS 5 as it did on iOS 4 i.e. I can have a different track for each album. When I select a track for a photo album I then start the slideshow so that it shows the first couple of photos with the track playing - I'm not sure it's necessary to start the slideshow but I always do and it remembers that track for that album.

If I understand correctly you are going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Add Account but that last option is not usable because it is gray. In testing this for you, I was able to reproduce this by enabling Restrictions and denying Account Changes. You can configure that with this article:

my ipod touch has a usb cable picture with an arrow pointing to the itunes logo. the ipod will not connect to a computer and is unable to be turned off as there is no red power slider when the power button is pressed. what can i do to fix this?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Since installing 10.7.3 my downloads say that I do not have enough space on my computer for the download. These downloads are never more that 200 megs or so and I have 270 gigs left on my hard drive. Somehow the remaining space on my hard drive is not being correctly read. What can I do to fix this? I have run permissions repair several times, but to no avail.
Th downloads do not finish. I am dowloading to a file on my desktop called MUSIC, but it first starts to download to my desktop and then I move it to the MUSIC file also on my desktop and I have been doing this without incident using 10.7.2 as well as 10.7.1 and 10.7.

I imported a video and when I play it back, the audio does not match the video. When I view the tape in my camera it looks fine. I've tried imported twice and each time it doesn't match. What can I do to fix this?
The default settings mostly likely use an audio sample rate of 32k. This doesn't work probably in FCP. You're probably better off capturing the tape in iMovie.
