I have made the simulation with captivate 4 around 45 slide and publish into the swf format and publish swf file load in the flash 8 move with his own control. When I drag the progress bar indicator screen become blank. Please help me.

When you drag the progress indicator, it pauses the playback.
So it could be that you've dragged to a point where your objects from one slide have faded out but the ones from the next haven't started to fade in yet.
Clicking the Play button on the playbar should get you going again, if that's what's happpened.

Did you reset your iPad like this: Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.

The Apple icon, usually at top left corner, appears in top right corner in a strip including all that left hand. When the computer is restarted, the screen goes back to normal. But I have to move the mouse to the far left of the screen and then up until it reappears on the far right hand side of the screen so that I can hit shut down button.
It seems to happen randomly though always on desk top and sometimes when I move mouse and computer switches on from rest mode. My large flat screen is relatively new.
The video card on this computer, which is approximately two years old, is Nvidia FeForce 9400M.
Any help would be welcome as my usual source of assistance is not available and I am not well versed in workings of the Mac although I have used one for many years.

That sounds like a Hardware problem.
You may be able to confirm that with Apple Hardware Test, or make an appointmenst for a free Genius Bar evaluation.

I have a list of directories of client to check if it exists.
I use cl_gui_frontend_services=>directory_exist method.
And I want to show the progress indicator.
But the method directory_exist will break the indicator, show the status bar's message is like, flashing. appear, disappear, appear, disappear ...
You can use the codes below to see what happens and can take a comparsion when you comment the method directory_exist .

I'm not sure there is anything you can do about the flashing clock icon in this case. This may just be a limitation of the GUI.
Of course, you always have the option of using 0% as the percentage when calling SAPGUI_PROGRESS_INDICATOR. This will eliminate the clock from the progress display, leaving just the percentage number plus the '%' sign.
In other words, you can eliminate the annoying flickering by changing your function call to:
CALL FUNCTION 'SAPGUI_PROGRESS_INDICATOR'
    EXPORTING
      percentage = 0
      text       = a.

Adobe screen becomes blank

Hi All,
We have a page built with Adobe flex Builder3.0 and uploaded the .swf file to KM. Also created a url ivew pointing to the KM path. The contents (Adobe screen) is visible only for a short period after which the screen becomes blank. Currently the workaround that we are doing is rebuiding the application and reloading the .swf to KM.
Can anyone suggest why this is happenning and provide a permanent fix for this.

Customizing the Progress Indicator

How can you modify the Progress Indicator? I don't mean modify the font, I mean change the actual tex. For instance, the standards are either relative (Question 1 of 5) or absolute (Question 3). How do I modify the program to set the indicator to "Senario 1 of 5", or whatever else may be appropriate for my course?

You did not tell the version of Captivate you are using? If it is Captivate 5, Rod is correct: you cannot change the words of the indicator. If it is CP4 you can, export Captions and the progress indicator is there, you can change and re-import.
If you are using CP5, you could use a dedicated master slide for question slides to add your own progress indicator. There is a system variable cpQuizInfoTotalQuestionsPerProject that gives you the total number of questions. You'll need to do some work to have the current Question slide number. I would store the number of the last slide before the first question slide in a user variable (you can do this when entering that slide, using the system variable cpInfoCurrentSlide). As an example, I will label that user variable v_start. On entering each question slide you can execute an advanced action, with an Expression to calculate the current question slide number, and store that in another user variable v_current. For your use case, put this in a text caption on the question master slide:
Scenario $$v_current$$ of $$cpQuizInfoTotalQuestionsPerProject$$
I should perhaps blog this solution, it is pretty simple and saves time when you have a lot of question slides.

What is simpler for the user than being able to connect pre-shaped text frames (not limited to Illustrator's silly Convert To Shape options) with rules, and then be able to move the text frames and have the rules auto-adjust (automatically avoiding other objects, automatically reshaping right-angle bends, etc. etc,) accordingly. What's "complex" about drawing a flowchart?
One can properly construct a dozen such diagrams in a program that provides proper connector lines in the time it takes to fuss and twiddle with Illustrator for such a simple task. FreeHand, Draw, Canvas, Visio all provide connector lines features.
The diagramming features in the draw module of Open Office is as good as any of them for the purpose of mundane decision tree diagrams, org charts, and flowcharts; and OpenOffice can be had for free. The same is true of Inkscape. You can download and install either one in less time than it will take to build a single typical such diagram in Illustrator. Using such tools is vastly more intuitive for a beginner than futzing about with Illustrator's "direct selection" routines.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Not a good sign, your HD is failing or has serious block problems. It might be possible to reformate the drive and start over.

Suddenly while working with Firefox if I happen to drag the vertical scroll bar, a very abnormal behavior occurs. My screen dances up and down for a short time before either going black or getting restored but with no clicks working. The only way to resume is to force a restart of the system.

That didn't work. On trying to install a new driver I got the error the graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware. Is there anything else that can be done to at least prevent the hanging of the computer even if it means less features from Firefox being available?

Screen become blank during the Manual Target Group creation

In the Marketing Segmentation, there is an option to allow the manual Target Group creation. I have a list of 5000 BP and I upload it via "Import Business Partner". It is just 5krecords and the screen goes blank. We have tried several times and encountering the same thing which there is no enhancement applied. Any idea if there is limit on BP to be uploaded?

High Volume Segmentation is recommended for segmentation activities for more than 500.000 BPs. In your case Classic Segmentation fits perfectly.

Furthermore since the Import Business Partner functionality is not Java based this cannot be a Java problem.
Do you receive a dump in transaction "st22" after trying the import?

Firefox loads but will not access the Internet, showing only a blank page with a single tab "Untitled," and "Done" in the progress indicator.

When I load Firefox, I get a blank page. There is a single tab with "Untitled," and an indication "Done" at the bottom. The program does not respond to any of my bookmarks--it works but the end result is the blank page described above.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.<br />
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.<br />
