When E65 is slide down, it Shuts Down

I just bought E65 two months ago and it is giving me problem. Whenever I slide down, it shuts down and I;ve to swtich it on. I've installed the new version of the phone as well. But the problem persists.

I had the same problem. after reading this thread, I tried to upgrade the telephone software. but didnt work. According to the repair center this is because nokia europe splits the updates among the different european countries. my phone is from UK and I am located in France. therefore automatic updates are no longer available (!!??). anyway, I went to the repair center, and this problem is apparently a recurring one. It wasnt clear if it was a battery contact problem or a software bug. they upgraded the software to version 2.0xx and placed some shimming rubber between the battery and telephone a the right side to ensure a good contact between battery and telephone (apparently instruction are coming from nokia).
Will see if the problem is sorted out. hope this info will help someone else like me who wasted some time on that silly problem.

I have a Sprint Pre, and it's been all weird for me lately. This afternoon, while it was plugged in via USB to charge, the keyboard just stopped working. It didn't respond at all. When I unplugged it, the phone shut down and would not restart. If I tried to plug it in again, all I would see is a white battery with a question mark in the middle on the screen. I could reboot it later by pressing orange+sym+power, but then I found that sliding the keyboard close after that shut down my phone, and I could only restart it after sliding the keyboard open again. This happens to me even after using webOS doctor on it. Please help me resolve this!

Try A and B
(A) Restart iPad
1. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
2. Drag the slider to turn off iPad.
3. Turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears
(B) Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

Adobe Reader is free. It always has been.
You have obviously downloaded and installed Acrobat (30 day trial version) and the trial period has expired.
You need to uninstall Acrobat (using the Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features [Vista/7])
Then run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
to completely remove the Acrobat installer files.
Then download Reader 9, install it, and go about reading PDFs for free.

When using bootcamp computer shuts down when turning the screen down.

Im using the latest version mac os x macbook retina 15display. When im running Windows 8 through bootcamp I'm having problems when turning down the display the computer always have to reboot again. I have to start it and choose to boot from Windows 8. But when entering Windows8 again it will remeber its state from when turning the screen down. This also causes a problem that I can not use only a single external display because I always have to have my screen up because when turning down it will shut down and my usb devices as mouse or keyboard will no be able to detect the computer. This is not a problem on my Mac Os X partition.

My MacBook pro shuts down when the battery drops down to 85% charge

I have a 15inch MacBook Pro Model 1.1. When i run it on battery it always shuts down when the battery gets down to 85%. Does anyone know how to take care of this problem so that i can use the battery for longer?

My MAC mini looses the wi-fi connection to a Belkin N wireless router when it goes to sleep or shut down. I have to re select the network when restarting or waking the computer up. I think this just started with Lion. My iPod and iPad have no trouble.

Thank you BGreg. That is what I have been doing, and then it works just fine. I think it was doing the same thing in the previous version of Lion. I may be incorrect about that. I upgraded to 10.7.3 a few weeks ago, and then last week I reloaded the combo update, hoping it would help. Not so. Thank you for letting me know it is a common problem. I have tried permissions in Disk Utilities, and in Macaroni, both at least 4 times, plus numerous restarts. Nothing Improves. It still can not find the internet when it wakes up or gets up.

The next best suggestion I have is to back up your device in itunes and restore the software back onto your device. It sounds like you might have had a error when downloading the software update.
