The other day I could not access my Skype account. So I click forgot password and tried to go from there. Now it's not recognizing the email I used for some reason and I tried all the emails I have just in case. I then tried forgot email address and entered my Skype name. But even that it's saying that it's not recognized. I just asked my friend to check my details and my Skype name is definitely the right one that I'm using.
So do you think my account is hacked? Can someone please help me resolve this?

what does the exact error message say? I think that alternative method of requesting for a new password will only work if your account has a billing history in the last 6 months.

Do I have to synchronize when retrieve service detail one by one?
am retrieving some service list and which need the service number,so I have to get the service detail object one service by another. And every service use its own si requester. At first I use a synchronized object to ensure the result can not be misunderstood,but later I found it may have low effeciency,and so that every service has its own requestor ,I think maybe every result should be propery understood,because ther requester can find the "father" who invoke it. Am I right?

tainyYou can issue multiple requests asynchronously, provided that the event listener has enough information to tell which request it's processing. With the JavaTV SI API, this may not be very easy unless you use a separate listener for every request. The DVB SI API makes it a bit more straightforward because you can pass an application-specific parameter when making the request, and this can be used to tell which result corresponds to that request.
You will probably still need some synchronization, depending what you want to do with the data you have. For instance, you may want to wait until you have the results from all your requests before doing futher processing, but at least you can avoid making every request synchronized.

Can't get to Secure Area. Was working, but now Log-in Page hangs when enter Name and Password.
Built site using Muse, then used Business Catalyst to set up Secure Area. Site worked for several months, but the Log-in Page looked somewhat unprofessional, since Name and Password box could appear almost anywhere on page. Asked for Adobe Help, and Adobe tech sent 'Test' page to check presentation. Now Log-in Page doesn't work at all. When enter Name and Password and hit Return - nothing ! Have to 'Escape' out of page - it just hangs. So members of the community site can no longer share internal data.
Would really appreciate any help trying to fix this issue.

Different skype names appearing when you sign in
When I sign into skype, a list of used names appears in the 'skype name' drop-down menu. Is it possible to clear this list? I don't want all the names to be visible when signing in. Grateful if anyone can advise, thanks.

Working with a customer in one of their meeting rooms. When they dial in and then enter the *65*____# command, a name will appear in the attendee list that is not in the meeting or even signed in. It's okay when the token ID code is entered a few times by the host does the phantom name go away.
And this might be unrelated, but on occasion, if the Connect meeting isn't closed down properly and the host just clicks the red X to close the window, the above mentioned user's desk phone will ring. I can not connect to Skype on my I-pod. I use my facebook account to log into Skype on my pc but when I try to log in on th i-pod I receive a message saying "We didn't recognize your Skype Name and password"

Problem: When receiving a Skype message old Skype Name is used on notifications
On my iOS phone, when I recieve a message, the notificationt that pops up uses an old display name. I don't think it's the Skype Name that shows, as it was a email address, not a name used originally. Any solutions?

So, after reading your post, i'v checked the "Use Mail Package" with encoding "none" and i am now using an XSD.
When i use IMail.AssumeXMLContent = true in the Advanced Mode, it brings me only one field in my content:
e.g.
<content>
<language>en</language>
</content>
It's weird that it brings me back only one field...it takes the first one only, don't know why ???!!!
The other solution is without the advanced mode and this time, i have all my field in my content but the symbol "<" or" >" is interpreted by < and > (text/hexa)
I'm going to try to apply xsl or java on it... -

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11. -

I went on holidays for a week, next time i tried to log in, the system did not allow me to enter
i requested a new password, and to my surprise, my new name was: [Removed for privacy] , like a joke name..

with no contacts in it..
so i ask google if its possible to change back my [Removed for privacy] name, to a human one, and to my second surprise, its NOT possible

Unfortunately, Skype doesn't send confirmation or validation emails to the email address registered when creating an account.

Same account (skype name + hotmail) problem
Hi everyone,
This just happened. When I enter with my Skype name I get around 20 contacts online inclusing old msn contacts. At that point I log out of my skype name and immidiately I log in with my hotmail credentials and some of the Skype contacts are shown offline and I dont have any of the old msn contatcs...
Its the same account linked together (my old msn + skype name)
What is wrong?

I have forgotten my password for my Skype Name account. When I try to recover it I am only given an option to reset the passwords on my hotmail accounts not my skype named account. I don't want to change those passwords, just the one associated with my Skype Name.
The email address associated with the account is a work address and is no longer accessible. The mobile number associated with the account is no longer active, so I have no way of receiving any codes.
When I tried to update the info it won't save without entering the password - an infinite loop!
Now that my auto log in no longer works I can't even access the Skype name accout. It has money in the profile that I want to use for landline calls, but I can't get past the security.
