When entering the correct code i'm still unable to redeem a gift card can anyone help me please??
I'm really struggling with this i have checked the code several times and i am entering it correctly but it still will not redeem ?? There doesn't seem to any phone numbers for me to discuss this with.

You'll need to connect the device to iTunes and restore it. If iTunes doesn't recognize the iPod still, try manually placing it in recovery mode first and then performing the restore in iTunes. See this article for instructions on putting the iPod into recovery mode.

Deleted the SMTP setting
Recreated the SMTP using the same settings
Able to send emails now

my ipod 4 got locked after several wrong password attempts by my lil daughter and now even i enter the correct password it is still unlocked...jus my ipod speaks wenever i press a button like i press time it says it..wen i press unlock keys like 1, 2,3 it jus says it like "1, 2, 3 ....." or i press battery it says "battery"
but it am unable to unlock though i enter the unlock keys ....pleaseno boss...its still the same... after clicking home thrice...it appears accessibility option but wen i jus click on any of it like "turn voiceover off" or turn zoom on" it just keep on repeating it...it jus says it like that...!!
dont know wot happened...!!! ipod is just speaking whatever u press..it just says any button u press...

To anyone with the same problem described above, on THEIR iPad (if it is running iOS 7.0.2):
Go to Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; DELETE your *******@btinternet.com e-mail account, that you originally set up either using 'Other', or the 'BT' option which I am sure was in the list previous to the iOS 7 update.
Then ADD a NEW account choosing YAHOO from the list of options. DO NOT USE 'OTHER'.
Enter the correct details just as you (almost certainly) had already done in your previous attempts using 'other'.
When you see the 'verifying......' and 'the blue ticks' you should be able to exit settings and open your mail app and then receive all your 'old' e-mails again, AND be able to SEND as well.
All my 'old' e-mails, were NOT found in the 'old e-mail' folder though. THEY are still in my inbox.
So this fix worked for me.
After I deleted my account from 'OTHER' and put it in Yahoo, I like other people also ended up with more folders.
I hope this works for you on YOUR Apple devices.

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

when I submitted my iPhoto book to Apple, an error caused the image file to be unreadable or unprintable,why can anyone help me please:)
what I did with my system was following:
1. Update your software.
2. Restart your computer.
3. Make sure all applications are closed.
4. Open iPhoto or Aperture.
5. While all other applications are closed, preview your print product as a
PDF.
6. Resubmit your order.
and still my PDF ibook file looked like my photos were scratched across the photos. Please help:)

I thought that I had done someting wrong. The first time it was my first attempt so I did not preview the photobok (did not know this trick). When I did the cover photos were completely ruined with lines and code.
The second time I changed everything and even made a different sized book - thinking my photo files were too big. I dutifully previewed before buying the book and everything was fine. Then a few days later got the usual e-mail message from Apple. When I previewed the project again ALL of the photos were corrupted.
What to do - I need to get the photobook to friends to celebrate their engagement!
If I saved the pdf then submitted this would that work??
Any thoughts - I am working on a large project and do not want to go any further if all the work will be ruined on buying the book. -

Try to backup and restore you device in itunes...restoring the device is like removing the iOS software off the device and re-add in a newer software, after you have restore you device, MAKE SURE YOU SET UP YOUR DEVICE LIKE A NEW DEVICE, DONT NOT RESTORE FROM BACKUP!!... give the device a chance to use the newer software and see if the issue still persisting, if the issue still on going then its would be a hardware issue.
Call Apple Care and see if your device is still under warranty to get it replace -
When I check for software updates only itunes and random other updates show up but not security updates or safari update. When i check installed updates I realized my last security update was 2011-004 and I still have safari 5.0.6. Can anyone help me?

Correct. When you purchase devices, they would have stated the OS they needed to work, on the box. This can be overlooked, but it is very important to check when purchasing.
You current OS, is so old, that they technology build into the new devices, is not something your OS understands. It didn't exist when your OS was created, and therefore you need to upgrade the OS to work with the newer technology of these devices.

My Facebook app stopped working on my iPad. It keeps asking me to put the FB password in settings. When I do it tells me "unable to connect to server". Can anyone help?
This problem affects many (including myself) and seems to be a bug in the integration of the FB app in iOS 7.
You can get around the login problem by turning Settings/Privacy for FB off. However, after you turn that Privacy setting back on after logging in, then iOS 7 will continue to pester you with pop-up messages to enter the password in Settings. This will invariably fail with the error message that you have already experienced, but at least it gives a way of logging in.
The solution will in my view have to come jointly from Apple and FB. -

Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue.
