Try restarting it. If this does not work, then hard restart it which is holding the power and home button until the product ***** off. If this does not help either, plug it into the computer and restore it. Make sure you back up the device before you restore it though! First of all, I do have to say, that getting in contact with Adobe System Support, is far from what I do call service :-(
I have this problem in Illustrator CS6. When I try to choose stroke weight, for example 1 pt.., the weight indicator jumps up to 100 000 pt.. and the stroke too!!!
I really do need help soon, because this have been a problem for a several months now, and I'm not able to work.
This is what I have tried already, that doesn't work:
Reinstalling the Illustrator hard wear.

The Airprint printer must be on the same local network (LAN) for Airprint to work. You cannot print to your home printer using the WiFi at Tim Horton's.

I have just purchased a new apple cordless keyboard. The numeric line of keys along the top are not functioning as they should. For example I am unable to get a question mark or a forward slash. I have tried holding down both shift and alt keys.
Thanks for prompt response - I tried what you suggested but I'm afraid it has not helped. It seems as though the line of number keys along the top aren't actually doing what is printed on them. Some are OK, but the further towards the right hand side of the keyboard you go, the less predicatable it becomes. So whilst the second key from the left gives me 1 and ! when holding the shift key, by the time I get to the 6 when I press and hold shift I get ^ rather than & symbol which is what is actually printed on the key. The & symbol is actually on the next key along - and when I hit the key with 8 I get * rather than the ( which is printed on they key but actually located on the next key along. Things get even more muddled by the time I am over on the right hand side as rather than a question mark (I have had to type the word as I cannot find the symbol anywhere!) I get this _ and the other symbol marked on the key is a comma, but I get - instead. It is going to drive me mad if every time I want to type something it is a guessing game....! What do you suggest - question mark

Have you held the menu and left arrow together for 6 secs ? (I think you have from what you say).

Help, my iphone 5 is locked and will not function! I've turned it off and on and it has the same fault. What ever you press on the screen highlights with a box round it. When you press the round button with the square in the centre the voice on the phone tells you the time. Then the voice says screen lock. If I try and unlock the phone the voice says phone unlock but you can't put the code in. If you hight the box it will say the number but not put the code in?! What's the crack?

Half the advice given here is to reset the phone.
A huge amount of time is then potentially spent reinstalling and reconfiguring the apps.
Indian "script monkey" call centres give that "advice" out all the time.

Especially as restoring the old backup is likely to restore whatever the old problem was. For example if your drive c: space was low, because you had loads of emails under Sent, those will go right back in. And I bet orphaned files which got stuck in the 1000484b directory will get put back too.Not all the problems get resolved thru' Factory reset but yes, certainly some do .. Thats why you may need a Soft reset or a Hard reset to overcome certain other issues..
..and it depends on what is Backed-up. Its advised that you only back-up the important data such as Contacts / Calendar entries before the reset and restore them after the reset..Messages (not e-mails) may be synced with Nokia Suite if large in nos. so that phone memory is left free..My personal experience shows that when a phone is NEW, you tend to install a lot of applications, may be for fun or curiosity or for showing off and do not really need them. After the excitement dies down, Reset the phone and install only those you really rally need. Won't be surprised if the no. of applications re-installed are less than 50% of initially installed .. -
We have 2 iPad 2's. For one of them it must be very close to the router to pick up a wifi signal. We have restarted and reset it without success. Using 7.1.1.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

The computer freezes? There may be something wrong with the USB port. If the laptop has more than one port, does this happen on any port? If you are disconnecting the shuffle cable from the computer, does it make any difference if you disconnect the shuffle at the other end of the cable first, then disconnect the cable from computer? Or if you currently disconnect the shuffle from cable first, try it the other way.
You may be able to work around this problem, if you get a self-powered USB hub. Something like this one

You can leave the shuffle cable connected to the hub, and connect the shuffle to the hub, instead of directly to the computer. This may provide a "buffer" for whatever is causing your laptop to shut off when the shuffle is disconnected.
