When exactly will WAV (1411kbps, in-sync to source sample rate) be available from iTunes instead of just M4A (re-sampling of source)??

The old Compact Disc Digital Audio has been around for the last 32 years or so, it is now the year 2012 and audio quality (that is readily available) has only declined, it would seem!!
I was a sucker for expecting that the music i bought from iTunes would be lossless or close to. It wasn't till i started noticing differences in quality by accident, between music from iTunes and the same tracks on CD's i already had. I've easily spent a grand or two with iTunes but have stopped for the last 6 months due to music quality issues. Buying the actual CD's is a better option for me at the moment, well at least till iTunes offer WAV (1411kbps), that HAS NOT simply been converted from their M4A libraries.
What can i say, i love my music! If i can't hear it as good as it can be then i'd rather not own it, because then it's virtually no different from hearing it on the radio!! So maybe there is only a small percentage of music lovers who fall into the audiophile category, who don't mind trading a few extra megabytes for better quality audio... the thing is, we should STILL have the choice. Especially when you consider how many dollars iTunes is saving by not providing you with a physical disc, yet their prices are virtually the same if not much more for some albums!
WAV (1411kbps) straight from the source is definitely the go for PC and Mac in my opinion!

This might be of interest, seems apple are encouraging the record companies to improve their source files for submission to the itunes store. Any improvement in audio quality is to be welcomed.

The mastered for itunes document in the first link contains a comment about keeping the highest quality masters in our systems will allow for future improvements to your music.
Was reading a couple of online blogs abut this and most people appear to be positive about the improvements, I had a listen and compared some previous CD against the same track in the mastered for itunes list and its appears to be an improvement (using Grado Labs SR80 phones not white ear buds), more open sounding.
Some CDs mastered years ago are very poor and even some recent ones are poorly mastered (loudness, bright) suppose it depends on the care put in at source that counts.

All support for your iPhone in the Philippines is handled by Globe, so you need to continue to work with them on the issue. No one here can help you directly with this issue, nor is there any way you can yourself contact the repair depot in Singapore (if indeed that's where it is). You can, however, try calling Apple Support in the Philippines at 1-800-1441-0234, ask to speak with someone in Customer Relations, and ask if there's anything they can do to help expedite the process.

Installing iTunes does not cause content to magically appear on the computer.
Your media is only where you put it.
iOS devices are not backup devices.
Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer.

The History menu can only show that fixed maximum of 15 as that is hard coded.

The only way to permanently remove an app is to delete the app from iTunes on your computer and delete the app from every device that has the app. If you don't, then when the devices are synced to the computer it will be transfered back to the iTunes library on the computer from the device.

After download newest itunes software itunes will not sync the music that i have on my dell to the apple tv however i can get the music i have purchased from i tunes. Applet tells me i will have to reload all the music that was not purchased from itunes.

ITunes won't sync any music that was not purchased from iTunes onto my iPhones 5S

I have updated to Mavericks on my macbook, and iTunes will no longer sync my iPhone 5S properly. It does not remove any music that has been deleted. My phone will no longer play any music that was not purchased from iTunes. I tried to delete all my music and download it again, but iTunes would not remove it from the phone. Is anyone having a similar problem? Any ideas to get things back to normal? I am restoring from back up as I type, but I doubt it will solve my problem.

I had the exact same problem since upgrading to Mavericks. When I tried to copy the music from iTunes, either wifi or wired, it appeared in 'On this phone' greyed out. Forcing a sync didn't help. I noticed too that iTunes showed odd values for the amount of space available on the phone - around 9GB compared to 27GB on the phone itself.
I solved the problem by turning off iTunes Match, turning it back on again, then reconnecting my iPhone.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

I live in Norway, and just recently discovered the iTunes in the iCloud feature while moving stuff from one failing computer to the next. I've managed to salvage most of my purchased tracks thanks to the copies on my iPhone, but sadly some are irretrievably lost. At least until I can download them again - not too keen on buying them a second time though.
So: Can we hope to see this feature made available to our region in the near future?

How to sync music back on to iphone 4 from iTunes library after restore

Troubleshooting (this may or may not work with other Apple devices)
Step 1: Select the music you want to sync to your iphone.
You may find some are missing (flagged). When you try to play it will let you try to locate it and hopefully it should still be on your pc. Luckily for those no longer on pc I had backups on USB drive which I pasted back into iTunes media folder. Always best to keep iTunes library music in the iTunes media folder.
Step 2: Click on your device and select the summary page.
Step 3: Scroll down to options page and make sure that the only thing ticked in the options box is 'syn only ticked music and videos'.
Step 4: Whilst still on your device, select the music page and tick sync music and entire library.
Step 5: Then click sync at the bottom of the page.
All music selected and not missing (location could not found) from your iTunes library should be synced to your iphone.

Then choose to "Sync Music" and then "Entire music library" or "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres."
Then remember to click the "Sync" button at the bottom right.

Hi,
You cannot manually manage music with match turned on on your iOS device. If you want to manage music manually, you will need to turn off match on your iPhone.

Your iTunes account is totally separate from your iPad. If you delete music from the iPad it will still be in your iTunes library on your computer. I don't keep much, if any, music at all on my iPad because I just don't need it. I still listen to that music on my iPhone, my iPod classic, and my iMac.
