When exiting Firefox for PC is closing and quitting the same thing?
using Exit (under File) or the "X" (upper Left Hand corner) are these both the same, and if so, will my Privacy Settings then be actioned?

What do you mean?
If you close Firefox using the '''X''' top right corner, this will only close
that one window. If other FF windows are open, they are not effected.
If you close Firefox by '''Menu > File > Exit,''' all FF windows are closed.

I am on the current Firefox version. I am running Windows 7 Professional with all current updates, and I run McAfee. As stated, I have tried all of the possible fixes your site discusses and have made sure McAfee is setup to allow Firefox full access. I am not sure what to do. I just got a new CD I would like to import. Recently my laptop has been malfunctioning so I can't import it there, so I have to import it on our family's main computer. When I try to import the CD, it'll get maybe a minute of the first song, then get maybe a second or two of the next couple, then get half of another, and repeat the same thing.
How can I fix this?
Please, it is getting on my nerves. I have updated the Itunes and fixed what I was told to do but it still does it.
What do I do?You're not alone, but for me, it doesn't happen very often. Maybe one in fifty. Sometimes it will read after multiple tries, but a few (two of the three Shins CDs) never work. This was a common problem two years ago when I first got my iMac (many discussions but no answers). I'll keep looking and I'll let you know if I find something.

I updated Firefox and now it will not open at all. The hourglass shows that it's working but then nothing. I went to add/remove and removed mozilla and reinstalled it and still the same thing. It worked fine before I updated. Now I can't even remove the program at all. Why is this happening?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

The computer should be returned to the Apple Store genius bar for

Sometimes a test may not run any of the additional software, together
or separately, that you may be accustomed to using. Perhaps the basic
OS X and a few applications work just fine.
If the issue is due to a conflict in software and not a hardware failure,
the cause may be harder to discover. If you have a complete backup
of the system and your files on an external drive, that may help if you
need to reinstall it. However if there is a problem in that software set
a new installation without conflicting software may be required in order
to troubleshoot the machine.
How old is the computer, how much RAM installed, how large a hard
disk drive and what is the remaining unused capacity of that drive?
(The HDD capacity will show 'other' so that may be unsubstantiated.)
Are there any indications in Activity Monitor, or in the system log files
from Console, to show crash logs or other effects from the Time/Date
of these slow wakeup and black-screen intervals? There may be.
Some of the system report may be helpful to those who know how to
read the resulting mass of files. Perhaps one of the more advanced
users who occasionally reply here will see your thread and offer a
method of accessing the OS X via Terminal or single user mode,
for troubleshooting purposes. Mine is an older OS X with less fuss.

When i plug in my iPad2, iPhoto comes on not iTunes. I see iPad in system profiler under USB. I have reset, removed and re-downloaded iTunes. When I download iTunes it works until the next time i plug in the iPad2 and then the same thing all over.

The App Store want allow me to download new apps because I have not set up security questions.But I share an iTunes account with my friend. So if I set up the questions will my friend have to use and answer the same thing?

Just cloud is just storage space in the cloud that you upload files that can be shared by various devices, you pay for it by subscription. The important part to remember is that it is a files and folders system, much the same as putting files on and taking them off a hard drive that is shared by everything.
iCloud is a free service with a free 5 GB of storage (ample for many), you still store your files on it and share them between your various devices, but files are accessed through the application rather than a folder system, just as you would on an iOS device. It is also used to keep much of your personal information such as contacts, calendars etc in sync between all your devices, it also includes a free IMAP mail account.
i use both these models for different things, but use Dropbox instead of just cloud. -

You may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/resync your content to it.
If you do it via a different computer that it's not normally synced to then (from here) :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. -

When you sort the Album in iphoto are you sorting manually? Or by date of the photos?
When you sort in the Finder how are are you sorting?
Here's one way to do what you're trying to do:
Create your Album and sort the pics as you want them. Then Photos Menu: Batch Change -> Set Title to Text "John's Birthday", for instance, and tick the box to append a number to each Photo. Now your photos are titled 'John's Birthday 001, John's Birthday 002 ... etc'
Then File -> Export and in the Export dialogue set the Filename to "Use Title"
Sort on Filename in the Finder and you end up with a folder full of images in the same order as the Album in iPhoto.
