When exporting a sequence as media, I don't see preset that matches my aspect ratio

i shot in HDV, with an aspect ratio of 1.33 (1440x1080). When creating a project and sequence, I'm able to pick, under HDV, 1080p30, which shows the same aspect ratio. But when I try to produce a sequence to video (File, Export, Media), I don't see an option that offers that aspect ratio or size of frame. Yet when I produce it and play it in Windows Media Player, it looks right. But I'd feel much easier if the production (Export) aspect ratio matched the one I've been working in.
Is this something to worry about? And/or, how do I obtain an aspect ratio that matches mine? Setting a Custom aspect ratio in the Export db also makes me nervous.

No. Don't worry about it. Export at 1920X1080 using square pixels. (1.0)
Why?
Because most players can't understand the non-square pixels from an HDV camera. They understand square pixels just fine.

For example I just exported a collection and set the dpi to 180 and the size to 7 inches on the long edge. My exported result is 457 dpi and sized at 3200x2134 pixels.. Any ideas on why this is happening and what I can do to correct it?

The DPI setting in a digital image has no meaning at all. You need to learn how to calculate what you need in your exported image. The only measurement in a digital image that has any meaning is the number of pixels in each direction. It doesn't matter what you set that DPI to (actually it's PPI or pixels per inch). The image will have the same number of pixels regardless of the setting. If you need an image that is 5 x 7" (for example) at 200 PPI then you would want an image that measured:
5 x 200 = 1000 pixels
7 x 200 = 1400 pixels
So you would need an image that is 1000 x 1400 pixels to have a 5 x 7" image at 200 PPI. The reason your exported image had such a high PPI setting is because you specified the number of inches you wanted the image to be. And there were enough pixels in the image that it calculated out to be that high PPI setting.
I apologize, I don't explain this very well. But you need to learn to do the math to determine how large you really want your exported images to be.

If you rent a movie on your phone, you have to watch it on your phone, likewise if you rent it from the Apple TV you will have to watch it there.
If you want to watch a rental on multiple devices, rent it from a computer.

Since the new update when Exporting I get this message ""Adobe Premiere Pro sorry, A serious Error has accord that requires....." I've tried to reinstall the software on both computer without any luck. Please Help!

Transparency Issue when exporting Image Sequence

Hi,
I'm creating short anims which have transparency and exporting them as png image sequences. I'm finding two issues with the export though:
1) The first frame is always solid black (when it should be totally transparent)
2) The R,G,B channels of each image are multiplied by the transparancy. So for example if I want a shape that's 50% transparent and coloured red the png should be 255,0,0,127 (R,G,B,A). In fact what After Effects is creating is a shape that's 127,0,0,127 (R,G,B,A)
Does anyone know what this issue is and how to solve it?

You should not have any problem with PNG as you have no choice but to have the alpha to straight (it's on of the only codecs that doesn't support premultiplied). Do you have the same problem is you select tiff sequences (LZW compression if you don't have much free space).

Red frames when exporting mfx from new media encoder

I edit TV programs each week that are mastered as MXF comps. Updated to premiere pro 8.2 (MacPro Late 2013) yesterday. Now when I export a program using the updated Media Encoder que, I'm getting full page red frames intermittently. How can I go back to the previous release? I can't wait for the bugs to be worked out.

"disk full" message? when exporting 60fps sequences with "match sequence settings"?

Hi, I have searched the forums for this subject and found many discussions that went in different directions but no solutions or input from Adobe.
Summarizing,
everything exports well, both directly from PremPro CS6 and from AME (all input files (like 720p or 1080 p .mts AVCHD or .mp4 H264), all sequence settings, all export settings (like H264, 30 fps, 60 fps)
EXCEPT "match sequence settings" for 60 fps 1080p or 720p AVCHD footage, THEN you get the message "Disk full" after 10-20 seconds.
Of course, the disc is not full, there are no applied effects, and it worked well in CS5.5!!
So, Adobe, what can be done about this, no update yet??

Thanks for the reply.
My cache files are stored on a secondary (7200rpm) 1 TB disc
So are the preview files, render files and the source files, but there are no render or preview files, I just put the footage on the timeline in a "new sequence from clip" (which was AVCHD 1080p 60fps .mts file) and tried to export without editing.
I tried to export to this disc and also to the C: disc but got the same message:"Error compiling movie. Disc Full".
If I made the sequence 30 fps the "match sequence settings" export worked well.
I can export n H264.mp4 format at 60fps but I would like to just trim the clips in the timeline and save them without much loss for later editing.

How do I export as XD Cam? I don't see it on the drop down menu.

I have the latest update of Premiere Pro CC and read that it has native support of XD Cam but I can't seem to find it in the export drop down menu. Is it not included in the initial download? Do do I need to install separately? If so, how ? Thanks.

Are you in the PrPro export box, or did you cue over to Adobe Media Encoder (AME) which is really the complete export program. If not, select the "Queue" option at the bottom of PrPro's dialog box, and then AME pops up.

When I switch on Photo Stream I don't see an option to switch on shared photo stream

I am wanting to share an album from iphoto on my Mac (I have Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5) but when I switch on Photo Stream, I am not getting an option to switch on Shared Photo Stream. Consequently, when I share the photos I've selected from the album to photo stream, I don't get asked for the email addresses of the people with whom I want to share the photos. Any suggestions?

That's your problem. You have 10.7.5 - which is Lion.
You need to upgrade your OS to 10.8 - which is Mountain Lion.

Something may have happened when I cleaned out the cache & cookies ... but, I am not sure. I have lines in my aol email now ... the font is all different ... and, when I am on my own FB page, there are black boxes around everything & I cannot see my own photos in my albums.

If you are running iOS 4 or earlier you will have to update using iTunes on your computer.

Foxfire error message that I already have the application running. But when I check the system manager, I don't see that Foxfire is running.

Often, when I click on Foxfire, I get an message saying that Foxfire is already running and I have to close it to start it agai. But when I look at the sys manager (ctl/alt/delete) it does nopt show that Foxfire is running.

Sounds like it is hanging when you exit and later try to restart Firefox.

When I pull down my bookmarks I don't see the tabs I set up under uncatagorized bookmarks and can't access the bookmarks I've sorted there

When I used Internet Explorer and used the pull-down menu, the categories I set up displayed and the bookmarks under each category displayed as well. I've now set up folders in Firefox under "uncategorized bookmarks," but when I pull down Bookmarks, neither the categories nor the bookmarks appear. Have I set up the categories properly? If so, how can I make the sorted bookmarks appear?

Can't put email contacts in To: field since installing Maverick. Wonder when they will fix this. I don't see anything good about Maverick. Wish I had my old OS back.
