When Firefox is launched, it does not load as is expected, there is no address bar and I am not able to surf the internet. Is there a plug in I need to download?

My other web browser is working and I am able to surf the internet with it. I have an iMac.

Sorry for my dilatory reply, what does your mean that IE dialing to connect to internet? Did your system can connect to Internet? or just IE 11 couldn't connect to internet. you can
check your IE poxy setting in Connections of Internet options.
If you encountered any IE problem, you can try to reset IE for test to resolve this problem.

I have installed solaris 10 and it is in subnet but no router. I was not able to access the internet.

When I create the file dhcp.e1000g0 internet works but the hostname becomes unknown.
Can someone please help me ?

Despite the WiFi connection sign you may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPad a valid IP address when the iPad requested it. To check on this go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address shown starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix for this can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

my problem is that my forms builder is not able to open the form in IE during compilation if Internet explorer is not already running but it is able to open the form in a new tab if Internet explorer is already running.

1. In the Builder verify that you have valid values for the Application Server URL and Browser Location fields in the Builder Preferences Runtime (tab). Do not leave either field blank.
2. In the browser settings, on the Advanced tab, scroll down to the Security section and check the box labeled, "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer".
3. Click Ok to save the changes. Close ALL open browsers

Thanks for the help. The only one which worked was Gmail Watcher which does not change the icon. But it provides similar functionality by creating a periodic message visible at the bottom left of the screen telling me how many unread emails are in my inbox.

System no longer does session restore but when trying to configure, it does not provide me with the option to show windows and tabs from last session

Before I updated the latest version of Firefox, every time the browser shuts down in error, I would get the System Restore feature which was really nice. Now, this no longer happens and when I went to configure this ability, it does not even provide me with the option to select to show windows and tabs from the last session. I can open Firefox v4.0b4 no problem, and I can bring up links that are on the google page and pages that are bookmarked, but when I enter a web address in the address bar and either hit "enter" or click on the blue arrow nothing happens.

After I upgraded to lion I have been having constant issue with my wi-fi after sleep mode. I close the lid and when I reopen I open safari and cannot connect to the internet. Wi-fi is on and I am connected to my router, but it doesnt seem to be on the internet. Now how I resolve this issue is turn of the wi-fi and turning it back on, then i am back on the net. this is mos-def a bug i have never had that problem with snow leopard. I have the same issue and have to cycle the wireless modem on the laptop. Doesn't matter if I'm on a preferred netowrk or no, or if I stay on the same network or move. I come out of sleep, I have to cycle the modem.
It's not life threatening, or anything, but it's a hassle. I didn't have the issue with Snow Leopard.

ITunes does not play music from the internet stable

since the new update 10.9 and iTunes 11.1.2 I have a lot of problem with streaming radio station via iTunes. Suddenly the iTunes stopps working and when I am open "sofort beenden" it shows me that iTunes is stop working. Then I have to close iTunes and start it again. This happnes never before the update!!.
