When Firefox5 will be supported by BI ?

BI4.0 doesn't support Firefox5 right now.
I want to know which version of BI will support Firefox5? And When will the support version be released?
Thank your reply.

The way the browser wars are going with a new version every month  or so will make it very difficult for us to list each and every supported browser.  I think it was stated that we would try but FireFox 8 is already out. What is broken in FireFox 5 that you're looking to be fix or is it just you want it to be supported?

    Thanks, Mike

It appears on the App store when I open it on my iPhone. Haven't tried installing it as the reviews are rather unflattering at this point, but at least it looks like it should be installable...

  • Silverlight Support Blackberry: If/when this will be supported

Hello, We are architecting a solution using Silverlight. We have a requirement for PDA access. We would like to use the blackberry PDA’s but are getting mixed signals when trying to determine if/when Silverlight will be supported by Blackberry.
This site says it will be supported: http://www.electronista.com/articles/09/08/19/bberry.gets.flash.in.2010/
This posting implies it will not be supported: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-App-World-General/Silverlight-Support/m-p/345128
Could you please speak as to if/when it will be supported? Our project will finish early 2011 so if we don’t have support until the last half of 2010 that is ok. We are just looking for someone from RIM to confirm/deny the rumor.

    hello,
    RIM never comments about rumors.
if you search for any webpage hosted by blackberry.com, except "BB Support Community Forum" and "My BlackBerry", there is zero pages that talk about Silverlight :
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=silverlight+site%3Ablackberry.com+-site%3Asupportforums.blackbe...
and it's the same on rim.com website :
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=silverlight+site%3Arim.com&aq=f&oq=&aqi=
so it's a rumor (and RIM will not comment it )

On the regular LR updates, will the update be for LR3 also or just for LR4?
    Thx.
I don't immediately recall a time when the previous version of LR was updated after the next version was released.

  • OCFS2 - Any idea when it will be supported?

    Hi,
I am at the beginning stages of a 11.5.10 development effort. We are building our dev hardware environment with the intentions of mimicking prod. The problem I have is clustering/RAC and what to do about the shared file system. Right now, OCFS2 is not supported for production. This would somewhat force our hand to look at Red Hat GFS for the shared file system (expensive - $2100 per node) or something similar, since we are planning a shared $ORACLE_HOME and $APPL_TOP.
Does anyone have an idea when OCFS2 will be supported? Are there other alternatives to Red Hat GFS?
    Thanks kindly,
    BJ
PS: Raw devices not an option.

That certainly does - a bunch!
Go live on this project is not until November 1 2005, so I can start development with beta OCFS2, when OCFS2 goes GA I'll just backup everything and rebuild the file system with the supported version.
Thanks for checking it out, very much appreciated!
    BJ

  • Any idea when we will get support for Java 7.5 in Safari?

I'm in school for a degree in software engineering and Java is a big part of it.  As a regular Mac user who uses Safari as his main browser, it's disappointing that adoption of the latest Java versions in Safari seem to be lacking.  Is there any way to get Safari to look at the latest versions of Java instead of being stuck on Java 1.6?
Thanks in advance for any help! :-)

Apple has kept up to date (more recently) with the latest releases of Java 6 (1.6.0_33), which is the current public release of Java. You can install the development Java 7 runtime from Oracle (currently on build 5), but this will not support many features and functions of the final release. All future updates to Java will be issued and maintained by Oracle as it's done on other platforms. Apple will not be offering an in-house Java runtime after Java SE 6. You can get the latest Java updates here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

  • Any word on when HTML5 will be supported for deployment of FileMaker WebDirect?

Databases deployed through FileMaker's new WebDirect do not render properly in Firefox, apparently due to lack of support for HTML5. We deploy this on both Windows and Mac. -- Victor

I used to use FileMaker back in the day... when web publishing was primitive at best.
Do you know whether there is a publicly viewable demo site online that a volunteer could use to examine this problem? I suspect it might be hard for you to provide enough detail just with text. Or perhaps you can post a screen recording illustrating the problem.

  • OSB installed in WebLogic 12C - when it will be supported

As I believed that OSB is nothing more than a webaplication with specific tables in Oracle database I imagined that I could try to install OSB in WebLogic12C. Maybe I am telling a stupid thing because I can see that after installed OSB, there is a specific new server on WebLogic console.
Anyway, even if it was right, there a huge difference between I installed locally to test and I confirmed to do this without comercial support. Then, my question is: Is there some prediction about OSB, OER, OSR (SOA tools) be supported in WebLogic 12C? The more important for me is OSB.
Other question is: is there some prediction about new version of OSB? If so, this probably will work by default at weblogic 12c.

Anyway, even if it was right, there a huge difference between I installed locally to test and I confirmed to do this without comercial supportYou are correct. As Abhishek has already mentioned, OSB is not merely a web-app and it is tightly integrated with Weblogic app server. So there is no meaning putting any effort to try to get it work on Weblogic 12c.
Is there some prediction about OSB, OER, OSR (SOA tools) be supported in WebLogic 12C? The more important for me is OSB.It is too early to talk about 12c but yes, all these products will be part of OFMW 12c.
Other question is: is there some prediction about new version of OSB? If so, this probably will work by default at weblogic 12c.The next version of OSB will be 11g R1 patch set 6 (11.1.1.7) and hence it will only be certified with Weblogic 10.3.7

  • Windows 2008 R2 - any news on when this will be supported?

We are hot on the heals of an ECC6 upgrade, the plan is to put it into our virtual environment, which is windows 2008 R2 and hyper-v.  At this time we are going to have to setup our virtual servers with Windows 2008 in leu of 2008 R2 because it isn't showing up in the supported list in PAM ye (at least I'm not seeing itt.  I understand the plan was Q4 of this year. Am I missing something that says it is now in the supported list, or are we just going to have to go ahead and upgrade the OS later?
    Thanks
    Laurie McGniley

Please check SAP note 1383873, once it is supported, this note will mention it.

  • When will Adobe support the new Canon S100 RAW format in Lightroom (& Camera RAW)?

Just bought a new Canon S100.  It generates RAW files, but Lightroom would not import it as it said it was unsupported.  Any ideas when Adobe will start supporting this new RAW format?

Got mine yesterday and discovered LR and PS didn't recognize the camera.  To make maters worse the Canon software and manuals are on the included disc.  Unfortunately my iMac wouldn't recognize the the disc.  I called Canon and they told me the camera was too new and they couldn't help me. They didn't have another disc they could send me or I couldn't download the software on line.  They told me to check back in a few weeks.  Before I hung up, the rep asked me if there was anything else he could help me with.  All I could do was laugh.

  • When will Aperture support Sony RX100M3?

I recently upgraded from Sony RX100M2 to a RX100M3. I know there was RAW support for the RX100M2, but looks like there is no support for M3. I'm wondering when Apple will add support for the new camera.

I got the feeling from the press releases that they are not going to make any more improvements to Aperture. Any thoughts on if OSx 8 photo app will support RAW? Now wondering what software to go moving forward.....Lightroom?

  • When will Excel Support Tabular Model Table and Column Descriptions via Tool Tip or other display mechanism

I have noticed that SSMS supports tool tips for the Tabular Model (tables and columns) however Excel 2013 doesn't appear to.   This is a very important feature to our end users.
Does anyone know when this will be supported?
    Thanks
    M Meyer

    Hi Meyer,
According to your description, you want to use the tooltip function in Microsoft Excel for the SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular model, right?
I have tested it on my local environment (Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1 and Excel 2013), the result is that the feature is not supported currently. It's hard to say the detail date when this will be supported. If this feature is enabled, Microsoft will announce
    it on the document.
Besides, if you have any concern about this behavior, you can submit a feedback at
http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/Feedback and hope it is resolved in the next release of service pack or product. Your feedback enables Microsoft to make software and services the best that
they can be, Microsoft might consider to add this feature in the following release after official confirmation.
