When going to sites that require a password I get a popup that asks if it should remember the password. How do I get rid of this?
When I go to a site that requires a password, i get a pop up that asks if I want the password remembered. There is a gold key. and there is a gray key next to the website address

How do you get rid of an old Apple ID that hasn't been used in a while in which you no longer remember the password and the email account it's tied to no longer exists?
The password will not be sent to you, because Apple does not know it. They will send a link where you can reset the password. How can I retrieve a store credit under an old Itunes ID? I can't remember the password.
I have an old Macbook that has an Itunes account under and old apple ID. I cannot remember the password. I have since purchased a new MBPro and changed my provider so my email addy (apple ID) has changed. Cannot retrieve the Itunes password now. I have set up an alternative account, with a new
apple ID that is linked to my correct current email. But I noticed on the Itunes store that I have a credit still sitting there. How can I use that credit? I have tried to log in using my old, Macbook appleID for the store but I cannot remember the password and the computer won't let me reset the password for that acocunt. The tittle sums it up, my boss has a skype account and has been logged for 1 year in that computer and forgot her password, now shee need to change computer and doesn't remember the password (not even the user)... so it's there a way to see the password for a logged account?
Hi, HernanCortes, and welcome to the Community,
Hopefully the account's registered e-mail address is still valid and working. You can see the Skype account's name by reviewing the profile details; the account name will appear at the very top of the profile window.
If the account is still logged in, click on Skype -> Change Password.

Anyone know why, firefox does not remember password for a site when you remove password from the view password site? I removed a password for a site that was not remembering the correct password for the "view password" window and now it does not guess the password and does not remember the password for that site. All other sites are being remembered.

I have icloud on my phone with an apple id that I no longer use. I keep getting asked to enter the password for this ID. However I can't remember the password.
When I try to re-set the password, a e-mail will be send to an address I no longer use and can't access.
I then try to answer the security questions, but the date of births I enter are not accepted
Any ideas?

This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

When you say 'changed my email with the itunes store and have a new password' do you mean that you've changed the email address on that old account, or are you referring to a different account ?
If you've updated the old account then try logging out of the account on the phone by tapping on the id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in with the updated version.
If they are different accounts then all apps (and other content from the store) are tied to the account that downloaded them, so only that account will be able to download updates to them. For apps like Twitter and Facebook you could delete them from the phone and redownload them via your account so that they are linked to that instead.
If there are apps that have content in them, and you can't copy that content off (so that you can delete the app, buy/download it on your account, and copy the content back), then you will need the password to the old account to be able to update them. You should be able to get it reset via http://iforgot.apple.com -

Contact iTunes Customer support... it is not possible to bypass Activation Lock.

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID
