When google maps app will be available in the egyptian store?

Google maps app came to app store for a while and didn't come to egyptain store and we need it here when it will be available??

I am writing from Bulgaria (which is EU), but as far as I know there's no HBO GO native app for the Apple TV in the UK too. I have HBO subscritpion, which I enabled on my HBO GO iPhone app. Truth to be told I can stream HBO GO films via AirPlay, however the film stops when I get a phone call. So native HBO GO Apple TV app will be nice solution. I tried switching to the US store but with no luck. (HBO GO is available to the fifty states only).

I am extremely upset. I purchased my iPad in SA and I am traveling in Greece. When I want to make use of the free apps, I get a message that the app is not available in the SA store. What is the point of having an iPad if you cannot use it worldwide?

I am extremely upset. I purchased my iPad in SA and now I am in Greece. I cannot download free apps as I get a message that the apps are not available in the SA store and only in US stores. When I change to the US store the same thing happens. What is the point of having an iPad if I cannot use it worldwide??? I feel that I wasted my money purchasing it as I specifically purchased it to use when I travel. How can I get access to all the available apps and why are they restricted.

You can use your iPad worldwide. However, each AppleID is tied to
a specific country's store. To use the AppStore in any country, you
must be in that country and have a credit/debit card issued by a financial
institution in that country with a verified billing address in that country.
It is the developer's choice which AppStores he makes his app available
from, and some countries prohibit certain apps.
To make a purchase from the US store (including downloading a free app
available in the US store), you must be in the US and have card issued
in the US with verified billing address in the US.
You can use your purchases from the SA store worldwide, but you
cannot make purchases in other than the SA store unless you meet
the aforesaid conditions.

Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your device and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select the Philippines.

Whenever Google decides to release it there. You could try asking them if they have a date. However, most companies don't give out that information ahead of time.

It appears on the App store when I open it on my iPhone. Haven't tried installing it as the reviews are rather unflattering at this point, but at least it looks like it should be installable...

Maps: Google Earth, google maps, google maps app...what's the difference?

I can't really figure out the difference between Google Earth, the maps app (google's) that comes on the iPhone, and the google maps that you can use in google (if this makes sense?). There are subtle differences in the way they LOOK...but are there any major differences I'm not seeing? Why would one have Google Earth, Google Maps, and the google apps (map), on their phone? Sorry if this is a really silly question...
Also, does anyone know if it's possible to view a map of a city and have it show ALL of your pins at once? For example, it would show a pin where my 6 friends live, my favorite 4 restaurants that I've labeled, and everyone in my contacts list etc.

What I was getting at was the apparent inability to view multiple contacts as map pins on the iPhone maps app. For example, if I were a connoisseur of Indian restaurants, and had my favourites listed in my contacts, it would be great to see all of my faves on the map so I could choose which is closest.
Since I bought my iPhone in 2009 I have thought that maps on the iPhone are window dressing and could be so much better for social and business use.

It is working now. I no longer get the message about the item not being available in the US and I can access the store.

Google's YouTube app was originally iPhone-only, but they made an iPad version about a month later. It's safe to assume that Google will do the same with its Maps app.

There is no way to know such a thing unless Apple announces. Whenever Apple and the TV industry/distributors in New Zealand are able to reach an agreement for the rights to sell content, then they will be able to do this.

That's why I started this discussion to find out why this app didn't reach the appstore yet. I know it does a lot of waht Siri does but it's not fully integrated to iOS/hardware like Siri so, that's why I don't understand why Apple is taking so long to approve it nor to disclose why they are not approving.
I didn't find any info about google app not being within the guidelines of Apples terms and conditions too...
and in regards to the maps, that's a good point but it could use maps.google.com like it currently does so I don't think it should be a big deal right?

I am in the process of adding thousands of customers into my stock contacts app. Sometimes I want to drop a pin in an exact location on the property. I drop it, assign it to the contact, leave the app, and then come back into the contacts app and click on the address. It then takes me into google maps where I constantly discover that the pin has moved. It often moves off the property of the addresss or building I dropped a pin on. I am trying to solve this. I want that pin to stay in the exact location that I dropped it. Can somebody please help?

Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.
Maybe it's time to buy yourself a new iPod Touch.
